All the staff is super friendly and are working hard to help break my baby out of his shell. It’s nice he has somewhere to go and play with other dogs and be social especially now the weather is cold.

Love that the dogs get to run around all day and the staff know my dog's name. My puppy loves going to Camp Bow Wow and is aways tired when she gets home.

Unfortunately, we decided to discontinue our relationship with Camp Bow Wow in Highland Park due to a couple of incidents that just didn't feel right. The first incident was about two months ago. We went to pick up our Siberian Husky puppy as usual at the end of a busy day, she normally is very excited and happy to see us. But, on this occasion she seemed quite somber and more tired than usual and when I looked her over I found a bleeding wound on her leg. I asked what happened and without apology, I was informed that there was a 'play session gone a little wrong' that had happened around noon that day. Again, I was picking up our dog at around 5pm -only to be told she had been accosted nearly 5 hours earlier in the day and apparently no-one thought to inform us or clean her up and she was left in the same space with the dog that bothered her for the rest of the day. I asked explicitly that if there was a next time something like that happened, they call us immediately and that they keep our dog separated from the dog that hurt her. Our dog is very sweet, very loving and has never shown aggression toward us, another human or another dog. So, we were very worried that if she was exposed to this other dog again, something would happen. We continued to take our dog to Camp Bow Wow and requested each time that she be separated from that dog and that she not be put in the larger dog area -she is on the cusp of 45-50lbs and really quite small compared to the majority of dogs in the large dog area. But, each time we were met with resistance by the various staff working the front desk. That is, we were frankly made to feel ridiculous for even asking. But, ultimately they agreed and we tried to let it go. About three weeks ago though, we picked up our dog at the end of the day again as usual -only to find a large red welt on her leg in a different place, bleeding again. Her fur was literally gone where there was a bleeding welt. There was no explanation and there was no acknowledgment of the wound. We often watched the live cameras to ensure our dog was OK while at Camp Bow Wow -typically there was only 1 camp staffer in each room with sometimes upwards of 25-35 dogs. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they literally were unaware of our dog's wound and therefore didn't tell us. Either way, whether they knew or did not know, it's a bad situation and not great for our girl. So we decided to find a new doggy day care. We're truly disappointed because we found Kim, our dog's initial trainer, to be really helpful and professional. But, after reading other negative reviews for Camp Bow Wow Highland Park (which are few but, notable) about other dogs that had the same experience and ultimately never got help, we decided not to risk our pup's safety anymore. At our new doggy day care, we can see how overcrowded and unclean Camp Bow Wow is in comparison so, in addition to our concerns about our dog's safety, we also see that the conditions of Camp Bow Wow simply aren't up to our standards.

Camp Bow Wow has been fantastic for our dog. He can't wait to go to day camp, and he really enjoyed his recent boarding experience. The team take great care of him, are quick to alert us to any concerns, and our dog definitely loves and trusts them! Recently our dog moved up from the small dogs room to balanced play, and the care that was taken with this process (essentially reinterviewing our dog to make sure he was comfortable in the larger compound) reinforced why I trust Camp Bow Wow Highland Park with my dog. I recommend Camp Bow Wow to everyone I know with dogs!

Excellent customer service and a staff of dog lovers! My pup had a great time and the staff gave me oodles of information and coupons. I really enjoyed receiving the welcome packet, it's a nice touch.I also love that I can check in during the day using the webcams and see how my dog is doing.

When Socrates and Marmaduke can't be my "co-workers" at home, there's nowhere they would rather be than Camp Bow Wow ???? The staff are attentive, reservations are easy peasy through the website, love being able to check in via the web cams, and my boys come home tuckered out ???? I couldn't ask for more!

Michelle, Sam and everyone I’ve had spoken with have truly been GREAT. I made the mistake of hiring someone from a dog care website to watch my boy for the weekend, thinking he’d enjoy the one on one attention. When I found out that Atti was being mistreated, I spoke with Sam and he was able to find space for Atti and got him out of an abusive and possibly dangerous situation. When I picked up Atti from his eventful weekend, he was happier than usually to seem me but he was still happy to stay and hangout with all of the camp councilors. Trust your gut when it comes to finding daycare and overnight boarding. Atti loves and TRUSTS everyone at Camp Bow Wow in Highland Park and I won’t take that for granted again.

Brought my older Amercian Staffordshire Terrier, Bella, here for a short weekend stay in Winter 2020 and couldn't be happier! Sam and Michelle treated my Bella like their own. My dog was abused/neglected at another area kennel  but was treated so much better at this facility! Sam and Michelle were so friendly, attentive, caring, and professional! Plus, Sam did an EXCELLENT job keeping me informed and I loved the 24/7 webcam access via the app to keep an eye on my dog. If you need your pets taken care of while in or out of town, this is the place for you! They care for your animals the way you want them to be taken care of. I Highly recommend! FIVE STARS all around!

We LOVE Camp Bow Wow!! We first attended to enroll our pup in training courses, and quickly become regular attendees because of their phenomenal staff and services. After his first day-care stay, everyone seemed to know our pup by name and gave him so much love when we entered. Even watching through the streaming cameras, you can tell that the staff here cares so dearly about every single dog. Kim is especially fantastic - her training skills are a true talent and I think my dog might love her more than he does me! I recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a daycare, boarder, or trainer.

The staff at the Highland Park location are absolutely amazing. I have every bit of confidence that they learn, know, and love each of the dogs that come through the doors. My puppy is always so excited when we get out of the car and walk up the stairs to enter the building — and is equally as excited when seeing her friends (both human and canine!) when she gets to go in. I’ve never once felt that she was uncomfortable or mistreated, because she always seems SO eager to get to playing when we arrive. On top of that, the manager Michele is such a wonderful trainer and human being. I took my pup through Level One training - and she was so accommodating, seeing that my puppy was MUCH smaller than the rest of the class. On top of this, she offered to wait on starting a Level Two course until I could wait for my puppy to recovery from her spay surgery — while also offering to help look after her at camp during that process if things got “too overwhelming for me.” This is SO appreciated and truly made me feel like a valued customer. I will absolutely be returning and keeping my monthly membership for my pup — and encouraging any dog-owning friends I have/make to check out the Highland Park Camp Bow Wow!

Good people, nice facilities, reasonable prices, and my dog loves to come here. My only complaint is that I can only reach someone by phone about 50% of the time, which is frustrating because 1) it’s convenient to call to see if I can do an early pick up (and if they have remembered to bathe my dog), and 2) this is such an easy problem to solve - we’ve had cordless phones for roughly three decades now...

We know and trust the team at Camp Bow Wow. You have been taking care of our dog Thor for two years now. Thor is an anxious guy and is nervous around people but you know just how to make him feel safe and help him have fun at camp, which also eases our fears about leaving him so we are all happy! You are always very helpful, caring, kind and informative. We wouldn't take him anywhere else.

I recently took my dog to Camp Bow Wow Highland Park for the first time. I needed to make boarding plans last minute, and they were able to schedule an "interview" and trial day for my dog quickly, so that I was able to do so. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to both me and my dog throughout the entire process. In addition, it was really reassuring to be able to see my dog on the live video throughout his stay. I will definitely use Camp Bow Wow Highland Park in the future!

We were in Pittsburgh for almost 3 months due to the COVID-19 situation and sent our dog to Camp Bow Wow the entire time. He was immediately welcomed by the entire staff, treated like royalty, and absolutely loved going to camp every day. He came home very tired, which was music to our ears. We also used their boarding and grooming services and found the hours, pricing, service, and quality to be top-notch. We could not recommend Camp Bow Wow enough; we just wish we had a location close to us so we could keep sending him!

We love the friendliness of the staff, and how our little guy is treated like one of the family. You guys know him almost as well as we do, so we feel completely comfortable having him come stay with you! The hours are convenient, the grooming services are top drawer, and we appreciate the clear and proactive communication whenever there is anything we should know about, including reminders for upcoming vaccinations. We love CBW!!!!
