Petco Exton, Pennsylvania

The employees at this location are horrible. We went in at 830 Pm the store is open till 9pm as soon as we walked in the girl wearing all black with long hair comes running up to us telling us the store is closed we asked her a simple question anyone working in a pet store should be able to answer we get a blank stare followed by ‘I don’t know ‘ with no attempt to get an answer as she states again the store is closing.! We were purchasing hundreds of dollars in merchandise and don’t appreciate being treated that way by a place of business if store hours are till 9pm I expect to be able to shop till 9pm this employee should not be working in a customer service position Also found out after vet visit Guinea Pig was not properly cared for by store and health issues were neglected..

Petco is expensive, but they have a lot of stuff to choose from. The reason for my visit was for the Vetco clinic to give my pet a shot. That clinic comes ones a week it is not permanent in the store.

We’ve shopped at this Petco for over 10 years. The staff use to be so professional, helpful, and caring. Now…the manager who’s been there since the beginning of this year (2021) is extremely unprofessional and has absolutely no customer service skills. After his extremely rude behavior during the last several shopping trips, we have changed where shop for pet supplies. Tried to give him a chance that it was a bad day we encountered him on - but after multiple bad experiences - we opted to not shop there any longer.

Super friendly and helpful staff! They helped me find a type of food I've been looking for forever and they actually know the products they sell so I also found them to be super helpful with questions.

This store is a bit drab. I went looking for cat food. They only had brands i had never heard of before. One of the ones I tried made my cat sick, not the stores fault I know. Its definitely not a PetSmart, the isles were full of pallets, couldn't maneuver the cart very well. Probably won't be back.

Spent quite a bit of money brought about 12 fish half of them died before we got home. We called and spoke to the manager. He told us it was our problem they didn't guarantee the fish. That will be the last time we will shop in this store or any Petco!!

I'm changing my rating from a 5 to a 3. That's how far this store has fallen. Lack of supplies and long checkout lines due to always having only one register open no matter what day or time of day. There used to be people there who would ask about your pet(s) and chat with your but no longer. They're all gone. Huge staff turnover.

Employee was very nice and gave me advice on bird treats for specific bird breeds. They were very helpful!

The person helping with the fish area was very knowledgeable on a few subjects I had to ask about concerning 2 different animals. Very friendly. I overheard her helping a customer before me and she definitely went above what was needed. Checking out was quick and easy.

I been comeing to this store for years. Lots of nice staff the people who work with the fish do a great job. I buy all of my fish from here.

I always shopped at PetSmart. I only went to Petco because when I adopted my dog at the local SPCA I was given a coupon. Well my dog is going through obedience training at Petco and the trainer is amazing!! While I was there I also bought a few things for my dog and I must admit that Petco carries better products than PetSmart. I no longer shop at PetSmart.

They did an amazing job grooming our Australian Shepherd!!!!
