This is the Banfield closest location me, but for past the 1 1/2 years I am unable to get an appointment for my dog on a reasonable waiting time, it is always at least 3-4 weeks away. I pay $70/mo for their insurance and when I need treatment I need to drive 18 miles to another branch. If they have been so busy for the last 1 1/2 years they should hire more vets to keep up with the demand.

Very disappointed. The vet on staff this particular day was rude and unhelpful. He stated that our cost at pick up would 160 and we paid 290 at the time of pick up. The wellness plan is garbage and does nothing for pets when they need actual medical attention. NO one seems to know what they are doing and we can never get a straight answer about anything.

The Banfield (Two Notch Rd) is not what I expected. My dog had surgery to remove two masses. They never did a follow-up call. The mass was not sent off to the pathologist until three wks later after my five phone calls to them. This location is slack. I'm so disappointed at the lack of service and care that has been given. It's ridiculous.

Have been using Petsmart Grooming for years. I always book with the same groomer, Miss Liz. She does an excellent job, no matter what haircut I select. Today's was the best! Thank you Liz!

I can't say enough good things about the staff here at the Two Notch location. When our elderly dog took a turn for the worse and our regular vet was closed, this was the only clinic in town who worked us in for an emergency euthanasia on a late Saturday afternoon. Putting down a 17 year long family member is never an easy thing, but the staff here made it as manageable and quick as possible. They took us right in, the vet tech and vet were compassionate and had nothing but empathy for us. I have always had reservations about using vet care provided by a clinic in a big box pet store, but their truly professional care for us and our senior ailing dog calmed my fears. Their prices are more than what my regular vet would have charged for the same service, but in this situation I didn't mind paying. Thank you Banfield for helping our fur baby cross over the Rainbow Bridge quickly and painlessly.

I’ll be honest something really has to impress me or be really wrong before I right a review. My puppy is 2 1/2 years old and I’ve used Banfield from the beginning. My pup and I originated from Savannah and recently moved to Columbia. I was on the wellness program all the way up till the pandemic and unfortunately I had to cut corners. My pup had gotten all his shots up till pandemic. I took my pup to the Columbia branch (Spring Valley) and all though the front desk (Rachel) was helpful I was totally disappointed and unless in Savannah I do not plan on returning to Banfield for service. I understand with the pandemic the rules have changed but the service was mediocre, my bill was over $400 dollars, not clear instructions, no overview of what occurred, had to ask for documentation that is normally provided, no direct appointment and services not completed until I arrived after they held him for 4 hours and provided services in 10 minutes. My dog obviously had not received water because he scarfed done a whole bowl in the car. No consultation regarding shots, fecal exam, checking anal glands. Absolutely nothing. I was told I didn’t have pay right then they would charge me when they had the notes in system. After calling back twice because medicine was not what I was told and no consultation of completed services I was told the vet would call me if there was anything I needed to know. My pup is my world and I realize with the world in the situation it is things have changed but this visit was not acceptable and I will not be returning. Maybe I was spoiled on the exceptional service I received in Savannah but I believe standards with the pandemic or not should be the same. My dog has been very lethargic since we’ve been home and truly believe it was not a good visit for him. My pup is 100 pounds and the vet (when I did speak to him for a minute) acted as if he could handle him. My dog is a gentle giant and does act up at all. My confidence is the service he received is below par. I truly hate to have to post this but feel it’s necessary because it was unacceptable. Thank you Savannah Banfield and unfortunately there are other offices not providing the same service. Very sad....

We recently moved to the area from out of state. Although we have visited the boney store before, this was Gretchen's first trip to establish a doctor. The staff was amazing! Everyone welcomed her and made sure we understood what they would be doing during that visit. We also signed up for a care plan since she is mid-aged and we know dental cleaning is going to be necessary! Great Team!

Very poor treatment! Was denied service when I attempted to bring in a puppy to be examined. I have the OWP and wanted to use the general exam option. Was told to call the emergency hospital.... I called in at 10am on a Tuesday. This is rip off and I will not be using this service going forward. It is better to just go to a regular local vet office for better service.

They treat my pets well but they went in today for just a drop-off checkup at 9:30am and I was told they won't be done until around 4pm.

Went there today with two of our dogs. Both of our dogs had low kidney levels which were caused by dehydration, even though we have plenty of water around the house for them. One of the vets accused us of not providing our dogs water on two occasions (over phone and in person). When we tried to talk to the vet about this accusation, he spoke over us and dismissed us completely. Very rude service. The women working at the front desk however were very kind and understanding.

The team members are pet and people friendly. They walk you through your pet's appointment step-by-step. I felt valued as a customer and I was comfortable with them taking my service dog back to the exam room without me.

I stopped there to get a prescription dog food. I went there when I saw there website said they now carry it. Cool. It's on my way home. It's a prescription. So of course I need a prescription to buy it. Didn't have the prescription in hand. Called. They said, " come on by. We can call your vet to verify. " Stopped by after work. The food sitting out on the shelf. Walked up grabbed it. Went to checkout. At the banfield check out. Not the regular cashier. They asked for the prescription. Gave them my vets name. They said, so. I said, I just called not ten minutes ago and was told you would need to call my vet to verify. That's all I needed. She said, no. You need a prescription in hand. I put the food back for them. Went to my vet's office. Only 20 minutes out the way. Its $14 cheaper at the vet's anyway.

Lack of knowledge and poor customer service skills makes this location a poor choice for veterinarian services. Though I enjoyed Dr. Katta and two of the technicians. The rest of the employees are eye rolling, rude, and disrespectful. Save yourself the hassle and pay a little extra for great customer service elsewhere. I know I will once my plan expires.

The front desk staff has a problem every month with my dog's medicine. It comes in two forms and the preferred form is a smaller caplet which is easier to swallow. I call 1 week in advance for the caplets to be ordered. I call again to make sure it is in and available for pickup, each time stressing the caplets form due to prior mixup. Yesterday, I went in to purchase the meds that were ordered. First I was told they did not have the meds. When I told them I had called less than an hour prior and confirmed they had them. She went in the back, said everything was ok, rang it up. I took the meds out of the bag, and it was WRONG again. Finally, it was all straightened out but why is this so difficult. We do like out dog's new vet, Dr. Kadhim, or this eating would be lower. Sorry for the long post.
