I'm about to celebrate my best friends 10th birthday. I had to take him to Exeter Veterinary Hospital when he was 3 months. He tested positive for PARVO. I couldn't afford to keep him on IV so they gave me a pill regimen. They saved my my puppy, and helped me give him a good life. I am forever greatful for that.

They accepted my dog as a new patient. What a great experience! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and pleasant. Our first visit and we had the pleasure of meeting with dr. Klein. Made us feel so comfortable. Came in sat on the floor with my pup he absolutely adored her. The whole staff went above and beyond 2 work with us and make us feel welcome.

10/14/21 What a great team all around! All the doctors, vet techs, the front desk, all wonderful! Our recent visits to the vet has been with Dr Kline, she is absolutely wonderful! She is very caring and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and adressed all my concerns! The front desk was able to get my Carly Creampuff in in a timely manner which I appreciate so much! She initially had an appointment which I scheduled and then I realized she need to be seen sooner as her little problem had gotten worse, with that being said I called and the front desk ladies were able to bring me in sooner, what awesome service! Also the vet techs are all so loving and friendly, this helps make the visit more pleasant for my baby! Always a great visit to the vet! Another Visit Dr Sciple and her vet assistants are always great with our dog!!! They are a loving, caring, and knowledgeable team! Our dog Carly never seems to mind going to the vet!

Dr. Achtel treated my dog today and I can't say enough nice things about him. He was so kind and gentle with her. He was able to examine her in a playful way that seemed to cause her no stress at all. He seemed very knowledgeable about her condition and how to treat her.

This place is wonderful. When my cat was having seizures for the first time I called my regular vet and they couldn't see me in for 2 weeks then started calling around this was the only place that would be able to see my cat the same day when he was sick. We waited a little bit to be seen which is fine cuz they squeezed us in. They did blood work and an x-ray on him. And the price is we're very reasonable. The total cost of everything with medicine was only close to 400.00. if I would have had to take him to the emergency vet I would have had to wait a very long time cuz they were full of animals and I would have paid double.

This animal hospital is probably the best I've ever been to! My baby iguana Bert had gotten really sick and he was dying so after calling 6 other vets, all of which kept telling me "there is no doctor in today but tomorrow..." as if tomorrow was an option when my iguana is DYING, there was Exeter Animal Hospital!! This vet was the ONLY ONE who made it a point to really listen to what I was saying and said "look this is an emergency. get here asap!" Unfortunately, we were 90 minutes away and on top of that we got stuck in a ridiculous amount of traffic so the odds were definitely stacked against us but we had hope. When we got there they were waiting for us, they ran up to the front to get him, took him right back to check him and see what they can do but sadly it was too late and they couldn't do anything to help him. Being stuck in almost 3 hours of traffic without his heating elements was really not a good thing at all!! The staff is beyond nice, very caring and informative for sure! They also offer options for cremation services if your pet passes. I'll definitely be returning again if I need to because they do what needs to be done right the first!! Thank you Exeter Animal Hospital ????????

Our animals are part of our family!!! I was thankful for Exeter Animal Hospital to "fit" us in their busy schedule It was a TERRIBLE experience!! It was the end of life for our cat and they would only allow 2 people in with our cat In this case, we had 3 people Still, they made NO exceptions!! I told them that was a ridiculous rule Even hospitals make exceptions at the end of life situations! The staff were very rude and so was one of the Veterinarians I told the Veterinarian that I was going to post this and he made the rude comment"I'm sure you will" We took our cat and left I wouldn't go back there again!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

If you have anything aside from a dog or cat, do not take bring them here. Go to an Exotic Animal vet. This place is negligent. Our rabbit was brought here for symptoms of stasis (most common issue with rabbits) which we had him treated for twice at our old vet. It is lethal if not handled promptly. This vet sent him home without treating him for it an he was dead within 3 hours. Great job, EVH. Complaint being filed.

They are a caring staff that see your pets as more than "just an animal". They see them as part.of your family.

As the manager of Exeter Veterinary Hospital, I would like to respond to Ms Wiggins review. The staff at Exeter Veterinary Hospital is concerned with the well being of every patient at all stages of their lives. Your pet was brought in as an emergency when you contacted us. You were informed by the staff of the two person policy as you arrived and when you refused, the manager, not a veterinarian, spoke with you. The only words I initially said were confirming the two person policy and that you could take turns if there was a third person (you and two others had already gone into a room despite the instructions of the staff). Once I offered the option you told the gentleman with you that you were leaving and the only comment you made to the me and the staff was that you were going to post a review. We are as concerned about the well-being of our clientele and staff as we are of our patients. Our limitation of the number of people within the building is a reflection of that concern. The Covid pandemic has created the understandable need for precautions to be in place so that we may continue to provide care to all patients uninterrupted. Our policy on limiting the number of people within the building is one such precaution.

Just had my cat Kitty Girl there for her first Appointment on 7-7-2021,an I could not be happier. The staff are absolutely amazing,an the Vet was the most caring,an informative Vet I have ever seen. She took so much time with me going over my concerns, examining Kitty Girl, showing me how to do what is needed to help her, explaining what she thinks is going on,an really truly knows her stuff an you could tell she truly cares about her wellbeing after only a first Appointment! We finally got some answers on what she is dealing with an have a clear path on what to do going forward to get her better! I highly recommend this place,an will continue to take my cat here!

Excellent veterinary to bring your pets too. The staff is very nice especially Shelly, they always return your calls promptly, and the vets are very caring vets who go over and beyond to take care of your pets needs.

Friend went here. Said that his 17 YEAR OLD CHIHUAHUA was "too hard to work with" because it was biting them. They tried putting a muzzle on and he "didn't react well" so they took it off and decided to give up on the dog completely. My friend went there scared for his dogs life and later found out that the vets didn't even do ANYTHING. On top of that, they made him pay $60 for it. It's not professional as a vet to completely give up on a dog because you don't know how to calm it down or work with it, and then charge the owner for it. Horrible business
