Red Dog Inn And Resort Mansfield, Rhode Island

We boarded our dog here for 2 nights last week for the first time. It was horrible experience. He had a bad rash around his neck maybe from a typing him up all the time. We called the place to discuss the issue. They said manager was busy and will call back later. But never called back. Never sending my dog back there.

My dog is nervous around strangers. But the staff was very good with her and now she really enjoys going there. She is getting better when around others too.

No problem. My puppy came home and slept she was there for day care an nail trim .she was tired from playing

My dog and I love Red Dog. They really care about the well-being of my dog and it shows. They do a fantastic job grooming, are good for boarding and have a very reasonable punch card system for daycare. You have to call on arrival so someone will come get your dog, and my dog has learned the phone ringing sound means playtime at daycare and gets excited.

We brought our Jack Russell Terrier to Red Dog Inn for almost 14 years and wouldn't consider bringing him elsewhere! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and caring and loves the animals in their care. They understood the characteristics of his breed but more importantly, they took the time to understand my dog's likes and dislikes - even going to check on him at night during a thunderstorm to be sure he was happy and sleeping. We highly recommend them!

We boarded our dog here for 3 nights last week for the first time. We had scheduled him to be groomed on his last day before pick up. When we arrived he looked like he had gone and played after his bath, nails were not trimmed and he had a rust ring around his neck maybe from a typing him up while being bathed?? He also came home with kennel cough, and scabs all over his back like he had gotten bit or scratched by another dog. They have signs on the door to wait in the car for your dog and call when you get there. I overlooked the signs accidentally and went it and the place is disgusting. I know it’s a daycare and boarding facility but it was smelly and looked like they’ve never washed the floors or even swept. I will not be sending my dog back there again.

Not sure about boarding, but the groomer did a fabulous job on our standard poodle.

I boarded my two cats for a week and Red Dog Inn was wonderful! My schedule was up in the air and changed twice, and they were incredibly accommodating and had no problem with changing my dates, even when I called at the last minute to ask if I could bring them in early. Everyone I spoke with was professional, helpful, and made me feel my kitties were in good hands. They got lots of attention, and now that they're home they don't even seem mad at me that I kicked them out of the house for a week (which says a lot for a cat!!!). I will certainly return if I ever need to board my cats again.

Red Dog Inn is the only place that my husband and I feel comfortable leaving our dog for gooming. He is diabetic & has a collapsible trachea. When he gets overly excited, his breathing gets rough & he sounds like a little piglet. He starts breathing very hard and it's important to keep him calm. Red Dog is the only place we truly trust to groom him and care for him. They do their job in a timely manner, make sure he has water & has him back to us, happy & groomed. I would highly reccommend Red Dog Inn. ????

Staff is great so helpful and friendly. Our pittie Romeo loves all of his new friends he see and plays with during our stay.

We send our 6 month lab/husky Roxie to daycare 2 or 3 times a week. She loves going and getting excercise and socializing with other dogs.
