I am not one to write bad reviews for vets given the nature of the business but I am more upset then anything. I specifically only see one vet and have that noted on my account.. I made an appointment with said vet and they waited till I got here (1 hr commute) to tell me she no longer works there and I was scheduled with someone else.. HOW RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE!! Only getting 3 stars because the technicians were always great..

We have known Dr. Linda Farrington for over twenty years. She took excellent care of our Saint Bernard who passed at the age of fourteen, and is now likewise taking excellent care of our two Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, ages ten and eight. Dr. Linda and her staff have always gone above and beyond in their care of our pups. When you have the best, you have no need to ever consider going anywhere else. Thank you to Dr. Linda and to everyone at CCVC for all the amazing work you do, and the kindness and compassion you show when doing it.

They are very loving and caring. They take care of your fur babies as if they’re their own. Highly highly recommend! Dr brown and the staff are amazing

I saw the name, the location, and the amount of people who went here and thought - they must truly be compassionate and give great service. After three appointments I definitely am not going to go back. They may do their job well, but it does not take long to see what and who they actually care for. I don't like to trash places when I feel my experience isn't something the majority of people will go through, but unless you're established there already - do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Good vets but poor customer service. One of the receptionists is generally flippant, not someone that you want to have to speak with during an emergency. There is also the reliability issue, there is none. If you call and get the voicemail you have a 50/50 chance of actually getting a call back. It’s too bad, I liked the vets and they were kind to my dog but I need a reliable vet that doesn’t come with the baggage of an attitudey receptionist.

took my dog here twice, both times spent over $500 . No follow up or anything and she has got worse. I have been calling to get my dogs medical record so that i can take her to another vet . They keep telling me they are going to email me and I have been waiting and still have not received anything. I really do not want to but my next step is going down to the office and waiting until I get the medical record for my dog so that she can be seen elsewhere before she gets even more worse. I cannot bring her to another vet without knowing exactly was done the first time to not have to keep waiting and not knowing what is wrong with my baby!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! My dog has been seen here before and I just tried to make an appointment for her. The receptionist told me since she’s not a regular client so she can’t be seen here..... Not okay whatsoever!!

I called and before I could even explain what I needed for my pet the person answering the phone said before you go into a big spiel we are not accepting new clients. Translation get your compassion and care elsewhere. That last sentence was me not them but same thing. At some point a place cannot handle more but if you read about them they are welcoming new business maybe the online advertising should be taken down for the time being.

On two separate nights the doctors and nurses of compassionate care stayed late in assisting me and my family with our sick cat. Staff is incredible, and they saved our girl without charging an insane amount either. If you want your animal to be treated like their own family I would recommend them!

I went for a first adopted puppy visit. After waiting I don't know how long he was brought in. Everything done by phone due to COVID. Understandable. I was to get free heartworm and flea and tic medicine at the first visit. Did not happen. Wanted to re-test him at a later date, another office visit. Got me for a lime shot to be boosted at a later time. The dog came down with worms a few days after this visit. Still wondering if he caught them there in the dog park or grounds walking around waiting to go in. I contacted them right away so I could get medicine for him. They wanted a sample, I brought it right over. Clearly the dog had WORMS anyone with eyes could see that. Charged 82$ for the test and they called 2 days later and said the lab said he did not have worms! I am beside myself it is clear they made a mistake somewhere. I send a picture with proof the lab made a mistake still no help from the vet. Today I went to the local store and bought for myself. Still no help from the vet. I will not be returning. I will be going else where. I paid 133 for a first check up with lime shot no medicine that was important that I got and now he has to wait for another appointment at another vet so I can get the heartworm medicine I was promised. Hope he does not get that between now and then because if he does I blame Compasionate Care all the way! Just terrible!! Go elsewhere don't let what happened to me happen to you!

I'm only giving 1 because I have ro in order to rate this place. Its awful! If you love your pet as much as i do do not go here! They don't care about your pet and give all sorts of excuses all the time. My dog is almost 2 and has been going there since 8 weeks, its been fine uo till 6 months ago. Now I'm done and going somewhere else due to lack of knowledge and caring about animals

Amazing team! They were able to fit in my pet on a Sunday for an urgent care visit... as a new client. Professional, caring staff that ensured I had all the information I needed to take care of my pup once home.

My almost 13 year old dog has been a patient at Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic for the past 7 years. He recently needed a refill on his heart worm preventative and this terrible clinic REFUSED to fill his prescription. They claimed that my dog has not been seen in over a year and that he has not been on heart guard medication in the same amount of time. Even after providing a receipt of his most recent visit to Compassionate Care (6 months ago), the receipt that showed they charged us for his negative heart guard test this year, as well as proof in which they authorized his 6 month prescription 6 months ago- they are still denying my dog his much needed heart guard medicine. Our dogs are family to us and we are absolutely disgusted by the way this clinic has treated our pets and our family. If you consider "compassion" as denying a senior dog heart guard preventatives even after PROVING that they have tested negative and have been consistently on it for years, then this is your spot. If not, look elsewhere. The sad thing is that this clinic used to be great several years ago and was one I had recommended to many. There are other vets in the area- don't trust yours with one that thinks about lining their pockets more than they do about the care of your loved animals.

Dr. Holly Brown was amazing with my cat Gus and her assistant Jessica was warm and made me feel very comfortable. The office is clean ! A little expensive but worth it!

Thank you Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic for your professional and supportive assistance as we addressed the difficult end of life decision for our 22 year old cat. You respected our decision and made a difficult process so much easier. We are very grateful to all your staff.

We brought our guinea pig in to be checked out. We called several places but they were the only one we found that did small or exotic pets. The staff was so nice. They were great with our pet. The other families coming out into the waiting room all had good things to say. All around it was a great experiance.

I've been taking my cat here since I adopted him. I've always been pleased with the quality of care and their ability to deal with my little buddy. He's a very peaceful loving cat...until you touch certain areas, which are of course all the spots a vet needs to touch. He has been in for regular checkups as well as an an emergency appointment on a Saturday for a UTI. I called shortly after they opened, described his behavior, and they said to bring him in right away. As soon as I walked in they announced his arrival and took him for evaluation. The cost was reasonable and he's been happy and healthy since.

This place is great. They took my cat at last minute. They were very friendly and the facility was really clean. The veterinarian was very friendly and explained what had to be done and also gave us the price before doing any treatments. The day after they even called to check in and see how our cat was doing. Definitely seems like they actually care about you and your pet.

My family has been using compassionate care for years and could not be happier with both the quality of their care and their overall attitude. They are always excellent at answering questions and explaining all options available. I have never gone in and thought my pup was going to receive anything other than the best possible care available. They truly get that our dogs are our family! Thank you to everyone for all you do!

Very caring and understanding. I guess with most vet clinics, the expense of care is high. So, sometimes we experience "sticker" shock. However, the doctors and staff are great.

I would not even give this place one star. We took our cat for an emergency visit nearly an hour before they closed, and they refused service to her. Online it says that they are open until 11 PM, but the closed sign was already on their door and they were mopping their floors at 10:15, as if they were hoping to close and go home early. My problem is that they advertise being an emergency veterinary service, but denied service when we did have an emergency. We then proceeded to call after returning home and they said they were "emergency by appointment," which does not make much sense. I am sharing my experience to help others choose a better veterinary clinic- one that is more caring and concerned about the wellbeing of your pets.

Our rescue pup can be nervous around other dogs and new people, and we were so nervous to bring him to his first visit but they were incredibly accommodating. They are so kind, respectful and always make sure we understand everything 100%. Our pup had to have part of his tail amputated and he had no complications. They kept us updated the whole day and took such good care of our furbaby! I have nothing but good things to say!
