I've been taking my pets here since 1981.

Very friendly and attentive staff. We've been looking for a primary Veterinary clinic for our dog zeus, We've totally found it. They treated zeus so well and every staff member was so welcoming. They were professional and explained all the medication zeus needed to take and explained all the care they took that day. Zeus loved it and I could tell because the staff made him feel loved and calm. Thank you so much and I'm excited to have found a permanent Veterinary home for our zeus.

We are fairly new to the area and couldn't be happier with our choice in veterinarians. They are very caring, flexible, and do well with our high maintenance rescue dogs.

If they would take humans, I would go there for my medical care! The doctors and support staff are excellent. They care about the animals and the animal’s people. In over 15 years, I have recommended Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital, to many people and they have all, without exception, been very happy with the practice. In addition, they are AAHA accredited. I looked it up and only 12%-15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada are “AAHA accredited.” It is the difference between ordinary and extraordinary! I have used veterinary hospitals in Florida, as well, and I have never had veterinarians, like Dr. Zehr and Dr. Blair. I would recommend Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital without exception.

Dr. Zehr and the entire staff have always been there for us in caring for our pet. They are all extremely caring and responsive. Very lucky to have them looking out for our little doggie.

I have used this practice for about 20 years- I have had lots of dogs and lived in lots of places therefore had lots of vets- never have I felt better about the care my dogs receive than with this staff. Dr. Don Zehr and staff are professional, compassionate and honest. I wouldn’t use anyone else in this area.

HVH is always the best!!!!

I started to taking my 1 year old American bulldog to them for a second opinion on some stomach issues my previous vet kept treating him for without any success. After one visit I saw significant improvement and now I am able to take him off of the vet prescribed food! The vets, vet techs and staff are kind and patient with me. But, the way they treat my energetic, very large and clumsy boy is why I keep going back. Everyone there takes their time with him and really tries to understand what is going on with my boy. He actually gets excited when we pull up to the clinic. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great care for you and your pet!

We moved to Hendersonville 4 1/2 years ago with our 2 dogs now 10 and 14 yrs. old. Our daughter recommended Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital and we have been extremely pleased with all 3 doctors and staff. We began going to Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital in 2004 when we adopted our first rescue dog. They provided care that was just wonderful for the 11 years she was with us, and are just as competent and wonderful with our new rescue who came with a lot of baggage. Dr Zehr and his team treat their patients (and the owners) with professional care, kindness, and compassion.

My dogs have been cared for by Doctor Zyer for better than 20 years and he he’s so thorough and caring we would be lost without him and Hendersonville veterinarian staff!!

They offer their opinions and advice, but allow you to make whatever decisions you feel are best for your pet without pressure or judgment.

Dr. Blair is always kind, patient and gentle. He never rushes us and takes the time to ask questions and answer ours as well.

The staff is always friendly and very caring! They take wonderful care of our pets!

Because I inadvertently gave two of my cats flea medicine for dogs instead of theirs, they ended up going to the vet as emergency patients. I think everything was done perfectly. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The kitties are fine now. We have been going here for years and will continue to do so.

Doctor Zehr and Doctor Blair are wonderful, caring, compassionate and loving with both of our fur babies (dogs). We have been going to the Hendersonville Veternarian Hospital since we moved here five years ago. Their Staff are all companionate, gentle, and caring. Our dogs are not ever afraid to go to the vet. I cannot say enough great things about the respect and kindness that the Drs and Staff show our fur babies and their human owners.

There is no way to concisely express my feelings for HVH. We have been with Dr ZEHR for over 30 years now and that’s a lot of furry creatures from kittens to Pyrenees. From a pup with a heart that sounded like “tennis balls in a dryer” that shouldn’t have made a year yet was kept happy for 9 years to a gentle giant with salivary gland carcinoma who’s life was saved and a pup who lost half his foot to cancer and wound finally healed with honey. The many emergency trips and the hundreds of calls were always handled with the utmost, knowledge, care and compassion. All of my fur family members have had the best of care. Whether it be the easiest of visits or a life threatening emergency Dr Zehr, Dr Blair and the entire staff are just wonderful.

Dr. Zehr guided us through my dog having puppies and Dr. Blair got us through a tough time that required 2 blood transfusions. ALL of their staff have been so good to me and the girls. I felt that they had true compassion, patience, and were fair in their price. Also, shout out to Tonya for breaking some of the more technical speak into layman's terms.

Our puppy Freya swallowed a corn cob. Dr. Slangal stayed late on Saturday to preform the surgery for us. She has gone above & beyond to care for our Freya and we are so pleased with all the staff. Very caring & friendly. They will have a long time customer with us. Highly recommend!
