PetSmart Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania

I was thoroughly impressed with the staff in the grooming room today! Two blonde girls and another person who I think is the manager were so professional and friendly despite having serious issues with their computer systems. I witnessed a very energetic golden retriever puppy getting her nails done and it was so stressful, but they held it together and we're clearly committed to the safety and well-being of the pup. I was mostly struck by their professionalism and the sense that they enjoyed being there and each other! It made me want to work with them! I'm from out of state and there's a rotating door at my local PetSmart. I never see the same groomers. I've come to this location three times while visiting my family specifically because of the my first experience with the senior staff member. They mentioned being there for two years. I will make it a point to visit each time I'm in town! Oh and the groomer have my pup ribbons in her hair! A first for us and I loved it!! I don't think my dog did though ????

PetSmart is usually an in and out for me. I run in, get crickets and run out. They are however out of crickets quite a lot. The staff is generally pretty kind and helpful.

I couldn't find the toy my daughter wanted for a dog, but I found something just as good that she would go for. The staff is very friendly. I only go here 1 or 2 times a year, but it is always a positive experience

Apparently throws live animals away in the trash. Hope the management and whoever was responsible for this was fired and replaced with compassionate animal lovers.

Do NOT support this local PetSmart. They throw out LIVE HAMSTERS. It does not matter how small or big the animal is, this is plain animal cruelty and I’ll NEVER step foot into this PetSmart again. They don’t value their animals, what makes anyone think they will value theirs?

This place is an absolutely sick organization. They have been caught throwing out LIVE ANIMALS in their dumpsters at night.

Apparently this location throws their live hamsters away into the garbage. A tiktoker video recorded her finding them at this Selinsgrove location and they were outside in a box alive and at the dumpster. Be aware of where you are shopping people. I dont think enough people know about this and how cruel it is. We should not be supporting stores like that.

Found what I needed. A variety of a selection for all animals. Did not smell like I thought it would. Need more cashiers. Happy, friendly and helpful.

Have taken care of many of our pets. Friendly, courteous staff that does a great job taking care of your pets. Also has all the food, toys, and chewies your pet may want.

The staff at this PetSmart was very helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the layout of the store, the pets for sale are not all in one general area they are down the center aisle and on the outside of the building perimeter. Everything was laid out in a very easy to understand format. I was able to find almost everything I was looking for. We needed some guidance to find one thing for our cat we asked for assistance and they immediately took us to the right area. We also had some questions about fish and the lady that was in the fish department was very helpful in determining what we should do and how to handle our fish that we have. The store itself was very clean and I would highly recommend going to the store if you need any pet products.

I’m usually careful not to just rant and give negative reviews although I like to read the negative ones just for laughs and figure things really aren’t as bad as some hot heads made it sounds. Tried to buy some fish today. Yup the negative reviews weren’t just hotheaded rants. They were correct. Doesn’t matter who or what you are. I left and went and found a small “pop and mom style” pet shop that had as many pets and fish as Petsmart and the proprietor actually wanted to sell his stuff. With all the blah blah that petsmart gave me I wonder if they actually ever sell any fish. Maybe I should have asked them if they were for sale. Just maybe the aquariums and fish are merely store decorations and really aren’t even meant to be for sale. Hey petsmart you could have just said the fish and aquariums were merely store props and that your store decor was never intended to be sold. Instead you just gave me ridiculous scripted answers that made absolutely no sense and contradicted what petsmart was actually doing themselves.

This door always has everything we need plus they also have a spot in the back where they will groom your pet for a certain price have not done it yet but will give updates when I get my cat's nails trimmed!! Couple years back we took our one cat Angel there straight from an abandoned motel that we found her at she had a double eye infection the people at PetSmart immediately took us to the right aisle and it was very affordable to help save this poor kittens life she is now three years old and super healthy and happy thank you PetSmart
