VERY RUDE! My partner and I are home for the holidays and are wanting to adopt a kitten. This is something we’ve discussed for months and are very excited about. We called the shelter and inquired about their hours tomorrow. The woman on the other end of the phone explained that they are not doing adoptions until after the holidays, but we can make an appointment to see the available cats. I explained that unfortunately that won’t work for our timeline as we have to drive home on Wednesday. The woman we spoke to was very rude and said “yeah I know you people. You want a pet for the holidays and then you’re going to return it as soon as the holidays are over” and then hung up on me. It’s disappointing that the employee in charge of “pets in need” is so nasty to a future loving home.

I started volunteering here. It's small there's about 12 cats and one dog. Very very clean and the animals are an exceptional condition and well taken care of

Adopted 2 older cats from here. Very impressed with how Nancy and her crew takes care of theses kitties that need homes and how clean and her facility is! These kitties have a very nice place until they are adopted!

I called desperately looking for help. My parents are getting up there in age and have a cat that they can no longer take care of. They are looking to downsize and moving states away. I am trying to find a new home for the cat. I explained the situation to the woman on the phone. I got a lecture about how having an animal is a life long responsibility and should have the animal for the animals whole life. She rudely asked why I can't take the cat. I told her that I have a dog that does not get along with cats, or I would. I told her I'm just trying to find the best place for the cat. She continued to lecture me. I hung up on her because she was rude and wouldn't stop. I am trying my best. I'm not looking to throw the cat out. I just want the best possible solution.

We called to ask when they were open and the lady rudely hung up before my girlfriend could finish her thought. The staff should be trained to have proper phone etiquette.

Always a great experience. The animals they have for adoption seem to always be sweet and loving. Perfect place to go to adopt a new family member.

The owner is super sweet. I found the most loving cat at her facility. She truly cares for the well being of the animals. A great place to start your search.

We adopted our two cats from there, they are great people and do so much for the animals, they usually have 1 dog looking for adoption.
