Dr. Walker best vet ever. He loves all the animals. He talks to my Mikey like they are best friends. And reminds Mikey that he is a special kitty. He did that with my Jay too. He's just the nicest careing person.

I've been meaning to write a review for awhile now, but Dr. Walker literally has saved my cat (and also my sanity lol). I was previously seeing a vet who told me my cat was suffering from kidney failure and would definitely die within a few weeks. I was offered no solutions and I was completely devastated. I decided to seek out a second opinion and Dr. Walker was recommended to me. Dr. Walker immediately provided me with a pro-active care plan to try, including: fluids, probiotics, and various other medications for kidney cats. More than that, he took the time to call me and talk with me at length to make sure I understood everything pertaining to my cat's health condition. He has never wrote my cat off, and I appreciate that so incredibly much because he is still doing alright a year after that initial appt. where they told me he'd be gone by now. He still wants to cuddle, chase squirrels, and make biscuits, and has adjusted well to his care plan. I'm so thankful for the time I get to continue spending with my fur baby. This office really cares about your pets, and I definitely recommend it!

We have been using Gateway Animal and Dr Dave Walker for at least 20 years. They are a fabulous practice that always trys to accommodate getting our animals in for a visit or emergency. They are literally running outside to get pets in order to keep everyone safe from Covid. Thank you Dave and Staff for all your hard work!

Dr Brenner has been Willy's Veterinarian since I adopted him 10 years ago. He started with weighing in 101lbs and soon after I got him down to 66lbs. He just had a melanoma removed and is on his way to becoming a 17 year old Golden Retriever with No issues. I attribute his health and wellness to good nutrition, balanced exercise and a great Veterinarian and committed staff. Willy actually enjoys his visits.

They protect you with COVID19 guidelines as well as your pet.

During Covid, the technician will come to your car in the parking area to take your pet inside to see the doctor. Very efficient during these days. Dr. Walker was very helpful, we love having Winston being seen by him!

I've been taking my cats to GAH since I got my first kitten in 1985. Love everyone there!

We needed an emergency vet visit for one of our cats. They had no trouble fitting him in. Dr Dave Walker saw our boy "Old Bob" & after a thorough exam, diagnosed a clear course of action to eradicate the sinus infection. By the next morning Old Bob had done a complete 180 after only one treatment. He is continuing his meds & improving everyday. He's back to acting like a kitten. Thank you Dr Dave for your wonderful sense of humor & blessed talent for healing.

Gateway is the best! Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else! Except for Metropolitan off-hours.

We’ve been very thankful for the kind, caring staff at Gateway. When we made the difficult decision to have our dog euthanized they were extremely thoughtful and professional which helped us a great deal. They’re excellent with our cats, even the feisty one. Prices are very reasonable. Large waiting room with plenty of space to keep pets separated. Usually can be seen same day.

I can’t say enough nice things about Gateway Vet!! I’ve gone to this vet growing up as a kid with family pets. Recently moved back to the area and I got my own pup who was feeling very sick this weekend. Managed to get her in right away! She was there a week and even though I missed our pup very much, I was extremely relieved to know she was in great hands. The doctor called me everyday with updates. The staff is always friendly and you can really tell they care for each pet like it was their own! Would not go anywhere else!

My family has been going to Dr. Walker with all of our pets for years. You can tell he really loves what he does and wants to keep your pet happy and healthy. The staff is always wonderful as well! They took excellent care of my 2 month old puppy when he ate something he shouldn’t have... I wouldn’t want to trust my furry family members to anyone but the Gateway crew!

Great caring veterinarian service. They take care of all my pets

They never once in 13 years ordered an Unnecessary procedure on either of our dogs. They care about pets and owners and are not out to ‘make an extra buck’ ordering xrays or unnecessary tests. Dr. Shelley Rae and all her staff are outstanding and she is meant to be a vet. I am not affiliated nor paid for this, just writing bc our 13 year old bulldog just passed last week and I’m thanking all those who played a role in his healthy happy time here on Earth. Convenient location and easy parking KOP. Trust me these guys are where you want to take your pet. Thank you Gateway❤️
