Friendly staff, everyone took their time when seeing us and our cat. No one seemed rushed to move on to the next patient.

We love taking our pup here. Everyone is so kind and understanding. Our bulldog loves the entire staff so much and we trust them; it can be hard to find a good vet that understands bulldog needs and the whole staff does a fantastic job, and doesn’t judge us (at least to our faces lol) when we call or come in for ‘small’ things. I’ve never been to a vet that texts to follow up and make sure everything is all good so that’s a huge plus. I don’t have or like cats but i love how DIAH does days in office just for cats to make the process easier for fur babes and parents. 10/10 have recommended to people that don’t even have pets. We love y’all!!!!

I have been taking my golden here for 3.5 years. When I call to make an appointment they act like I am an inconvenience for calling. I guess they have enough patients and do not need to keep the current ones.

I started taking my dog to this vet in June of 2020. After countless allergy related issues, the vet suggested I switch my dog's food(the food they recommended I feed him to begin with). I tried the new food they recommended and it only made my dog's issues worse. When I explained he was not happy with the food and continued to have diarrhea (after switching him to the new food over the timespan of a few WEEKS) they told me to continue with the food and charged me money for more medicine that did nothing. He eventually quit eating all together and when that happened the vet suggest I feed him beef and rice. I had him on beef and rice for a month before I switched him back to his original food that he would barely touch. The medicine didn't help nor did the food they suggested. I moved vets and immediately the new vet was able to identify a food allergy problem and give me prescription food that my dog loves! He has no more issues and the vet was in shock that the Daniel Island vets did not pick up on his issues. She knew he had these issues after just 2 quick visits, which is absurd compared to my 20+ appointments with Daniel Island Animal Hospital and thousands, yes THOUSANDS of dollars spent. I felt abused by the vets at this location as they continued to charge me for medicine and tests that didn't help when another vet quickly found a solution. At one point got an overdue bill from the DI vet. When I called asking about the bill they told me I picked the medicine up and I hadn't paid for it. I explained that this was impossible because I was in a different state on the day "I" picked this medicine up. I do not recommend taking your pets here. They were not helpful and wasted my money and time. For the DI vets, I got married and changed my name. So you can find me in your system, it's Bailey Tims.

I'm new to Charleston and had a sweet 15-year old kitty. Her health decline rapidly a couple days ago and she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. For the short time I've been here, Daniel Island Animal Hospital treated me and my fur baby with such compassion and kindness. The vet always explained everything in terms that I could understand and I never felt rushed or that I couldn't ask a million questions. I highly recommend. To the entire staff: thank you for taking such great care of my old girl in her final months.

They have a lot of expertise and really care for your pet. A close relative worked with Doctor Parrot for a few years and she's excellent...still take our fur family to see her for regular check-ups.

This Vet Clinic is convenient, well staffed and very accommodating. Just moved here and was accepted right away and my dog was given great treatment. We flowed the first visit with dental work for our dog. The follow up and care were among the best we’ve experienced. Our vet, Dr Parrott, did the work and we would recommend her to anyone.

We take our two dogs all the way from James Island to visit this vet. Everyone on the staff is incredibly kind and you can tell they love animals. We tried to find a vet on our side of town after moving and had an experience with someone on James Island that we sensed was trying to make us spend a little more $$ than necessary on our healthy boys. The staff here is thorough and honest and I have never felt ripped off. I always feel like they have my pets best interest at heart.

Knowledgeable and friendly veterinarian who take amazing care of my pup and treat it as if it was their own. I don't feel like they try to push unnecessary treatments but make sure your pet is well cared for.

Took my kitty Emma here to get her vaccines. I called the morning of at 8:40 and the receptionist got me in at 9:15. I was put in a room specifically for cats which I loved being that she hates dogs. The tech came in I believe her name was Callie and sat down on the floor with me as she asked me questions I liked that she got down eye level with me and not towering over me. She was very knowledgeable and nice. I saw Dr Hosking and he was great. He was very gentle with Emma and spent the time to answer the questions that I had. I will definitely be back for her next set of shots. I was in and out in less then a half hour.

We really like it here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and my dog is not afraid of going there. They are also helpful when I call for advice as well as when we need to come in on short notice. The wellness visits have been consistently stress-free for us humans as well as the dog. It's a great little neighborhood spot.

These people killed my dog. I had a beautiful bichon. It went in for a routine teeth cleaning and came out dead. The animal hospital did little to make it up to me.

We've taken both of our dogs there since 2010 and have always received excellent service. From losing Roxie in 2015, they were amazing, gentle and caring as we they put her to sleep due to her illness. We received a beautiful card and her paw print in a clay ornament back then and still have it to this day. Our new dog of 4 years so far has also been treated well every time she visits. We will continue to visit for years to come!

I just moved to the island and my cat Missy ended up having an abscessed tooth. From the first visit to the end result of the tooth extraction, they had Missy’s health as the priority. I didn’t feel pressure to do extra tests or misc products. Dr. Flood and the front desk staff were courteous and compassionate. I really feel the love they have for their pet patients. Thank you so much!
