Dr. Dan Castillo is an incredibly compassionate veterinarian, human being, and man. It is my honor to know him as a customer through the entirety of his tenure at Franklin Veterinary Clinic. We've had two dogs that were his patients and it was our privilege and good fortune that Dan took over a practice where we'd been going. We've lived in the area for 36 years. He truly cares about the animals and he volunteers every year attending to animals in Dominican Republic. If you've not read his book, you should. It explains how he became who he is in all respects and it is incredibly honest - a quality all but lost in today's world of "fake it till ya make it". This is a rare person in our community and we should be thankful that he's here. We soon will be ready for another dog, but not just yet but as soon as we do, Franklin Veterinary Clinic will be our medical advisor and place!

My only experience with the Franklin veterinary clinic was the end of life care rendered to my 21 year old cat. They were so compassionate and caring towards both Bailey and to me, I can't say enough about the wonderful staff at every level.

Always great service and they take great care of my pets. I have been bringing my pets there for decades.

Felt Veterinarian and Techs were all very friendly and took the time to explain what was going on with my pet. The price was much lower than my previous Vet clinic and I was able to get an appointment in a very short period of time.

Great staff, good vet, very thorough and helpful. They have been exceptionally understanding and have made time to accommodate last minute requests. Love them!!

Very friendly staff. I lived in Franilin. Moved to Woonsocket and I still bring my dog there. They know how to take care of visiting animals

First impressions matter! The receptionist that answered the phone was so rude. As I was speaking, she would interrupt and talk over me. Almost as if what I am saying or the questions I am asking did not matter. Oh, and at the end of the call when I asked who I was speaking with, of course she did not want to provide her name. Most rude people do that. They may have a good veterinarian but they have terrible customer service. I will not be calling back to set up an appointment. Please do better!

I truly love this place. The drs and staff are truly wonderful. With that being said I am only giving it 4 stars because they recently increased prices and neglected to notify people and i only found out after i received bill. They also cost 15.00 now for nails to be cut when the groomers only charges 8.00 and the multi pet discount is very tiny.

First rate care and attention to detail. Dr Castillo took however much time I needed to make sure I had all my questions addressed.

We have taken our pets to the Franklin veterinary clinic for years. Dr. Castillo Is a exceptional. All of the doctors are very good. The staff is the staff is interactive and extremely professional. I would never consider taking our pets anywhere else.

The Doctors and nurses are very helpful and they constantly follow up on the well being of my dog

Best veterinarians and staff. Always there to help and listen. My dogs get the best care there. It has been tough with Covid, but I know I can always count on them to be there and throughout all of it their compassion for the animals has been incredible.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Franklin Vet. Anytime I need something for my dog they immediately get us in. They are helpful, compassionate, knowledgeable and make every experience less stressful. They are reasonably priced and go out of their way for every pet. Highly highly recommend!

I just adopted a puppy and I was looking into a vet to take her to and I came across this place in my searches. I was intrigued by the great reviews, so I immediately called (today, February 4th 2021, around 4 o’clock pm), and the receptionist who answered was disgustingly rude. She was talking over me, and as I was giving her my information, assuming the talking over me was accidental, she kept interrupting me and saying she couldn’t hear me, telling me to slow down, and she overall was not friendly or welcoming. Now, I will not be taking my puppy here and I hope other people take my review into consideration before deciding to become new clients at this place. For all I know, the other staff could be amazing, but the receptionist ruined it. A receptionist should be amicable, but this woman was not. I would also like to add that I have only ever left 2 reviews in my entire life, so do with this information what you will...

They treat your pets like family

These guys are awesome. Very caring, honest and they take the time to explain everything for my dogs surgery. We found a mass cell tumor (Stage 2) and Dr.Gray along with other staff helped us get rid of this nasty tumor and really cared for my dog. They took great care of him and didnt shy away from him because of his breed (Pitbull). Most people get weird just by type of breed but these guys are so welcoming and they treated him so well. He loves the attention. He's a big 90lb talkative Pitty and they gave him all the attention he needed. Great service, super kind people and they actually care. Thank you for taking care of Royce! We are so glad he is going to be ok! Thank you so much!

I called on a wednesday night because my dog was limping and getting worse over a span of three days. i called 15 different places and no one would take me because it wasnt an emergency or they were closing. this place closed at 8 and let me take him in for 7:30 because i was worried. they were very nice to my dog and let him warm up to them because he gets nervous around new people because he was abused when he was younger! Very NICE AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF!

Dr. Castillo and his team are a hard- working and caring group that consistently go the extra mile for their customers and their pets. In this unusual year they worked quickly to establish protocols to meet the needs of the community.

Im soo pleased about how kind everyone who worked here was. I had a very bad experience with the animal hospital in dartmouth so i was afraid to return to a veterinarian. I am so glad i decided to come here. Everybody was just so pleasant, I will be returning here thank you for your awesome service and helping my dog colossus feel better!!!

They misdiagnosed my dog’s nasal tumor as an anxiety disorder and made us beg to refill an insulin prescription for our diabetic cat when we were switching to another vet clinic and on a waiting list due to COVID-19. Find somewhere else where you and your pets will be treated with compassion.
