They are the best! Wouldn’t trust any of my fur babies to anyone else. The whole staff is knowledgeable, professional, caring and loving. Dr. Hughes has treated all my babies with the best care. Love this place.

After the unexpected loss of my previously healthy, beloved 12yr old dog. I switched my other dog and two new shelter dogs to this vet and we couldnt be happier. We have seen two vets so far in this practice and they were so kind, responsive and seem to have genuine concern for the animals they treat. So refreshing after my last vet couldnt be bothered to even return a phone call after my dog was dying and hemorrhaging in the emergency vet due to his negligence, and laziness. The staff is wonderful, the office is well taken care of. The doctors return your phone calls soon and dont act like you are bothering them. They spend time with you and address all of your concerns about your pets and offer solutions to help you. They dont make you come for unnecessary visits or charge ridiculous amounts for basic care. If there were a 10 star I would give it. I only wish I had found them sooner to care for my other dog before it was too late. If you have a vet who isnt listning to you, please dont wait, find someone like this practice who isnt too busy to provide the care your animals (family) need and deserves.

My dogs are anxious and not very nice at the vet. The staff is wonderful. So glad I found them.

I had to put down my 18 yr old cat Barney. He was declining due to his age. It was so difficult and extremely sad for me to do. Dr Mefford and the staff were so compassionate and kind. I highly recommend this vet.

The Doctors here truly care and love my animals. They take the time to listen and make the best medical decisions for them. The staff always greet us with a friendly smile and are professional. The Animal Hospital at Liberty is a class act and the best vet in Anderson.

In love with this place. We have two rescues, 7 and 8 years old. Our previous vet was not friendly, thorough, or interested in either of our dogs (didn't even ask for their names). This place is the complete opposite. Donna at the front desk and the vets are so friendly and thorough, and trustworthy. I am so relieved we switched to this place. Newer, clean facilities, great layout of the office, friendly staff. Rosie is already feeling better!

I love all the vets and vet techs here and so do both of my dogs! I know my dogs are taken care of here. I just wish they would start boarding again!

I needed a new vet after a bad experience at another place and The Animal Hospital at Liberty Hwy made the transition easy and very welcoming. They fit me into a cancelled appointment time within a week and the service and care for my puppy is excellent. They are extremely clean inside and take appropriate covid precautions!

Our family has been going to this vet's office for ~4 years now, ever since we moved to the upstate SC area, first with our two beloved cats, "Nala" and "Katniss" and now that we've added a dog to our family, "Zoë" goes there, too. All of the amazing professionals who work here are incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of pet-related healthcare issues, while still making office visits a pleasure by being so friendly and compassionate, too - and best of all, the prices are very reasonable, as well. For those reasons, I highly recommend them to all of our friends with furbabies, & to anyone else who may be seeking quality veterinary care in the area (and I can promise that you won't be needing to take out a second mortgage just to afford it when the bill comes in!) This a a very well run Veterinary clinic. The Drs. And Staff are enthusiastic and kind. The only thing that is a drawback is that they are reluctant to recommend foods, medicines or equipment. You are steadily steered towards buying from the clinic, and they resist making recommendations for items that can be bought at a fraction of the cost they will ask. I paid 24 dollars for 4 cans of dog food that retail for $1.89 each at Bi-Lo.

I really enjoyed there service they were more worried about taking care of my dog than getting the money I tried to pay but they told me to wait for pick up then pay that was really nice of them i loved there service and they have payment anes to hp u

Dr. Hughes was very caring and attentive to my dogs issues. He did a very thorough exam, addressed every issue to my satisfaction, and the cost was very reasonable. I am happy that we have a vet like Dr. Hughes in Anderson, it makes me feel at ease knowing that he is only a phone call away.
