Still 5 stars. My chocolate lab's vet. Just did surgery on my guy and not only passion for the animals but pure professionalism as well as informative. Highly recommend.

Totally awesome experience. Dr. Ramos Rivera is very knowledgeable and spent like 45 minutes with me for just a routine visit! She even clipped her back nails for no cost. Very compassionate and the best vet I’ve been to. You can tell animals are her passion. Very reasonably priced too for the visit and vaccines.

Possibly the most understanding and considerate vet in the Mechanicsburg Area, and her assistants are always polite and considerate! Always given spectacular service and highly recommend you take your furry friends here!

Very informative and helpful. I always appreciate Dr. Ramos-Rivera taking the time to explain every appointment all while comforting our dog Rex. We are glad to have found such a great Veterinarian close to home.

All heart and expertise combined with personalized care to both pet and pet parent which is very hard to find these days when big corporations are buying up veterinary practices dictating algorithmic and depersonalized care. Thank you to this Doctor and Team!

As a disabled veteran, not all places are wheelchair friendly. This place not only is, but the staff goes above and beyond to assist me, and well as the dog. Dr. Ramos-Rivera is.hands down the BEST veterinarian I have ever dealt with. She is kind, courteous, and caring, and not is knowledgeable about her patients but TRULY has a connection to them. If you are looking for an AMAZING team to handle your pets, look no further. She, Gabi, as we as myself both love this place in spades.

Dr Ramos is extremely thorough, professional, and caring. She provides a tremendous wholistic approach. She explains in ways to help you understand her findings and perspective while also allowing your input and perspective and involves you in the decisions for planned treatment.

This was our first time going to Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic, and it was one of the best experiences. Our dog, Ell has shown anxiety behavior tendencies and we wanted a consult with Dr Ramos. It has been the best vet visit for Ell that we have seen! She was totally calm and actually fell asleep on the exam room floor as Dr Ramos and I were talking. I liked the option of having a private waiting room area; it sets the relaxing mood:) I liked the fact the Dr Ramos suggested letting Ell off leash while in the exam room, so she could check things out. Ell even was that comfortable that she talked to Dr Ramos when she discovered there were treats in the counter! We will definitely be going back to Dr Ramos with Ell and our other pets!

He had his annual health check up , he was very over weight. The Dr set us up with a new diet plan to get control of his over weight

Dr. Ramos is nothing short of amazing. She takes time to explain our dogs needs, how to treat him, what to look for and WHY things are happening that we don't fully understand. It's not unusual for her to personally contacts us the following day to see how he is doing. We trust her to the moon and back and highly recommend her to all. Thank you Dr. Ramos

We have 2 baby bunnies..Mylo and Otis. When we first adopted them, we thought both were girls. Well..come our surprise.. Mylo was a boy and Otis was a girl. We immediately separated them until both could be fixed. I recommend ANYONE who has a bunny that needs spayed or neutered to schedule your appointment with Gettysburg Animal Hospital. It cost $300 for both bunnies. NO ONE IN THE DAUPHIN , CUMBERLAND OR ADAMS COUNTIES will spay or neuter a bunny for less than $300, because no vet wants to do it. They took amazing care of our bunnies. They gave us medicine and instructions on how to give it. Needless to say, Mylo was back to his self that night and Otis took about a day and half. Both are so happy to be back together! We love Gettysburg Animal Hospital and recommend them to everyone!

Extremely happy with Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic. I'm new to the area I was trying to find a knowledgeable yet non-judgemental vet. I've gone to a couple around the area that high he's not a fan of at ALL! However the vet here as knowledge and compassion no matter how you decide to care for your pet. I have gone to many vets that do not prefer the raw diet and instead of giving me factual information about do's and don'ts they provide their opinion and tell me all the dangers and then I just shouldn't do it. Where this vet provide insight and knowledge and things to be aware of and the benefits of it rather than just telling me she doesn't agree and I shouldn't do it. I really appreciate that about a vet somebody who gives you information so you can make an informed decision rather than just opinion it's based in fear and ignorance on a particular topic. I appreciate the need to be well-informed not to be told how to do things with my dog rather provide me information so I can make an informed choice.

most caring and compassionate vet ever...

I love taking my pup to this place. And I know she loves going here. There is never a long wait time, and they get us in with in the week I call. Lucy has some issues getting along with other dogs. They always accommodate her by making her appointments easy, monitoring other appointments and dogs coming and going while we there. Dr. Ramos-Rivera always takes her time and doesn't treat Lucy any different because of her breed. The staff are always friendly and I have never had any issues.
