My Mini Dachshund puppy, Rafa, had an awesome experience at The Wag Factory in SC. We visited this location during Thanksgiving week and we dropped off Rafa the night before Thanksgiving (can’t drop off the day of per The Wag Factory’s policy on holidays). Rafa stayed 4 days and 5 nights and made new dog friends. We could watch him play on a video camera to a website on our phones and computers. We paid a small amount extra for pupsicles each day and a wash before pickup. We also paid for food for the facility each day. I think the pricing was very reasonable and I would definitely use this again! The staff was friendly and gave great customer service.

The best doggy daycare with the friendliest staff who are clearly passionate about what they do. So happy I chose this one and I know my pup is too.

After previously boarding here, I called a week before the time I was requesting a reservation to board on a week day during business hours and also emailed to cover my bases of contact since the phones are set straight to voicemail (red flag if my dog was already boarding and I wanted to check on her). I never heard back and finally decided to ride over and request boarding in person. We live in West Ashley and didn't mind how out of the way this place was for us because of the service we'd previously received. When I showed up in person, there was no reason given as to why our call or email had not been returned five days prior-- even after clarifying that it was in fact sent to the email that was checked more frequently (staff vs info @wagfactory). All of this and they were booked during the beginning window of time for which we needed reservations that I feel sure would have been accommodating had communication been returned timely instead of not at all. I wouldn't board or daycare here if your comfort level is anything above no communication from drop off to pick up.

We have had such good luck at Wag for both daycare and boarding. Out lab loves being part of the Wag Pack! The staff here loves the dogs like they are their own. Marco comes home good and tired and I feel like he's in a safe place where he is loved and taken care of while I'm at work.

This place is great. We stayed in town to get married so we had all kinds of running around to do. Rather than stress the dog out, we took her to the wag factory. She had a blast and we even got to "stalk" her occasionally via webcam. It was great. Like watching puppy Oz, without the violence. That's not a very good analogy. More like watching Muppet Babies. We will definitely be back in the future!

It was nice to have my pet with me down by the beach with the opportunity to be able to get her but I didn't get to see or tour the facility and there were a lot of up charges if I wanted my dog to be played with or to play with other dogs and finally my dog came home with kennel cough which cost me more money

We are traveling the country and had chosen Wag Factory because of the ratings. I made reservations for my 2 dogs and a friends 2 dogs for the one day we would be in Charleston. A few days before the reserved day, I received a notification to rate my experience. I called immediately and left a message to please confirm the correct date. They never called back. I called twice more and still no response. My friend then called and they answered. They still had her reservation, but not mine. But, they were insisting on a five hour assessment the day before our reserved date, costing $40. We were not going to get into town until mid afternoon, so that was not possible. We have left our dogs in day care at several locations across the country and this is the first one that required an assessment. So we are not able to enjoy Charleston, because it was too short notice to get our dogs in elsewhere. What really bothered me is that they didn't respond to my query. Apparently, they had just lost some staff and changed their days of operation, but did not inform us of the changes until my friend called. Not a good way to do business.

I love this place! They cut my pups nails and did a fantastic job. He has very long nails and they need grinding. I’ve had a difficult time finding places to cut his nails they always hurt him or don’t cut them enough,so this was a true blessing. ???????????????? I’m so grateful we found this place.????

Been taking our dog Maya to Wag Factory for about 6 mos now, give or take. And oh my gosh, is she a different dog when she gets to go to daycare. She’s a husky with a ton of energy, and they embrace her. She has the best time. We also have used WF for boarding, and our other 4 dogs love it also. I love the staff there, and they have made us and our dogs feel comfortable from day 1!

We stayed at James Island County Park for 10 days. Wag factory was the perfect answer to the big questions we had. How can we go touring, visiting, and feasting without the limitations of bringing our 10 month old lab? Once he passed the test for compataility, we were free to plan or go somewhere on a whim. Open 7 days from 7am to 7pm. Checked on him frequently via the web cams. He was happy and pleasantly tired when we picked him up. Highly recommend the Wag Factory.

We have visited and tried out several doggie day cares and doggie boarding companies around Charleston, but none of them match up to Wag Factory. Not only is it centrally located by being on James Island, their staff is friendly and professional, and I know for certain my pups are getting the best care possible. They include cameras to all the play yards (password protected for privacy) so you can keep an eye on your pups throughout the day. Even when boarding and opting to not include doggie daycare, your pups aren't left alone in their kennel all day - the staff is constantly rotating the dogs out to let them do their business and stretch their legs. Our pups are always utterly exhausted after even a single day at daycare (a huge plus!). I highly recommend Wag Factory, whether you need a daycare or a place to board!

I have a 115 pound bloodhound. I have tried to get him into Doggie Daycare to other places on James Island. They do not except large dogs size. The Wagfactory does and they loved him and he loved them. They knew exactly how to deal with bloodhounds because they have dealt with them before. He was happy and tired when he cane back home! He had a good time and he was well cared for. I’ve already got an appointment to go back again. Thank you Wagfactory!

This place is incredible! My go to doggy daycare when staying in Charleston. The friendliest dog loving staff are always there to greet our pup Seba and put our minds at ease so we can enjoy our beach days. Seba always comes back happy and TIRED! from a day of play. Wag Factory rocks!

As a neighbor, the dogs are miserablly loud— the workers who scream at the dogs are even worse.

Super friendly staff & the best in town with dogs. Our dog is wary of new people & he loves them! Brooke is the best groomer we’ve met in 10 years. Check them out!

The best place to bring your pet. The staff is friendly and facility is very clean. They are honest and keep you in the loop with your pets behaviors. Will always bring my pet to Wag Factory

Absolutely love this place! Wonderful staff, great value, and the live feed allowing you to watch your pup at any time of the day is a nice touch.

We boarded my sons 2 dogs over the weekend in late October. They were well taken care of, and were extremely well behaved and tired out when we returned to pick them up. I would recommend this facility any time you can’t have your fur baby with you. Thanks Wag Factory.

My dog loves doggie day care at the wag factory! Every time we walk in, they greet my pup by name with so much enthusiasm and love! They act genuinely excited to see her when we walk in the door, which makes me feel really comfortable leaving her in their hands. I have not used boarding services- but would highly recommend for daycare and grooming.

This was a great place to take my dog for daycare. It was easy to fill out an online application and email her vaccination records. When we arrived I could tell right away that all of the employees loved dogs. The dogs being groomed and picked up seemed happy. They have four web cams showing their daycare rooms, with three people monitoring the dogs at all times. Highly recommended.

The idea is great but my Weimaraner contracted a cough/pneumonia from here. Its cost me $1,500 thus far and he's still not better. I was unsure he was even going to survive. In fact if it wasn't for a one special Veterinarian taking her personal time to come out and aggressively treat my dog via IV Antibiotics he might not be alive right now. He was that bad! Two other Vetrinarians did nothing for him.

The staff is amazing and truly care about the dogs. Petunia is so excited to get through the door in the morning to be greeted enthusiastically by all her friends. The owner knew I was nervous the first time she was boarded a few years ago and went out of the way to call and let me know she was doing just fine. They are kind, caring, and attentive. Highly recommend!

My dog got snippy with another groomer so I tried Wag Factory. They were able to get her all taken care of without any issue. Thanks!!
