The team here is AMAZING! My dog Watson hates the vet- but loves the attention & care they give him! From trimming his nails, expressing his glands & full exams they are always able to get him in on short notice. I love the team!

A little pricey compared to some vets outside of the city but they always give the best care for our dog. We have been going here for about 4 years and had 1 major surgery that they handled very well with a great recovery.

I have left a review here before some years ago and I'm regretting going with my first impression of this vet and taking my pets elsewhere. Katie is a horrible technician that should of never stated that we never called the hospital without checking with her staff Teresa and Gia. We have documentation as far as emails and voicemails stating when we called just to be given a call back from Katie stating that we never called. We needed to order our pets medication from Chewy and they constantly gave us back and forth actions such as signing documentation that never worked when we received the email, to giving verbal permission over the phone (which we did) to Katie calling us saying we never even called and then denying our pets their medication. We have dealt with Dr. Watson and Dr. Fine with our pets before and they have properly taken care of them however Katie needs more training because due to her "expertise" we are taking all 3 of our dogs to another vet. My dog personally has been with this vet since he was a puppy he is now 3 years old and I have had my partner bring her 2 dogs here. This vet has turned bad especially during the pandemic, they have become more money hungry and have not upheld customer service standards. The constant lies about calling customers back, the failure to communicate within the staff, and the poor responsiveness when it has came to our pets have led us to leave and never recommend this place to anyone.

My fur babies and I love Dr. Watson. He is so sweet to them during his exam. Talks to them so they relax and so their not as scared.

Saved my dogs life, only vet to tell me to stop all medications because my dog was suspected overdosed. Thankful to the doctors here!

I can’t help but think Dr Watson and his staff are at a minimum at least partially responsible for the death of our dog Phoenix who was boarded with them last week. We received a call that Phoenix had bloat on Friday and that he needed emergency surgery. I told them to do whatever needed to be done. But while in their care he (#1) more than likely was allowed to eat or drink too quickly (#2) they did not recognize he had bloat until it was too late (#3) Dr Watson did not perform the surgery. Rather he wasted precious time by taking him to another animal hospital. I have boarded my pets with them for peace of mind that if something happened while I was gone they would be able to handle it. But they were not able to do so. Not one person from their office has called to check on Phoenix and I’m sure this is how they are finding out he passed away. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I feel others should be warned in this situation.

We use Carolina's Vet for our dog Auzzie. They take great care of him. When he is boarded, he forgets about us and runs straight in. Thanks!

I have an older dog who is still an athlete and has torn both of her ACLs in the last 3 years. Dr. Wright has done both of her knee surgeries and his work is excellent. Dr. Wright and his staff are first rate and have taken great care of Lizzie. He truly cares about his patients and the quality of care at this clinic is second to none.

Due to covid you have to wait in your car. Let them know when you get there by calling them. They are not slow and not fast either. Everyone is nice.

Staff and Vets are the best around. We moved further away from here but refuse to take our dog anywhere but here. Always flexible and friendly and full of love.

Dr. Watson and his entire team provided exceptional care to our cats! Although we were just passing through town on our way overseas with the military, Dr. Watson completed the required exams and paperwork, even identifying an issue with one of our cats that could potentially have been a problem in the near future. We highly recommend this clinic and will use their services again when we are back in town.

This maybe a long story...bear with me My Shih Tzu Toby jumped out of the door of our RV, he landed on his shoulder and screamed with pain. Limping, shaking, screaming I rushed him to an emergency pet hospital that was open. They determined nothing was broken and prescribed pain pills. 5 days later he still had no relief and I was panicking thinking he was dying on me. I looked online and found Carolinas Veterinary Medical Hospital and saw that they specialized in orthopedics, sent them a email begging for help. The staff responded within the hour, told me to bring him right him. Toby saw Dr. O’Hara and I can’t say enough good things about this man. He literally checked every bone, joint in his body for pain and sure enough he damaged a nerve or something in his neck. I don’t know exactly what he did, I’m thinking a chiropractic adjustment or something, whatever it was, it was a miracle! I took him home, continued new pain meds and by morning he was like a new dog! I literally can’t believe the change. I’m truly blessed to have found this place! Oh, I’m not through, when I went to pay my bill, they refused payment, said the first visit was free! I can’t believe I had already dropped a few thousand dollars and was prepared to pay more, but they wouldn’t let me! I Highly Recommend this Hospital! The staff are warm and caring! The doctor was so professional and I felt so confident in his abilities! I can’t say enough good things about them!

I’ve been going to Carolinas Vet Med Hospital for years and Dr. Watson is one of the best vets I’ve ever had. He is experienced, compassionate, and knowledgeable in all the latest technology. The office staff and Vets Techs are so kind and professional and always treat my pets as family. I highly recommend this Vet Practice.

For over 15 years Dr. Watson has cared for our pets. I trust his opinions. The level of care given at this clinic is the best I have seen.

It's a pet hospital so it seems as if they want to get as much money as possible whether thats through the extra medicine they give your pet or the issues that they say your pet have after a visit, when your pet is just fine at home up until they take them in the back for "examination". The staff is friendly however I believe they start to get over at some point which isn't fair to the loyal patients that they have. I'm considering moving my pup to another vet.

K-Laser Therapy, Dr. Watson and his team, have provided a quality of life for my Bella (13 yr old, German Shepard, who is riddled with arthritis) I could have only dreamed of at this point in life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND K-LASER THERAPY. I saw the difference in Bella's ability to walk and stand up almost immediately. Thank you for always taking such great care of Bella and her sister Luna (11 yr old, black cat).

The staff and doctors here are very friendly and professional. I had a 17-year-old cat that had been sick in my previous vet had never diagnosed him. Since he’s had his surgery he has gained 4 pounds! They’re Wonderful!

Always happy to see them and we feel like we are at home, they know my dogs by name, even when they are not in the office and we found them on the street, they still know our names and our dogs names, we love them.... DR WATSON ROCKS!!!

I love CVMH. My two poms have been 'patients' here for the 2.5 years I have lived in Charlotte. CVMH has taken such loving care of my pups, from general healthcare, to complex surgery. The other day one of the techs handed my pom to me and kissed his head as she did. It was so sweet and genuine, it really impressed me. I unreservedly, and enthusiastically recommend CVMH.
