Magnolia has been my dogs’s vet since 2000. They have always been very caring, professional and given all my pets expert medical care.

The wait is long unless you go early in the morning. I had to go back the next day also. I was very pleased with the vet that my dog saw on the second day, not so much for the vet on Saturday. Overall I would say this is a place that I would return to if needed.

Magnolia is a blessing to have available for pet owners and their pet emergencies as it is open until midnight and will not turn you and your pet away. The doctors and assistants are great at what they do .. and staff is very good as well. They helped my 15 year old chiwhawau (Trixie) get out of a rough coughing spell by providing excellent diagnosis for her and providing a good treatment plan. Thanks to all at Magnolia!

The NICEST and most caring staff! I couldn't get over how friendly and professional everyone was despite being a very busy day! Definitely thankful I found them!

I had to take my dear cat in an emergency situation. They took her back quickly and let me know the results in a timely manner. Dr. Long was very compassionate when explaining her terminal diagnosis. He offered an alternative treatment with realistic expectations. I ended up deciding to let her go at that time but, I cannot express how much he made the tragic process as easy as possible.

I came to Magnolia Vet for emergency services since it was recommended by a friend. I called prior to leaving and was told the wait time was approximately 30 mins. My dog and I arrived about 7:15 and they said that the wait shouldn’t be that long. I noticed several other people coming in after me. I then waited in the car due to my dog not doing well with others. After an hour passed, I went to ask when we would be seen. The receptionist almost looked surprised like I should’ve already been seen. I then noticed the entire lobby had been cleared and even the people arriving after me had been seen. At that point I was slightly annoyed. Finally they get us 30 mins later and a vet tech asked some initial questions. The vet tech was great, and informed me the vet would see us shortly. It was approximately 8:45-9 at this point. My dog and I waited and waited. No one ever came to see us and after another hour and 15 mins passed, I told them I was leaving for another vet. Not only were they not urgent, they were far from professional. The staff sounded like they were having an office party in the back talking about tv shows, streaming services, and anything that could be counted as an office “water cooler talk”. After what sounded like “I could snort pre workout all the time”, I was furious and had to leave. I told someone working there that I was leaving since we were left in the room for over an hour and no one came. Once again, she looked extremely surprised, as though they should’ve checked in on us a while ago. I do thank the lady because she did go back there and they refunded the emergency vet fee. Apart from that and the really friendly receptionists, this establishment lacks any sense of urgency and they don’t realize just how thin those doors are to their treatment area. There are certainly friendlier, more professional and urgent emergency vets out there, however, this is not one of them. After leaving this place and going to another emergency vet, I arrived at 10:45, they took my info and got my dog at 11:30. Had a treatment plan and asked what all I wanted from it without being pushy and had us on our way a little after midnight.

Brought in a rescue pup with parvo, they were able to save her! Every single staff member I had an experience with was amazing!! The Dr was so helpful and informative of everything I could do on my end to help. They also provided me with several cost solutions to cover the expenses. So grateful for them. Many thanks from Pepper and myself!!

My dog was extremely sick and the staff treated her as if she was just under the weather. My dog was losing large amounts of blood and the only thing they treated her for was diarrhea. They did not provide adequate treatment or correct prescriptions. I had to get a second opinion from another clinic which actually provided the care my pet needed. I am extremely disappointed with this so called “prestigious” clinic. Considering their prices you would expect their care to be better. Also the receptionist is extremely rude and tries to answer medical questions instead of allowing you to speak with the vet. I will never recommend this place and I will make sure to tell everyone i know to never take their animals here.

I have said it time and time again, I would never go to this place again. Yet I find myself tonight in an emergency and had to go there. First of all, the fact that they charge you $160 just to walk in the door without asking any questions about your animal is insane. Then to have the dog in the room for 7-10 mins and come back out and charge $288 more for some medicine is insane. $400 for a 10 minute visit and some dewormer. They do not care about your animal, ONLY THE MONEY

I’ve been there 3 times in the past month for what the vet was calling an autoimmune disorder. $600 later we found out the itching was due to fleas. This place will rip you off. Hendrix is a way better option. I hope everyone that works here DAGTH

The staff is wonderful! We have been going to them for years and this past weekend, we need them in an emergency. The staff was so very kind and patient with us.

This is the second time we have had to take our lab Jake in for an emergency visit. Both times I had Dr A. He saved Jake for the second time. Magnolia and the Dr’s and all the Techs have always taken care of us when we have our pets there. It doesn’t always turn out how one wants as our beloved Yoshi couldn’t be saved a year ago but what they did to make it easier for us was something we very much appreciated. They are always upfront with what the bill could be and they respect your wishes on how you want to handle things. They are top notch and I couldn’t ask for a better hospital. Thanks Dr A!

The staff at Magnolia is caring and go above and beyond for your family. I can’t say enough good things about Dr A. While some may think the cost is high I would say you get what you pay for, if you want people you can trust Magnolia is your place.

This veterinarian was the single worst animal hospital I have ever been to in my life. They misdiagnosed and refused to write down my cat’s symptoms in her charts. They told me my seven month old cat was actually 4/5 years old, pregnant, and that she could give birth at any moment. They said that they detected heartbeats of the kittens, and that her bloody discharge was normal and expected. They then convinced me to spend another few hundred dollars to get an x-ray done to see the ‘kittens’. Nothing came up. It only worsened over the next few days, and if I hadn’t taken her to another animal hospital, she would have passed away from pyometra. It took the other veterinarian a matter of minutes to diagnose it, and she was treated that day. They said it was very severe, though thankfully I took her there in time. After her surgery, they confirmed no signs of a pregnancy. I reached out to Magnolia to get to the bottom of it, and after multiple attempts to get in touch with someone, all I got was dismissed and told that there was nothing they could do to correct this problem. Do not take your animal here. Magnolia also failed to inform me that her test results showed signs of worms, as well as failing to vaccinate her for rabies even though it is required by law as she was a stray at the time. They will not take care of them, and will treat you like an idiot. I am out multiple hundreds of dollars for treatments that could have killed my cat. Please listen to these reviews and take your pet elsewhere.

Quick response to an after hours Emergency. Not sure why we couldn't come in with our baby though....

Dr. A and his team saved my kitten's life after my dog attacked him and gave him a life-threatening injury. They worked a miracle in surgery and after a difficult healing process, you can't even tell he was ever on the brink of death. My kitten was more than just a number here. Dr. A and his team actually cared about his well being and were excited to see his progress. I highly recommend them!

Things have changed here. There are still some great doctors and staff but there are also some whose care and communication is concerning.

Leaving now after sitting in the parking lot for over an hour. I am 75 and was refused admittance when I requested to come in to use the restroom. I was told to go to QT and call when I got back. A true example of horrible customer service. We are going to Greenville.

Magnolia took wonderful care of our Cherry. They were great at providing us with updates while she had to stay over the weekend with them. She is now doing great and I thank Magnolia for the great care they provided her.

Worst experience. Last time we took my dog here after he was attacked I had to yell through the door and all they were worried about was payment. Even though I had cash in hand. This time when he was attacked again all they were worried about was money again. After paying over the phone, we waited over 20 minutes without hearing anything. After stopping someone in the parking lot we were then told they didn't know when they could come out to look at him. We will not be back. We wen to Oasis and have been treated like they care.

Thankful to Magnolia Vet Hospital for being supportive & caring for our older dog who passed away at home this morning. They were so helpful with decision making. Made a hard process easier. I don't feel like they get enough credit. Thank you to the staff.

I moved to SC in March 2018 and was in search of a good vet close by and with reasonable prices for my 2 rescues. Well I found Magnolia and I have been coming to them since then. They have always taken great care of my cats and even some of the strays I have brought into them as well. They always provided my animals with excellent care and they are very healthy today. Both my indoor rescues and the strays outside. I highly recommend them.

Do not take your beloved pet to this vet. They do not care and have no sympathy. They are unprofessional and mis-diagnosed my dog. Which costs me more money. This place is only about money they do not care about your pets. They also refuse to service you for no reason and allow their staff to be rude or refuse services to you. Go ahead and drive to Greenville as its way worth it. This place needs to shut down; i do not see how they have been in business this long. Trying to warn people so please listen. I am horrified at how i was treated and i had to lay my dog down. After they told me he would fully recover. I spent over $1300 when they should have been able to properly diagnose and find that he was paralyzed. They only want your money.

"pay now, maybe you'll get service later" My dog was in extreme pain with a back issue and we waited in the car for 3 hours without a single update from them. Don't worry though, they made sure to charge me almost $200 when I first got there. I called after two hours and they said we were next, waited another hour and they said they just had an emergency show up to which they didn't know how long it would take. Apparently we weren't a big enough priority to be seen in the three hours prior to that. Do not go here if you actually need help unless you and your pet have all day to sit around and wait. Maybe you can enjoy listening to them cry in pain while you wait, it helps pass the time. They did give me a refund but I would much rather have my dog get the help she desperately needed.

We had a true emergency. A choking dog! We were met at the door and my dog, Bang Bang, was wisked away to be treated by the professionals at Magnolia. After a short, but stressful wait, we were giving the great news that he was okay. (X-rays done to be on the safe side). I believe we may have had a disaster of a night had it not been for Magnolia Veterinary Hospital.

there is a rude, careless, and mean secretary that she doesn't care , unfortunately secretary is the first person you come in contact before you see anyone . she was so unresponsive and careless to my request that by the time I got to talk to the tech to stop the procedure , they had already started . I will not take my pet there because of the secretary's unwelcoming and rude attitude.

We have been bringing our pets to Magnolia for over 20 years. We have always been ok with paying a little more for what we felt was excellent care and attention to our pets. We have seen this change over the last several years, but my visit with my cat Percy tonight has ended our relationship with Magnolia. Our kitten has had an eye infection for two weeks. We have brought him in for two visits and it has gotten better, but it was still not cleared up this evening. We tried to get an appointment, but we were told the next available appointment was a week from now. I was very unhappy and called. I spoke to a receptionist who was very understanding and told me to bring my kitten tonight and we would be charged a recheck fee, and not a late night emergency fee. Imagine my surprise upon checking out to find out that I was being charged the late night fee because Dr Eaves felt that it was not an emergency. I asked the receptionist to double check with him since she had told me it would not be an emergency charge. She put me on hold, and then came back and told me Dr Eaves insisted on the charges. So basically Magnolia has ended a 20+ year relationship over $50. I'm so sad, but I know that we will find a new vet willing to provide the kind of service that Magnolia used to provide.
