They are a great staff who cares for you and your pet. They go out of their way to make sure all is well! The doctors make sure you have high quality supplements for your pets. They try everything possible first before suggesting surgery.

Aiken Veterinary Clinic is THE BEST VET in Aiken! Having lived in Aiken for 20 years; I have frequented 4 vet services. 1. One near Zaxbys (Dr. H.W.) was not good. Period. Next vet.. 2. SBAH on Silver Bluff with Dr. H is a production line like facility...No time for you; and you will not get personalized service. They care about $$$ more than service in my opinion. Next Vet... 3. Dr Cindy B on Banks Mill...Great old school vet that loves animals but increased her business so large it has become a, in my opinion, a production facility vet. Minimal vet time...big bills. Dr. Cindy is awesome but her business got too big and that usually leads to a decrease in quality of care. FINALLY! THE BEST!....AIKEN VET CLINIC...WOW! Look no further! This vet is hands down the Best vet service period! Started by LEGENDARY vet Charlie Timmerman; AVC carries on his tradition with excellent vets (Dr. Charles Groover and etc) that really care; listen, and spend time with you. Also...they are on the cutting edge of the technical aspects if vet science and have an AWESOME support staff. Their rates are very reasonable too! If you use vets 1 through 3 you are really missing out on the best as Aiken Vet Services will spend time with you and suggest novel treatments for your pet. I have had 2 pugs who were my two old ladies and Dr. Grover did everything he could with them. One was 14 and the other 15. He was kind caring and helped with financed as he could... I was able to spend more time with my pugs. I plan on taking my new little puppy to him as well. I know he will take his time in caring for him.
