I've tried on several occasions to book a grooming appt or boarding and theyve never once picked up the phone and only once ever called back. Guess it's a good thing ive never booked my dogs here

Great staff and my puppy loves it there. We have sent her for a day, boarding for a week, or just for an afternoon, it's a great and safe place to send your puppies!

I keep seeing an employee walking people's dogs around anytime fitness' blacktop parking lot in 90 degree weather. That has to be torture on a dog's paws. I'd be furious if these were my dogs.

Today, Tuesday May 25, 2021, my mom took our Cockerspaniel to be groomed at The Dog Stop Wexford on Perry Highway, and they injured her dog less than an hour of being there. The store called my mom saying “your dog was cut with scissors, we have to stop his Appoitment, we can’t get it to stop bleed, and you need to take him to the vet immediately.” My mom then drove to the groomer, picked up our dog, and took him to our vet. The groomer claimed that “he fell on some scissors” and that’s how he was cut. The vet said the cut was too deep to glue or stitch and it will have to heal on it’s own. The vet sent my mom home with pain medicine and antibiotics and told her to monitor our dog. The vet’s office called The dog stop to ask how they planned to pay for the visit, and they said IT WAS THE DOGS FAULT & they wouldn’t be paying for it. They blamed my moms dog for “FALLING ON SCISSORS”. So my mom takes the dog home and goes back to the Dog Stop. My mom tries to speak with the groomer who claimed no responsibility for this incident. The groomer ran to the back and “felt threatened” whenever my mom wanted to see video evidence of the accident since she was the one claiming it was our dogs fault, She hid in the back and refused to talk to my mom. The manager who is the woman who spoke to the vet initially says “she never blamed the dog and refused to pay for the injury and the vet must have been confused” she argued with my mom, called the owner, and eventually gave her the money for the vet bill. This company offered no apology or ever took responsibility for this incident. I am absolutely DISGUSTED with how this was handled. In all my years of having animals I have never had my pet become INJURED from a groomer. Not only did they injure our dog to the point he needed medical attention, they told us it was our dogs fault and he “allegedly” moved his foot and landed on a pair of scissors. All of the blood in her car an home was AFTER he was seen by the vet, so I can’t imagine how badly they cut him initially.

I realy liked Zors hair cut but I asked her to not clip his ears and she did and she would not honor my coupons that were given to me when I adopted him from animal friends and the coupons were to be used at this location in Wexford One was for 20% off for dog grooming and the other coupon was for a free bag of premium dog food I don't think I will be returning back there

We use both the Daycare and overnight services. The staff members are great; they remember both of our dogs each time. They are clearly dog lovers and it shows. We also like having the livestream cameras so we can look in on our dogs.

I wouldn't send my kids to some random daycare and that holds true for my fur kids. The Dog Stop North is fantastic! My dogs love going and I can't say enough good things a out them and the doggy cams are a plus! I highly recommend Dog Stop North for daycare and boarding.

I had used this location for over a year. When I had a complaint for the first time, which I actually blamed on my dog as not to hurt anyone’s feelings, the manager called me the day of his appointment to tell me that the groomer could not continue to groom my dog. Now yes there had been times that I asked about achieving things like camouflaging his nails or leaving his hair a little longer here or there but NEVER expressed that I was unhappy, NEVER! The one time I expressed something as an issue, his hair was NOT right. I actually put the blame on my dog being very nervous on that visit which made me wonder but I figured it was the face mask which I told her that. I contacted “her” to try and figure out how we could make it easier on my dog. I got a phone call from the manager telling me that the groomer no longer could cut my dog because of the stress “she” felt. Now, she nicked my dog before and I was VERY understanding. No one is perfect. I am an extremely tolerant and patient person but the way I was treated was absolutely rude and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!

When my husband and I go out of town on work or leisure, we trust leaving our dog-ter, Macy, with the team at The Dog Stop - Pittsburgh North! The facilities for each pup are spacious and clean - plus Macy gets to run around as much as she wants and spends plenty of energy playing and getting to know new dog-friends. It's wonderful to know that our fur-baby is in good hands, and that she will have just as much fun on her doggie-vacay as we will on a mini getaway. I wouldn't leave her anywhere else. Really appreciate knowing that we can enjoy a night out of town and our baby will be well-taken care of. The owners and staff are true "dog people" - and genuinely love spending time with each pup that comes through the doors. I highly recommend The Dog Stop - Pittsburgh North!

Thank you so much for helping us during my uncle's funeral ❤️ We are so grateful for all your kindness and compassion! If you don't bring your dog to hang out with these amazing folk, it would be crazy. Not only did they support us ... Our dogs had an amazing time ❤️????❤️????

My dogs love coming here and I know they're in good hands for play/boarding/grooming. The only thing I don't like is the setup of the facility regarding entering/leaving. It isn't great for reactive dogs. However, the staff is VERY helpful with this.

Our dog Nero is a nervous Nellie but the Dog Stop seems to really like him. He always does well and is always excited to be there when we kennel him. He loves to play with the other dogs. They treat him well and we appreciate they care and attention he receives.
