My one piece of advice is to find a vet you like here and stick with them. Dr. Beaudry has taken care of our dogs for years and goes above and beyond for them. I can also email back and forth with her for none urgent matters and she always gets back to me in a day or so, even if she's in surgery all day. Dr. Donato has been taking care of my family's dogs for over 20 years now. I've had adequate experiences with the other vets here, but these two seem to stand out with their attention to detail. I've had countless good experiences here. The medications are very fairly priced (cheaper than pet pharmacies online in many instances). Some of their services can be on the expensive side. I'd suggest going to a spay clinic as opposed to getting your dog fixed here. It was a 4th of the price to go to a clinic. Overall, this is a great vet. The office staff is kind and attentive, although they do get overwhelmed(not their fault) and can take a few hours to call you back.

Radnor Veterinary has been amazing with our pet mice. Just recently one of our mice got sick and they fit her in right away. She is already starting to get better because of the antibiotics prescribed for her. The only hard part was figuring out how to get Isla to take her medicine--but we figured it out. The doctor gave us a few ideas of what might work to get the mouse to eat the medicine. We put the medicine in some bread and also added a little bit of apple sauce and peanut butter. Then we put the one sick mouse in a separate enclosure twice a day until she eats her medicated "bread balls"--then she gets to back in with her sisters in the big enclosure. This is working great. We've also done our healthy mouse check ups here, and it's been a very positive experience every time. The one thing is that we wish the office were closer to us. We are in the Lehigh Valley, so it's a drive to get to there. There just aren't many vets that see pet mice--I wish more vets worked with pet mice! Thanks for working on keeping mice healthy! We've been very happy.

Always know we are in good hands when we come in whether scheduled or emergency. Our Parrotlet has developed favorites on the staff and they are all so knowledgeable about birds!

Our family was happy to find the Radnor Animal Hospital, close to Wynnewood which was an approximate 21-minute drive. The hospital had flexible hours six days per week, and most importantly their pet services includes dogs, cats, avian and exotic pets: our Eastern Hermann Tortoise. Timmy our tortoise needed medical care, Dr. Alisha Beaudy, VMD carefully examined our pet like it was a human. Lab tests were on premise. Dr. Beaudy offered us choices for treating Timmy, and made us feel involved. In addition, prescription medicine and supplies were available on the property. One stop for everything. At the end, the veterinary assistants demonstrated how to administer the medication to the tortoise. Timmy is feeling better now. Veterinarian Fees were reasonable. Peter L. C. MS

Dr. Urlich is awesome. She takes the time to check out my 2 cats thoroughly. She even remembered my one cat, Momo, after a year of not seeing him. The office team is extremely organized and professional. Thank you Dr. Urlich and team for a great 2 years together. I can't wait for my next visit.

Have always had a great expereince here: excellent practice, nice facility. They took the time on a Saturday to perform a difficult job of stitching up my dog's tail after it had gotten jammed in a door. They had to try many times before the tail bandage stayed on. The tail healed fine.

Staff were very nice and very helpful! As it came to my animal however, i got treatment for him but it ended up killing my reptile. I was deeply upset but tried to look at the positive side! Trusted the vet and hoping that he died of natural causes instead of what she told me to give him!

It’s all Dr Principatti, she has been incredible to deal with. Not only does she take the time to explain available options, she researches possible untried options. She is empathetic, kind, realistic and incredibly easy to converse and connect with. I’m so Grateful for her and her compassionate treatment of Ellie my exotic pet. Please let her know she’s appreciated for what she does.

My lab was limping while visiting family in Villanova and RVH took me that day, went over pricing (which was reasonable!), thoroughly checked my lab, found some pain areas, took x-rays as needed, diagnosed and treated my lab for arthritis, and I left knowing my dog was really competently and compassionately cared for by RVH! They really care about my pet and me!

I adopted a bunny from a rescue 2 years ago and was looking for a vet that treated exotic animals. I was referred to Radnor Veterinary Hospital by a friend who also had a bunny. From the time we walked in the door until we left we had an excellent experience. We have been going there for 2 years now. Yesterday we had a check up appointment for our bunny Midnight with Dr. Erlich. She is excellent! She is personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Her approach to a better way do do things is positive....Midnight gained a little weight and she gave her suggestions on sutle changes to make in his diet to help him take off a pound or so, her approach was positive and she tailored her suggestions taking into consideration the individuality of Midnight. The techs were also excellent in grooming our precious bun. I would not take my bun to any other practice. Thanks to everyone!

I lost a beloved pet recently to a sudden and unexpected illness, and the kindness and empathy shown by the vets and staff here goes above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. They go the extra mile here, even for the smallest of creatures, because they know how much they mean to us. If you want your pet; be they lizard, bird, cat, dog, or something else, to be treated like family, bring them here. Thank you everyone, you've all been amazing.

I've been with Dr. Donato for 17 years. We started off with a goldfish that had swim bladder disease and worked through guinea pigs, turtles and several cats. My latest cat has unfortunately inflammatory bowel disease and Dr. Donato has been very helpful. His choice of doctors and staff is great and they are always available in case of crisis. I trust him implicitly.

I brought in my 8 foot python and despite other vets not wanting to treat a snake this large, they were very professional and gentle with her. I'm very pleased with the service there.

My 10 year old poodle had to change boarding facilities and I wanted her to get used to her new daycare at Radnor. The staff was very welcoming, caring, and professional. She had a good time despite being a newcomer and I was given updates on how she was doing. I liked that the dogs get alternating rest periods. The dog park was large, clean, and play inducing. She will go back a few more times before her boarding date. She enjoyed it.

It was an emergency visit for our Lovebird, Smartypants, who was wheezing and not feeling well. They fit me in last minute and the Dr. was excellent. Did some tests, discussed options, and Smartypants is feeling much better;). Highly recommend!

I am unsure the rating I should give because I experienced a great vet here and a horrible one. I brought my mice here and had two different experiences. If you are going there for exotic animals, I would definitely ask for Dr. Beaudry. She was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I could tell that she cared about the animals and that she wanted the best for them. I would trust her with any of my animals. One of my mice went there for a bump above her eye and she was able to get a cell sample and let me know exactly what it was. If she was not there, I probably would never go back to this place. You should never ask for Dr. Donato. He was absolutely horrible and rude. We brought one of my mice that was breathing heavy and also has a past spine injury. Every time we tried to speak and explain something, he would talk over us and yell at us. This is very rude and disrespectful. We were trying to explain how we took care of the mice and he wouldn't listen to us. We also were trying to explain other things that other vets have said to us but would not let us finish our sentences. I did not feel listened to and he basically yelled at us and spoke over us the whole time. He did not give a proper exam to my animal, as I've seen other vets do exams before and he hardly examined anything about her. I do not feel like he did anything and I could have done everything he did at home. He also just gave false information that I knew was not true based off of what several other exotic vets have done and told us during past exams at other vet practices, and treated us like we knew nothing. I have been working with animals for 8 years and have never experienced such a horrible experience. I also did not like how he handled my animal. He basically just dropped her back in the carrier knowing full well that she HAS A SPINE ISSUE. I could tell by watching that she was not comfortable when she got put down and almost landed on her side. I would complain to someone about him but unfortunately, he is the owner of the place. I thought I've seen bad vets in the past but nothing could compare to him. He was rude, disrespectful, unwilling to listen, and not gentle with animals. Without experiencing the other vet first, I would give this place a -20 stars and feel like I paid for nothing. I will never see this vet again and will only see Dr. Beaudry because she is the best vet that I have ever been to. We brought the mouse back to be seen by her the next day to get a proper exam and discussion with a vet about her health and Dr. Beaudry found a health issue that was missed the day before, which she is now able to be treated for.

Not only were they great at diagnosing our ferret, they were very helpful and understanding when it came to helping us send him to the rainbow Bridge. Wonderful place, wonderful staff. Very affordable. A very big thank you to Dr.Beaudry.

They welcomed walk-ins and treat exotics as well. We drove 1.5 hours to see them. We did not have an appointment. They were very kind. Unfortunately, my child's pet had to be sent across the bridge. They offered him a cookie and let us spend time with him until my child was ready to say good-bye. They took a print of her baby's paws and tail and put it in a box. We also received a personalized condolence card in the mail. We are so touched and grateful for their care and kindness. I highly recommend Radnor Vet Hospital. I will gladly drive 1.5 hours for check ups of our other furry family members.

It was always so hard to find a reliable Vets office that took care of rabbits and most of the time, the office had one exotic vet who came certain days. Radnor not only has multiple doctors who specialize in rabbits but they are always available. This past week I had to put down my baby but the doctors at Radnor went above and beyond and did everything they could. They were so nice and called me every day while my rabbit was there. Dr. Principati And Dr. Ulrich have been a blessing and I truly recommend this Vets office to anyone and everyone, especially if you have small pets. They are professional, kind and just amazing. Thank you Radnor for helping all My babies and also getting me through a very hard goodbye this week. I know Oliver was in loving hands the whole time.

I was very happy with the care provided to my pet rabbit Midnight. He was sedated to have dental work done to him and he came through the experience just fine. The Doctors and staff are always courteous and informative and make me feel secure in trusting them to do a good job on my pets. My one eared Tiger Bunny is back to his usual self the day after his appointment. Thank you Radnor Veterinary. Sincerely, Bill and Beth

It can be tough finding a vet who sees exotic animals. I bring my leopard geckos in to see Dr. Beaudry who is extremely knowledgable and amazing at both treating them and easing my nerves. I can tell she genuinely cares for the animals she sees and has always been extremely helpful and thorough when it comes to my scaly babies. One of my leopard geckos is experiencing an ongoing eye issue and Dr. Beaudry has done an amazing job at truly finding the source of the problem and helping treat it. It's clear how caring she is towards the discomfort my pet is feeling and so is her drive to help make that pain and discomfort go away. Everyone at the office has always been so polite and helpful both when scheduling appointments and at the actual visits. I feel extremely lucky to have such good care so close by for my pets, and to have the people providing that care be so reassuring towards me in my pet parenting.
