They did wonders for my dog suffering from kidney disease. Dr. Kim Andersons cared for him as if he was her own. My only complaint is that you will pay a whole lot for their services.

Shouldn't have to wait on hold for hours

Thank you Plains Animal Hospital for accepting our 19 yr old dog Rocky after being turned away from the Emergency Plains clinic being told they are at capacity despite only 2 cars in lot. Anyway. We walked in unannounced and frantic with our dog who was having active seizures and with no appointment your staff immediately jumped into action taking him back for triage. Although Rocky crossed the rainbow bridge we cant thank the staff and the vets for providing exceptional care in our moment of despair. Your kindness and compassion was genuine and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. John & Brenda Bonk

The staff here is top notch. Sweet Pea and our new addition, Sputnik love Dr. Dorman. We love her as well. She remembers us from previous visits and is never in a rush to get you out the door. She's been our vet for many years.

Terrible care. Make an appointment and get turned away and sent to the emergency clinic next door who wasnt taking patients at the time! Totally wasted day.

I lost my dog. The staff were wonderful. Gave my family all the time we needed to say goodbye. They treated my fur baby with respect before and after and told us what would happen.

I had a good experience and I really appreciate therepet first approach they dont ask for your credit card before taking care of your pet. Both times I have taken my dogs to this hospital they treat me and my pets kindly and with respect.

Absolutely wonderful ???? Dr. Edwards is the most knowledgeable, compassionate and kindness VMD this world has to offer. The only very unfortunate thing I can say is that she has limited hours at Plains Animal Hospital but I would follow her across country for her to take care of my dog! Unfortunately, we were there for an emergency on a Saturday evening and the showed great patience, care and concern.

so i think they are pricey was charged a fee for my missed appt and then a late fee on top of that due to a ligitimate reason my dog went on the rug asked for papertowel and a bag and to clean it up and was charged a 5 dollar fee. dr ambrose is nice patient with my dog staff was friendly just the prices and fees are high

Refuse to let you get heart worm medication from chewy or 1800 petmeds. A online pharmacy with many accreditations. They say that they think chewy is selling counterfeit medications. Seriously???? They are all about making their money. This is totally an illegal practice and they know it! Don’t let them tell you its their policy! Its against the law in PA, per the veterinary medical board. If they can sell you the medication, they can write you a prescription to get the medicine a little cheaper else where! Do not recommend.

Was very happy they were able to get my cat Prints in for his emergency surgery and that I was able to purchase some of the prescribed food at the hospital

I have taken all my dogs to Plains Animal Hospital.The are the best of the best.Caring professional doctors and top notch staff. All of the doctors are excellent.I have gone to them for over 25 years. I thank them for all the have done.

Never will go to this place again... thats all I hot to say
