Sanatoga Animal Hospital Pottstown, Pennsylvania

I brought my cat here for deworming, shots and to be fixed. I had to wait months for her to be fixed. I paid over 1000 dollars for these services that a family member spent less than that for two cats at a different vet. The dewormer did not work and they tell me id have to pay yet again for the deworming and insisted on another service I did not need stating that that was the reason she got worms again when they actually never were gone in the first place and my cat has never had fleas and does not go outside. This place is completely over priced and i gaurantee that you may have to pay for the same service more than once so beware. Ive never had this issue at any other vet ive taken my other animals to. Will not be returning.

Payed $500 and they couldn't even give me any advice over the phone and my cat died when they should have put him down and when I called and asked fo advice on any kind of diet change or anything they said theres nothing you can do if you dont wanna pay another $300 to do absolutely nothing I will never give them a nother cent

We had to put our dog to sleep. They were very kind. They allowed all 3 of us in the room and today we recieved a sympathy card from them

Dr Sharma was very helpful and compassionate when we made the difficult decision to put our elderly cat to sleep recently. Receiving a sympathy card from his office was greatly appreciated too.

You definitely feel like your pet is being taken care of

After going to alot of other local vets I have been taking my dogs here for 6 years. Currently have 4 doxies that don't always get along. Today Rudi had stitches removed from his ear. Can't say enough wonderful things about the care and follow up of Dr Sharma and the entire staff. I have used them for grooming also. They do everything here!

Great vet, would have been a 5 star but I couldn't understand lady at front desk. Communication could use some improving.

This is my vet but last visit my dog was tramatized and the bill was insane prices go up Everytime they bill me I may look for a new vet for my dog they were not easy with him and they wouldn't let me in with him so he could be calm he was scared to death

We have been bringing our Rescue to Dr. Sharma since we brought him home in July 2017. I can't say enough nice things about everyone in the office. I don't think Diesel would let us take him anywhere else. He actually gets excited when we pull into the parking lot, & practically drags me to the door. We continue to bring him to Sanatoga Animal Hospital even after moving 2 hours away!

I have been using this practice for over a decade to care for my animals. I absolutely love dr sharma and dr Patel! I have nothing negative to say about either of them. Dr sharma especially was so caring and gentle with a reactive dog I had in the past. This review is solely a reflection of the receptionist that answered the phone there today. I have an emergency with a cat and she was just incredibly rude and unhelpful! She asked to charge me a $30 new patient fee. I asked if this was a new policy and she said no. I’m not a new client, I have been taking my pets there for years and I have never once been asked to pay a deposit for an appointment. Whatever I agreed to pay the $30 because I need my very sick cat seen. They couldn’t fit me in until tomorrow and at that point I asked if they possibly had a spacer for my cat’s inhaler in stock that I could purchase as I needed a new one ASAP. She said she didn’t know what that was. I described it to her and she just kept repeating she doesn’t know what I’m talking about. I asked if she could check with the vets or something because I really need one. She put me on hold (for the third time) gets back on the phone and says I’ve confirmed with the team and no one here knows what you’re talking about, maybe you’re using the wrong word. At this point i said REALLY?! No one has heard of a spacer for an inhaler?? It’s a pretty common thing for animals with asthma maybe I should be looking for a new vet if you guys don’t know what this is. Her answer was yes, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED A DIFFERENT VET. Dr. Sharma... I don’t know who this new receptionist is but you’ve just lost a household of 4 pets due to her ignorance! I’ve read other reviews complaining about this same receptionist. I sincerely hope dr sharma sees this because as a small business owner I would want to know if my receptionist was costing me business.

Dr. SHARMA and his associates are great, they take awesome care of my dog and cats. Very reliable, kind, and understanding of all situations. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new veterinarian for their animals.

Dr. Sharma is a great vet. You can tell he really cares about the animals he treats.

We've been going to Dr. Sharma for more than 15 years now. We have a real emergency & all I got was attitude from the very young, rude, obnoxious woman who answered the phone. We won't be going back to Dr. Sharma nor will we be recommending him to anyone. His staff is seriously lacking in maturity & compassion.

6 months ago my friend was hired by Sanatoga animal hospital to design seven logos for them. They have refused to pay and once my friend posted a negative review on Sanatoga’s page she got a voicemail asking her to remove her negative review. Refusing to pay Black artists for their work is beyond unacceptable. This is disgusting behavior and an extremely shady and unprofessional business practice. Leaving a voicemail asking my friend to delete the negative review and not even mentioning the fact they owe her hundreds of dollars is just icing on the cake. Please do not support this business and take your pets elsewhere. Who knows what else they are doing behind the scenes?

They have the best doctors and staff!

This vet requested a small business' services for a new logo and have not paid them. As a small, family business themselves, you'd think they'd be more kind. If this is how they treat their community members, I wouldn't trust them with my pet. Please take your business elsewhere. Sanatoga, please do the right thing and pay this professional for their fine work.

Horrible to hear that this place STEALS graphic design labor. They commissioned a logo from a black artist and refused to pay them for their work. Extremely unprofessional behavior. If you can't trust this company to hold up their end of a business deal, I wouldn't trust them with my pets.

This vet hospital must treat animals far better than humans. 6 months ago, my friend Lee was contracted for a logo (they provided 7 options - which is a LOT) and their invoice was never paid. All communication ceased until Lee left a scathing review, which prompted Sanatoga to leave a voicemail asking for its removal. The audacity, the cowardice, the refusal to pay Black designers - it’s not a good look for Sanatoga. I hope you can find a more ethical hospital for your animals, because this shady, unprofessional business move makes me wonder what else goes on behind the scenes here.

Dr. Sharma is great, have been going there since 2005. Nade an appointment today, they called back and said per hasn't been there in a year, need a $30 deposit. Ridiculous

This veterinary clinic contracted a close friend of mine for a logo design and then dipped out after they created SEVEN mock ups. So incredibly unprofessional. I would rather take my 3 babies to somewhere that can follow through with their end of a bargain, and not stiff an artist during a pandemic.

Dr. Sharma is a warm and wonderful vet. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Emily could not get better care.

Good doctor and good people they take good care of your pets

Brought my dog to the vet today to get her shots up to date, due to covid I could not go in with her but I was able to video chat Dr. Sharma while he gave her the shots and clipped her nails and was still able to ask questions and feel like I was there. Staff was very helpful when my card declined and we tried different methods before calling my husband to try a different way (which worked). They were easy to schedule with and Miss Maisie (my dog) was actually very excited to meet some new faces while in the office. Thank you, Sanatoga Vet for taking such good care of my girl!
