I don’t take my corgi here but I wanted to leave a review because Andrea Danforth was my pets vet since 2020 and she is amazing. I go to VCA Foster Animal Hospital in New Jersey. We surely miss her!!!

I came here because it seemed to have good reviews and was close to where I lived. I took my kitten the week I got him and had 3 follow up appointments with multiple vaccines and was spending $150-200 each time all within 2 and a half months. A total of $550. The 2nd time I went I requested not to get topical flea treatment on my bill as my cat did not have fleas, is an indoor cat and is the only pet I have. They took it off that time but when I returned next time they listed the medication as heart worm medication. While this flea medication does also treat heart worms it was the same medication I requested not to have previously. It felt very manipulative. This annoyed me a lot when I realized later. Finally all 3 times I went I informed the doctor of my cats continuous sneezing. When I vocalized my concerns the doctor minimized my concern and assured me there could be many other causes other than illness, one being him getting into dust and dirt while exploring. This was pretty frustrating seeing that my cat has not stopped sneezing since I got him. I did NOT feel truly heard by the doctor and was very frustrated. You pay way too much for medication your animal doesn’t really need but never seem to get the proper care and treatment that they actually need. My cat currently has issues in his left eye. He is squinting, has discharge and can’t seem to open it all the way, his sneezing has also continued. It’s safe to say I will not be going to see Dr. Springs at VCA Blue Ridge Animal Hospital.

Had to bring my kitten in at the last minute for an emergency check up. I was not a client at the time and they took us in that morning. Very nice staff and took care of us.

I brought my 2 year old cat, Goose, to Blue Ridge today after he suddenly became very ill, and my own vet was booked. He was really sick when I arrived, and they took him right back. Each person there was kind, compassionate, and professional. Goose crossed the rainbow bridge, but I never for a moment doubted their care or kindness. I was a hot mess, in running clothes, no makeup, and tons of tears. Thank you, Blue Ridge, for helping me through this terrible day. We really appreciate you all! Love, Goose’s family

They don't care about the animals like other veterinarians I have had in the past. Its more about the job than doing the right thing

Employ named Allie or Ally answered the phone without introducing herself and was very rude! I was requested to transfer to the location from another VCA facility. Not a good first impression at all!

I had to wait a while to be seen for the first visit and I felt like I didn’t receive a valuable visit for the money I paid. The vet didn’t explain what exactly my dog had and it was quite frustrating. They were trying to automatically charge me for a vaccine that I didn’t want. For a basic visit it was pretty pricey especially given the fact the I didn’t talk to the vet more than a few moments. Overall I’m just disappointed and will not be returning. I only gave two stars for the vet tech because she explained more than the vet did.

Very caring Vets here at this Animal Hospital! Dr Springs was amazing!

I brought my 14 year old dog in last week knowing that he had reached the end of his journey. They treated him with compassion and care. Thank you for all that you did to help him.

I’ve taken my dog here for the past year. He has had to go through heart worm treatment and several others things. Through the entire process and every single appointment they have brought me an estimate of treatment, however, when the appointment is complete it has been increased and additional charges have been added that weren’t there originally. There were even a few times when I inquired about the unfamiliar charges that they said “Sorry, we didn’t do that. We will remove it.” Nice people and they seem knowledgeable but when it comes to pricing and billing they seam high and very sketchy. I wouldn’t recommend but if you do use these guys, make sure you inquire about every single little charge. They are likely over charging you.

So far they have done pretty good with my cat niko. They are pretty efficient with thier wait times for regular drop offs and pick up as well.

This place was exceptional. Had an emergency with my dog and they got us right in and I was shocked at how affordable the care was. With Covid, they have you wait outside and come get your pet from the car and you wait outside. The staff was helpful and pleasant to work with.

I always loved Dr.Patch but I found my forever vet when I became a bully mom in VCA..Thanks a million for loving my fur baby just like I do..

I absolutely love these guys. They know what they're doing and they genuinely love animals. Also all of the staff, from the receptionists to the doctors are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to provide the best help and support possible. They are very thorough with their exams and they will talk you through what's going on without speaking a different language lol. I trust the guys with the lives of my pets and they have never let me down. If, it's your first time using these guys as a vet, tell them that I recommended them to you, and you can get a discount on your first visit.

The really care about the animals they take care of, and we appreciate their COVID precautions in place. Every person we've interacted with has been pleasant to work with, and very good at communicating.

The doctor is friendly and knowledgeable but their prices are way to high!! They try to keep you coming back for “check-ups” but they charge a lot for each one. I would recommend going somewhere else if you’re budget conscious.
