Our cat, Mittens is not a people cat and is very fearful. They took good care of him despite him giving them a hard time (he was not happy at all). The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. And you can call to check in on your fur baby. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of their services.

Had an awesome experience with leaving my dog here for a few days. Staff is great and they took good care of my boy. Emma the groomer did a wonderful job! My boy came home looking so handsome. I absolutely LOVE that they send you home with a report card of how your pet did while in their care. I will definitely be using their services again.

I dropped my 11 month on French Bulldog off last Friday (10/7) to try out day care for a half day. When my dog walked out he was petrified, shaken up, his face was red and he had two gashes on his face. When I picked him up, I was told by the man working the front desk “oh I meant to call you” after the kind lady who walked him out told me what happened. That a big dog “scratched him” during play time and that the dog who hurt him is banned from the pay group..which makes me believe he was BIT not scratched. She even told me that the people in the day care were worried about him, so they had the groomers check him out. If your employees are worried about him, don’t you think you should call the parents of the dog immediately? I also was told that he was placed in a “villa” after he was pulled from the group because he was hurt. So rather than call me to come pick him up, they put my scared and hurt puppy into a kennel BY HIMSELF! I still have no idea he was alone for. He walked out of there beyond scared and more importantly, he’s hurt. There should NOT be one big play group. He is a small dog, he should be with other small dogs. He will not be returning and I will not reccomend this day care to others. I am upset with myself that I didn’t trust the reviews on Google. Please learn from my Mistake and do not send your pet here. I also would like to add I emailed the daycare regarding this incident as soon as I got home from picking him up, and haven’t heard back since.

Not a fan and I really tried to give this place a chance. We boarded for the first time and the cameras weren't working. I called to see why and check in on my dog, I wasn't called back for an entire day and then given a very rude answer as to why the cameras weren't on. I gave it another chance anyway. This time over 5 days the cameras were not on once which makes me think they don't even have the dogs playing. My dog came home with kennel cough and a UTI and no collar. She was so freaked out and hadn't been let out in so long when I picked her up she peed all over the lobby while she cried. It was disturbing. We won't be going back and the vet bills were a fortune.

After one week stay, our cat was home and comfortable. Just as she was :) I was super paranoid but everything was flawless, service was good, and the facility looked very well kept!

To all my local pet owners: I don't ever do this but this was just terrible and I want other dog lovers to know. Do NOT board your dog at this place. We have used this place 3 or 4 times now for boarding our dog. (No known issues previously). This last time was just awful. I went to pick him up after he stayed there for 4 nights. I was given his bag of belongings, only to find literally ALL of the food that I packed for him still inside. I was surprised and confused. I individually labeled and measured every meal of his in sandwich bags, and every single one, seemingly untouched was there in front of me. When I asked the young man working the desk about the food, he casually responded that my dog ate, there were no issues he was aware of, and it appeared that he had eaten all of his meals, based of what he was looking at on his screen. Yet, here I am standing looking at all the full bags I packed for him. He also said he wouldn't really be able to provide me with information about what I was asking (unhelpful). He didn't offer to look into it, ask around for more clarity, or even apologize! If I didn't have my young daughter there with me, I would have pushed way more. I was beyond annoyed but figured, okay I'll write them an e-mail, because what happened I feel is unacceptable, and I am owed an explanation of what happened. Because either my dog did not eat his designated meals, or was given other dog food while in their care for the last 5 days. The relaxed response I received was off-putting and surprising, as this should be taken seriously. Thankfully, my dog has no known allergies and I assume had no digestive issues or else I should have received a phone call while I was away. And he has seemed fine since being home. I'm not sure how this matter went unnoticed or ignored for 5 days by likely multiple employees without being corrected. I paid you over $300 and expect my dog is being given the correct food and being given loving care. I have now sent TWO e-mails that have gone unanswered. My next step is to try and get a manager on the phone, and at this point, not use them again. I would have accepted an apology of mixing up the food and using the wrong one, and the sense that they cared there was such a mistake made, and wanting to help provide some reassurance. But unfortunately, that hasn't been the case with them. Will not go there again.

I left my dog at this hotel for four days. Upon walking in the lady at the front desk was very rude to us and to another customer that was there as well. The outside area is filthy and looks to not even be cleaned regularly. My dog came back skinner than he’s ever been, had these big welts on his arms and also had kennel cough. We asked them to groom him and to brush his teeth and clean his ears, they did a poor job with the grooming and his ears and teeth were not even cleaned. I would not recommend leaving your animals here

I was very happy with their service, my cat acted very naturally with the handler that went to get her for me - so that made me feel sure she was treated well and had acclimated nicely during her 1 week stay. I will definitely use them again!

This place is the worst. When I picked up my dog he smells like urine, and he had to go pee which was bright yellow and he peed for 1 minute nonstop. He also came back with diarrhea. I think they did not take him out for potty break and he peed himself inside his kennel. When I picked him up, He looked like he was traumatized. Definitely not coming back here.

My Kacey is 14 years old, has a paralyzed leg, and has never been boarded before. She came back happy, groomed, and well-cared for. I was very pleased.

We got a dog during Covid and we were worried about how Akela would be socialized during a pandemic. Luckily this place was 5 minutes away from our house. He gets the socialization he needs, learned good dog manners for friendly interactions, and the Joe and Breanna are great with him! Akela (our dog) loves going there and spending time with the humans and the dogs of course.

I boarded both of my dogs for the weekend. Besides the high prices and the long waits, i didn’t mind because the older woman was very nice. When I picked up my dogs however, i was very concerned. My dogs acted like they weren’t let outside to use the bathroom all day. They almost couldn’t make it on the 10 minute car ride. They both went more times and longer than I’ve ever seen. They were also starving and seemed like they had not had any water for days. I’ve boarded my dogs dozens of times at our previous kennel, and this is the first time I felt nervous about how my dogs were cared for.

If I could give zero stars I would! The appearance of this place is deceiving. You walk in to what looks to be a high end hotel to only find out that they fall way short of their promises. I was charged $65 a day to board my dog and this included one on one time with the workers at this place. I was in tears when I picked up my 6lb, loving sweet Yorkie after coming back from vacation to find him soiled in urine. The person who checked me out said they didn't have a chance to groom him so we sprayed him real quickly. The car ride home was awful!!!! My husband, son, and I had all the windows opened as we could barely stand the awful stench. I sent an e-mail hoping they would respond to my concerns and NOTHING!!!! I am sick to may stomach knowing that our family pet was absolutely not cuddled during the time he was in this place, because we could barely stand to be in a car with him, so we highly DOUBT anyone spent time with him. I will be reporting this place to anyone that I can report them to!!!!!! I highly advise against using them. I want to have them investigated for ANIMAL CRUELTY. It is awful and I am terrified to trust anyone with our dog after this terrible experience. DO NOT USE THEM FOR BOARDING UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE FOR YOUR PET BEING MISTREATED. I am sick that my final bill was $657 and I got no response regarding my concerns. AWFUL!!!!!!! NEG NEG NEG NEG Stars. By the way we had to bathe our dog several times before we could get rid of the smell.

We used Best Friends Pet Hotel for the first time last weekend. A family member picked my 11 year old dog up for me, and when I arrived to get him he was dirty and smelled of urine. He was scheduled to go back again later this month, and when I called to cancel due to the terrible condition my dog was in, there was no concern for the treatment my dog received in their care. No animal deserves to sit in their own urine for days!

I was very excited when I found of about this place! I went to visit this weekend and the place looked so dirty, and the smell was so intense. I get it, dogs are going to smell, and that is normal but this was dirty smell. Everything they showed me was dirty and bad looking. The person that gave me "tour" was nice but he didn't show any interest of knowing when I needed the service, what type of dogs I had or anything. I had high expectations after looking at the website and reviews but I saw the opposite. Unfortunately, I won't be leaving my dogs here, I just hope things get better here because it looked like a great place.

I've been taking my rotti to Best Friends since they were at the old facility. My dog loves this place. She is a big dog so not everywhere knows how to handle them. The staff here is great. It's a little pricey but I won't board my dog anywhere else.

I did not have a good experience. They were very uninformative, did not ask any details about my dogs eating schedule or care to let me know he was going to be isolated at the age of 7 months because he was not neutered. He is so well behaved and a golden retriever, everywhere else I have taken him has given him a behavior test and let him be with the other dogs. My sister also had her dog boarded there at the same time and we asked if he could play with my dog, but at the end of the week they returned THE WRONG DOG to her, making me think they let a different dog other than my sisters play with my dog Hank all week. Overall it was just a disappointing experience for having to pay SO MUCH. Rates were too expensive. And not to mention I paid for grooming to be done and they said they didn’t have time because I came “too early” even though they told me to come anytime from 9am-12pm. So my dog smelled like poop and pee.. after five baths finally smells ok. They did take the charges off for that but still, would not recommend this branch.

Took my 9 year old shep mix in for his first ever shedicure. The groomer was nice and did a lovely job. He took to her rather quickly, which is rare for my old boy.prices were fair. Days later, even with the rain, and he still smells good. Lol was well worth it. Will go again.

This is a safe, clean and caring place for dogs and I guess cats...but I boarded dogs. They offer lots of play time if your dog gets along well in a group and fair one on one time if your dog doesn't. Indoor and outdoor play areas. There are cameras on the play areas so you can watch your dog playing, but not on the individual boarding areas. The price is fair for what you get. There is nothing better than peace of mind.

The staff is amazing, and takes such great care of my Captain. I especially love to show off the party photos from Bre, she does an amazing job. The whole staff, Anna, Harley, anthony, and Shaun love my dog like he is their own. Thank you all for all that you do.

The Dillon Family has been using Best Friends/Willow Grove PA for years! Our Bassetts always enjoy their day of Beauty! Today was a new experience for our new baby boy Patrick & he did great! Candice loves our Fur Babies as much as we do! Today we also toured the facilities to use their Boarding facilities & we were pleasantly surprised by how nice their place is for our puppies! Bree did a great job explaining what their day will be like & answered all our questions! I highly recommend this Best Friends & their associates Candice & Bree!!

Took our Bichon for grooming after a recommendation from a friend. It's the worst cut ever. They shaved him all the way down, and the little bit of hair left is uneven. We were charged extra for dematting, and they didn't even try. His appointment was for 10:30, and wasn't done until 4:00. Came home very thirsty, I wonder if he ever got water. I would give zero stars if possible!
