I moved an hour away from home and found them for my vet here for the two dogs I brought with me two years ago. My one dog had surgery a couple months ago and they were awesome…. fast forward to today and my cat of 20+ years needing to cross the rainbow bridge.. they made sure even though that cat wasn’t a patient there that they took the best care of all of us. I drove an hour to make sure my pet had the best care and they definitely held up to that. No other place I’d go at this rate! Dr. Sara is amazing and truly cares.

Do NOT take your precious small animals here. My Bunny had a slight case of mites which is 100% treatable and they gave me a lethal dose of DOG medication. My baby bunny died the next day. Due to an over dose of the medication. Very unprofessional and lacks basic knowledge of small animals. Who gives a two pound bunny, fog medication ?

My dog had 3 surgeries in one day he had a hernia repair got neutered and had Entropion surgery. My dog will forever never look the same due to the eye lid surgery. They botched his face all up. He will have chronic eye infections and inflammation!!!! Worst vet ever!!!!

Everyone here is wonderful! Our cat got really sick twice in six months, and not only did they keep us updated while he was in their care, they always called after he was home to check in on him. The staff is super sweet, and I'm so happy we found them! April 2021 edit: one of our other cats suddenly got very sick and had to be put to sleep. Tabitha and Dr. Sara were so supportive and understanding, they made the tough day much easier for us. We also received a condolences card from the office in the mail a week later, which we all appreciated.

I am always pleased with the way the Vet tech and Vet treat my dog and cat. They are very professional and companionate. Thank you for caring about my fur babies as much as I do.

Have been going here for several years but not anymore!. First incident our dog ate something and they kept our dog over night to give fluids hoping she would pass the object. She did but they thought they still saw something on the xray so performed surgery and guess what?!?! Nothing there! Everyone told us to find another vet but we thought they were nice and wanted to keep it local for business. SECOND incident was we were told our dog tore her ACL (never did any imaging nor were we asked), they just felt the dog's leg and said we needed to see an Ortho specialist for dogs!!..guess what she healed within 1 week. THIRD and LAST time our dog got sick again, said we think it ate something again so we took our dog in,no xray done, vet felt stomach and intestinal area and said "well I don't feel any objects in there " and we were just given intestinal antibiotics and was told to call in the next day to bring her back if not better so we did and were told sorry no appointments and told us to go to urgent vet! So when the ER Vet confirmed on xray a foreign object was stuck we called and wanted a refund for that last office visit because now of their error of diagnosis and not properly doing an exam we are being charged 3 times the amount for surgery! Timberview got upset that we wanted a refund and canceled our account! Not even an apology or anything! Needless to say we go to Dover vet and they are awesome! Little further for us to go but well worth it!!

Timberview has been my Veterinary Doctor for years. The office is always clean and everyone is friendly and helpful; all staff members. When needed, if I've ever had to call after hours, Dr. Sara has immediately responded and even during regular hours was happy to speak to me on the phone or discuss my animals issue/s via email. Timberview will be happy to tell you where you can save money; even if it means purchasing elsewhere. This in itself speaks to their character. Aside from Dr. Sara and Dr. Shuey, the office manager and Vet tech's will go above and beyond to assist in helping find a product your pet needs if they do not carry it.

Sarah at Timberview has been our vet for 15-20 years and has always provided excellent care for our cats and also our several adopted former racing greyhounds that we trust to her care. Her "new" facility is excellent as to parking, waiting area and treatment rooms and her staff has always been extremely friendly and helping whenever our pets have needed care.

I have been coming to this vet for close to 15 years. Never had an issue until today. I always take my 35lb dog to get her nails trimmed here because the vet techs have always been so good with her. She does not like getting her feet touched and they have to muzzle her. I rather spend the $20 to get her nails done then to take her to a groomer for cheaper because they know how she can get. I have recently moved to Hallam Pa and it is out of my way and thought I will make the drive because I like how they treat her. Today I seen 3 new faces. Not sure if they were new techa... I got charged $44 for a nail trim!! They stated her slipped out of her muzzle... Sounds to me like they didn't put it on correctly. They stated 3 techs had to come in to help clip her nails because she was difficult. I stated Everytime she is difficult but they never charged me for a difficult dog... I am not going to make the trip again and will be finding a new vet.

We were long time customers of this veterinarian. We just recently got a kitten that was badly in need of veterinary care and we were told we would not be able to get in for an appointment for three weeks. After some urging, as the kitten had an obvious upper respiratory infection, they got us in within two days. Fast forward a week and the kitten is going downhill fast. We call in to see the vet again and are told at 5:30 pm Tuesday (even though they were open until 8 PM) that we can't be seen until the following Monday. Since we were in need of urgent assistance we called a family member that is in veterinary care and she walked us through what to do over facetime. The kitten improved but unfortunately took a turn for the worse the next day and died. We have multiple animals and will be looking for a new vet since the responsiveness/reliability simply aren't there. I would suggest others that value there pets as family members do the same.

We’ve taken our dog to this vet since he was a puppy, which he was treated well then. This most recent visit we were told we HAVE to get him examined just to get an estimate on having him neutered. He is a Rottweiler, but a very sweet boy who is not aggressive or mean in anyway. Of course like any dog who is nervous, barks and that seemed to scare the staff. Dr. Shoey came in, didn’t introduce himself to us or even talk to us. He wouldn’t even look or acknowledge our dog, pet him or anything. He was terrified of our dog. I’m very dissatisfied with the way our dog was treated because of his breed. Not to mention they charged us $60 for examining him and him being treated poorly. It’s very sad. On top of that our estimate on the low end was $650, for a male neuter. No thank you!! Way overpriced for the way they treat animals.

Took my 10 yr old Springer spaniel to her because she couldn’t get up on her own or walk on her rear leg. Was given an anti inflammatory and pain med-no X-rays done. 7 days later she was actually worse. Was seen and asked to have X-rays done- Dr. Sara said it wouldn’t tell us anything and stated she had a torn ACL and that we needed to make an appt with an orthopedic surgeon. Could not be seen at the ortho surgeon for 4 weeks. She kept getting worse. Finally after 4 long weeks she was seen and during the exam the new dr felt a hard lump on her leg, did X-rays and unfortunately she has bone cancer. If you truly care for your pet, take them someplace else.
