Dr. Kevin is the best vet I've dealt with in the area, and one of the only ones I've found that sees guinea pigs.

We recently moved to Hershey and adopted two kitties. We left behind a vet we loved in Utah and were worried we weren't going to be able to find one we liked here. Luckily for us we found Hershey Veterinary Hospital. They have been amazing! They have always been able to get us in super fast and are very thorough to make sure our concerns and issues are addressed and the appropriate care is given to our boys. We couldn't be happier.

Good treatment. Often busy but thorough and attentive in kenneling.

Every time I come here I call and sit in the parking lot for 20 or 30 minutes plus, after arriving on time for my appointment time. Today I sat there for 20 plus minutes and finally had to leave to pick up my 6 year old from school. Get a call from a woman telling me they came out and I wasn't there. I said, yeah, I had to leave to get my kid. She acts all put out and asks, well, are you coming back? I told her my issue, instead of apologizing, tells me they are doing the best they can. We exchange more words, not once did she apologize during the entire conversation. Save yourself the trouble, find somewhere else to take your pets.

Glad I found this vet for my Mei Mei and Pooh definitely worth the drive great Vet here new to the area and so glad I choose this place for my Pomeranians love that they send a text reminder to since I’m forgetful glad that the vet is so caring as well

We moved to the Hershey area about three years ago. We found Hershey Veterinary Hospitals to be one of the best. The prices are comparable to other Veterinary Hospitals. Dr. Kevin and his team take their time to explain what is going on with our two dogs. I would highly recommend Dr. Kevin and his team to anyone.

The vet is very good, as far as I can tell. But the staff are the worst. They don’t keep up with appointments. You’ll never be seen on time. Miscommunication between the staff. They don’t tolerate client’s frustration, when they wait in the parking lot for over an hour. Just really bad service. I only appreciate the vet in this place. Nothing else! They are also very costly, you’d at least think you’ll get treated professionally but that’s just not the case.

They were very quick to get us in and we're very thorough with their explanation of services. Reasonable pricing and very friendly staff!

Great, caring doctor and helpers. I had a very sick 5month old kitten, but by Saturday evening she was starting to perk up. I'm very grateful for their care and help.

We can't say enough good about this practice! We were only here for a week and needed to treat a long-term issue with our Beagle. As we traveled, vets wouldn't even listen to our problem and dismissed us. Once I called HVH, they were able to get us in first thing the next morning. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Kevin, the Veterinarian, took his time to listen and read the records from the dog's history. He didn't recommend any unnecessary testing and gave her the treatment that has been working to date. Kevin is no-nonsense and is very good at explaining the reason for things. We were so glad to have found them and highly recommend them!

Dr. Kevin is awesome and so is the staff. Helpful, knowledgeable, and great overall customer service. My cats are respected and handled well. I highly recommend this vet, but it us on the pricey side.

Can’t say enough good things! Originally I contacted this vet in a possible emergency this past June(2021). I called just about every vet in a 20 mile radius to me and the vets were either not taking new clients or couldn’t get my kitten in, even for an emergency. They got him in the NEXT day even when I called later on in the day. Dr.Kevin is very personable and comes out to see his clients to converse and chat about any worries he or the client may have. You can tell he cares about the animals because he shows genuine concern and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. My kitten had a reoccurring issue due to infection and Dr.Kevin only charged for the medicine when we had come back which is extremely reasonable! He likes to schedule check ups to see how his patients are doing because he genuinely cares and he doesn’t charge for these checkups either! Dr.Kevin and his team are always so caring and I’m so glad I found a great vet! Great staff, great prices, great morals, great commmnication!

I brought my new puppy there recently and the staff and vet have been nothing but amazing! They are so responsive, answer the phone quickly and are upbeat and kind. Dr. Kevin is very hands-on and thorough with my puppy. This vet always has appointments too which is a huge plus for me.

My wife has been going to Hershey Vet since 1995, the service and advise on the care of our pets have been outstanding. The staff and Dr. Kevin are top notch people. In addition, since the introduction of a grooming service, we take our little dog there for grooming.

I would advise anyone thinking of using this Veterinary hospital to seek business else where. This Vet hospital seems to be more focused on up charging you then the well being of your pet. We took our 14 week sphynx cat there for a check up. They don’t let you in even with restrictions being lifted. They gave us a long list of vaccines he would need without doing any research on vaccines he had already been given. On that list of vaccine one of them was FeLV, that vaccine is highly not recommended for this breed of cat and could have killed him! Our Vet Kevin was very rude and dismissive. He came to our vehicle with a list of vaccines and test. We had questions as to what was all on that list. Kevin was annoyed by any questions we had in our brief interaction and condescending with his answers. Rushing and being dismissive leads to mistakes that can not happen such as recommending a shot that is deadly to our breed of cat! As professionals it’s your job to know what our pets can and can not have. I do Not recommend this place.

This vet is so incredible! one of my favorite things they do, which there are many is, call us the animals parents. He is soo knowledge and will always go above and beyond to help any animal.

They take good care of my cats

The ethos of "you get what you pay for" is quite relevant here. You will probably pay a bit more to have your pets seen, but I would argue that Dr. Kevin is worth it. He took good care of my late cat in his final months and helped him pass away with comfort and dignity, and he has been following my two current cats through the first four years of their lives. My cats are indoor and have been generally healthy, so their visits to Dr. Kevin have been mostly limited to checkups, but in that rare instance where they had a health issue show up, they were able to get an appointment in a hurry (like, within 3 days). Dr. Kevin is clearly knowledgeable and in all cases so far was immediately able to discern either what was going on, or what tests he needed to figure that out. He handles my cats with confidence, yet sensitivity, and I am happy to pay the extra premium if it means I can trust my cat's veterinarian without reservation to take good care of them.

First official vet visit for my 2 boys since adoption (6 month old cats) the staff really seemed to care and the doc came out to the car to talk over treatments and was very good. Will return.

First time here. They were very good and the whole visit was pleasant. Reasonably priced and awesome service. They actually care about the animals and not just how much they are making. This will be my full-time vet for sure. Thank you guys

Five stars all the time for this fantastic establishment. I know my pup George is always in good hands here no matter what the topic may be. I adopted George two months ago amd he had his compete work-up done here. All the staff here is fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable. They always explain everything in full detail as well. I just made my first grooming appointment for George also to be done here. I was unaware that they had grooming here also. But that's great to know. All my pup needs taken care of in one fantastic place!!

We switched vets to here. Love it. They did a dental on our dog Diamond and it was great. Nice staff.

Dr. Kevin is amazing!! He is thorough and treats both your pet and you with great care and concern. The staff and techs are all fantastic and have excellent customer service and "bedside" manner as well. His hours are accommodating and it's easy to get your pet in to be seen in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

I had my dog with me while visiting family, and needed an emergency vet appointment. They got me in the next day, and were incredibly friendly and thorough. While a little bit on the expensive side, I feel assured that nothing was missed and the doctor clearly explained what they were doing and why. Thanks so much for your help in a pinch!

Fantastic experience. Made the appointment online and called when I got there. They came right out to pick up my guinea pig girls. Super friendly and masked as well. Was a quick appointment and the vet came out to talk with me too. Gave me instructions which I was very happy for. And took my payment at my truck. Very happy.
