Staff are great. Excellent experience boarding for a few days and my dog is a 70 lb pit lab who can be quite strong.

We had to board our 9 year old cat for 3 or 4 days while we were packing to move cross country. Our cat can be difficult, and had never been boarded before. I think she loved her cat “condo”, and because she was the only cat at the time, her door was open during the day, and she actually interacted with the staff! I can’t say enough good things about Delmyra! It is very evident that they take an interesting your pet, while taking excellent care of them. I would recommend Delmyra to all of my family and friends!

Patient and caring with your pets. My dog can be particularly " challenging" and they have nothing but patience with him. I am always worried when I leave him he'll be over the top and I'll get phone calls but it's never happened. I have had that experience before so for them to be so patient and caring is a definite plus for me.

My dog, Brodie, is an Aussie. He means the world to my husband and I. He will be 10 in May, and he is the most loving good boy there is!! He is not a fan of strangers, he becomes very anxious and he is extremely protective. So when we have to go away, we usually have family watch him to reduce his anxiety. However, my husband and I were going away for a weekend and unfortunately didn’t have any family available. Before going ahead and canceling the trip, I took a chance on Delmyras after reading hundreds of positive reviews, and let me tell you I’m so glad I did. They told me they would make sure he had his own area, and alerted staff to not over crowd him. They even went as far as to call me later in the evening after we had initially dropped him off to let me know how he was doing. I was an absolute wreck when we brought him there, teary eyed, and so nervous he wouldn’t relax. But when I got a call from Ruth that night, boy did my stomach unravel it’s knots!! She was just the sweetest, comforting me that he was doing just fine! They go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of animals and I’m just so grateful for them! Definitely 5 stars! ⭐️

I am at a complete loss as to the caregiver at Delmyra Kennels. I have taken my German Shepard and Westie to Delmyra’s twice in the past 6 months. Both times my Dogs were boarded for a full week. The first time I picked them up my Shepard had swelling and a very large growth coming out the side of his mouth. I took him to the Vet, was given medication as well as a follow up visit. He has never had any mouth issues and hasn’t since. I gave Delmyra Kennels the the benefit of the doubt on how they could possibly not notice his mouth. Although concerned about the care they were receiving. Once again I boarded the Dogs at Delmyra’s again for a full week. I pick my Dogs up and my Shepard’s mouth is bleeding on my car seat and NO ONE noticed at Delmyra’s again?? What in the world is going on back in those sound proof Kennels? And why doesn’t anyone notice this growth on the side of his mouth is bleeding. I left explicit instruction to call my Vet immediately if the Dogs had any health issues. I spoke to Ruth the Owner who is a very nice lady but... she thinks he bit his tongue on the way home? That absolutely is not the case. I wouldn’t be so upset if they would accept ownership for not noticing or offer to reimburse me for my Vet bills. But instead I am practically hung up on and told she sorry?

Great services for pets, dogs and cats . People working there are very nice and friendly. The owner of these Delmyra kennels are our best friend they are great people. I recomment this kennels for pets boarder they are great accomodation for them.

I had to take my moms dog here for grooming as she couldnt make the appointment. The staff here was very friendly the facility was very clean and the dog looked great. I would reccomend the groomer her for sure.

The staff are some of the nicest most animal loving people I have met. Clean super clean kennels I would not trust any other kennel with my cat.

Great place for dog obedience training sessions, either as a group or 1 on 1 lessons. Also a great place for boarding both cats and dogs.

I cannot say enough good things about Delmyra!! They took excellent care of my dog for her life and we boarded her many times. In fact, once when she was boarding, she was ill. The owner drove her from Exeter to her vet in the East Bay................that's caring and dedication. This dog has now passed and we have two new puppies. We recently boarded them for a couple of day and they came home happy and healthy. Everyone made a fuss over them and showed them lots of affection. I would recommend Delmyra to anyone who wants to board their pets and have peace of mind, knowing they are well cared for and loved!!
