Almost five years ago, we woke up one morning knowing our sweet, silly, puggle was suffering and in pain. Our regular vet was closed and the emergency line referred us to Keystone. These folks didn't know us from Adam. We got there and had …

I literally called an hour ago to double check, confirm and ask about medications that should not be taken together in lieu of interactions. The girl was rude on the phone. I was chastised for not calling the regular vet who has them on the answering services in case of emergency. My husband also heard the entire conversation. No need to be treated that way when I am trying to be sure my dog is safe. Shame on you!

I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. I had to rush my cat to them pre-COVID and they were extremely sympathetic and helpful when I had to make the decision to put her down. Since then, I've had to visit twice with other pets and they were thorough, helpful and kind.

The place is horrible. My dog had a life and death situation and they would not see him. I had to go out of my way to get help. He was choking on a ball

Horrible place!! Run if you care about your pet! If only I had known, my pup is gone and I’m devastated! It all went wrong, lack of compassion and a total rip off! All about the money! Hospitalize or euthanize, I was not offered a conservative treatment that day. Totally blindsided by the fast talking, doctor there! Apparently my pup was “really” sick! He was on my lap looking out the car window and had walked in to the hospital. He wasn’t feeling well, but near death, no way!! Just read their reviews!???? 1000.00 later, blood work, euthanasia, and my baby came home in a little brown box????. I’d say a good pay day with no effort for Keystone! I’m just devastated!

Do NOT take your pet to this vet. They DO NOT care and my kitten was almost euthanized because they diagnosed her with CANCER just by "looking" at her for 15 minutes while I had to stay outside in my car. I asked if they did any tests and they told me "no, we have been doing this for years and your kitten is dying. If you are not going through with treatment, you need to get her euthanized". I was billed almost $300 for NOTHING. They did no blood work, no testing on the lumps, NOTHING. My kitten ended up only having mammary hyperplasia; TREATABLE, and besides some discomfort, NOT DEADLY. Had I not gotten second opinions, my kitten would not be here today. Their assistants and doctors are terrible with no compassion whatsoever, all they care about is making you vulnerable and snatching you money in the process. From reading other reviews, they do this ALL the time. If I could give 0 stars, I would!

Took my fur baby in an emergency and lost him 4 days later after they told me his blood work was “pristine “. My bulldog, Judge, collapsed on me on November 2, 2021 while he was gagging. I explained his symptoms. They did blood work and wanted to do another $400 X-ray to check his lungs even though I told them he didn’t throw up. Apparently, even though he had heart symptoms, they never bothered to do any heart tests? I lost my boy 4 days later. I wouldn’t recommend this place in an emergency for your baby.

Yesterday we had to put down our beloved 19 year old chihuahua mix I had been going to another vet for years. They stated they had 24 hours vet care I called them and told them that my dog was sick. They told me she couldn’t Be seen. They had several critical patients and referred me to Keystone. I called and they saw our beloved dog I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff and vet. Thank you,

I can't say enough about how amazing the staff and KVER truly are. They responded to my phone call with such concern, made an immediate appointment for my sick puppy and within an hour were able to diagnosis and treat my pup. Their love for their jobs shows I am truly thankful

After having a horrible experience with Bluepearl Animal Hospital in Levittown, I called Keystone which is nearly an hour from my home, and they assured me that they are an emergency hospital and there isn't an emergency too small for them to turn any animal away. We trekked the hour out there and when I say it was worth every minute- it really was! The staff was so pleasant and made me feel very comfortable having my baby there! Delilah was well taken care of, the prices were fantastic, and they were urgent in making sure she was okay ???? We will definitely be back again, if not to be seen, to visit and thank them for saving my baby's life????

I cant say enough about how compassionate and understanding all tje staff is at Keystone Emergency, we had to make the difficult decision and say goodbye to our 15 year old cat, We found himself a kitten. Elizabeth at Keystone Emergency Animal Hosp was so compassionate and empathetic, she fit us in the same day, everyone there from Elizabeth to the Dr. to the Nurse/Tech was so great, they treat us and our furbaby with respect, compassion and empathy. At tje end Elizabeth came back in with a special card for parents bringing home their furbabies, a beautiful & thoughtful gift.

We took our 8.5 y/o dog to Keystone late this afternoon after almost a week of stomach upset. It may not sound like such an emergency, but when your dog never has a sensitive stomach, you get worried. Keystone is very thorough in the way they triage, as well as keeping you up to date while your pet is in their care. Due to COVID protocol, we were not allowed in with our dog. It made us feel much better having such clear communication from the doctor herself as well as the other employees. You can tell that the entire staff truly cares about all of the animals they are coming in contact with. We we’re pointed in their direction by a recommendation from a friend and would happily do the same to anyone in need of emergency or 24/7 vet care.

Not happy with them at all. Seems like they do not want to work here. They did everything in their power to push us to other vets. I highly recommend looking somewhere else this place obviously has enough customers and money they do not need any new ones.

I had such a great experience with Keystone! My regular vet (Stoney Creek) had detected super high liver values in my cat but after having an ultrasound that didn't show anything remarkable, they were going to check her again in a month. No sense of urgency at all. A few days later she was visibly jaundiced, throwing up and not eating. The one good thing my vet did was recommend Keystone and I'm so happy they did! She had pancreatitis. Everyone I dealt with, be it doctors or nurses, was kind and compassionate and genuinely seemed to care about my girl. They got her on the road to recovery and she's doing great now! I can't thank them enough. I felt comforted in knowing she was in good hands.

This place is amazing!! Long story short my baby was sick and I was freaking out! She’s never been sick like this! Everyone was so attentive and assured me that they would do the best they could for her. I knew she was in good hands when the doctor came! He gave me some scenarios of way cold possibly be the issue from the information that I gave him. Every step of the way they came and spoke to me and said what they were going to do and let me know how my baby was. Everyone was so sweet and knowledgeable and patient with me I was a nervous wreck!! They told me if anything changes call them back immediately. I’m so satisfied with them and the care they gave Charlotte! Thank you guys so much!!!

The staff and doctors at this establishment were amazing. They have treated 2 of my dogs now and I have not one single complaint. They were very patient and went above and beyond. They kept me updated through every test and procedure and when I called in to check on my dog, they were more than happy to share updates. The people on here complaining about prices should know that when you own a pet, you also assume there will be costs associated when your pet needs urgent medical care. Just like a human would if they showed up to the ER. The prices were very reasonable considering the situation and I don’t feel that one cent was wasted. I have taken my pets to Hope and VRC and had absolutely terrible experiences. I recommend this establishment to every pet parent I come in contact with. We appreciate you Keystone! Keep up the great work!

My fur baby, Lucy, had been scratching herself for about two weeks. Yesterday she started vigorously shaking her head almost non stop. Of course it was evening and my vet was closed. They referred me to KVER as an emergency. I thought, " this is gonna hurt the pocketbook" but to my surprise they were thorough in evaluating and diagnosing her for a fair emergency visit. Of course due to covid I could not go in the building but they called me with everything about Lucy. They didn't let us wait too long outside and kept in touch often. The staff was friendly, kind, and sympathetic to my dog. They took good care of her! Thank you staff & doctors at KVER!!

They saved my foster kitten last night. I am a foster cat mom who works with a local shelter to care for the sick and unweaned babies until they’re big enough to be adopted, so I’ve had more than my share of middle of the night emergency vet trips for crashing kittens. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I pull into their parking lot with a sick little guy, because the compassion and care they show my babies has always been above and beyond, and last night they were there for us again when we needed them. Pibb the kitten was doing alright around dinner time, but within two hours was too sick and weak to lift his head up. When I saw his thousand yard stare and shallow breathing, I knew he needed immediate care, so we loaded him up for one of our midnight runs to Havertown. Turns out he was running a 105 degree fever, and had become dehydrated. They got him turned around, and as always they answered all of my questions patiently and kindly. You can tell that they care and we always feel like the animals we bring them are in good hands. Thank you for saving little Pibb last night. (Pibb was much too busy with breakfast to pose for a photo but he thanks you too.)

Avoid this place at all cost if you care about your pet. I took my dog in for an emergency because she was suddenly lethargic and trembling, after an hour of waiting outside due to COVID restrictions they said that they ran a blood test and completely exam her and that everything was fine other than an urinary tract infection. The vet gave her some antibiotics and anti-inflammation pills and sent us home. A few hours later my dog passed away. I'm starting to suspect that no test was even done and they were just taking advantage of the fact that we couldn't enter the building and see what they were actually doing. Please, don't make the same mistake as I did, just save yourself the trouble and heartache and just go somewhere else where they actually care.

The nurses and vets here have saved my puppy’s life twice now. We highly recommend them and are thrilled to have them nearby. Extremely kind, understanding and thoughtful staff. Overly attentive and supportive during difficult emergency situations. 24x7 ER vet care in the neighborhood - that can’t be beat. We are very grateful for their care of our puppy.

I am deeply appreciative for the staff here. They were kind and compassionate when I had to bring my dog to put him to sleep. It was one of the saddest moments of my life but the people here made sure that my dog went in peace with dignity. I am so grateful.

This place is great! My dog was having a heat stroke and they immediately took the necessary steps to regulate her temperature while walking me through the whole process. My pup was ready to come home within three hours of getting there.

We aren’t ones to generally leave reviews either good or bad. Taking your pet to the vet clinic is never a good time but the staff at Keystone have always done their best to make us and our pets feel as comfortable as possible. Janelle and Crystal always go above and beyond to make sure all of our questions are answered. Truly an All-Star team and so professional. If you need vet services for your pet this is the place!
