We took our 14-year-old Calico to see what was wrong with her. A very nice veterinarian named Dr. Jacobs checked her out thoroughly. We were very impressed by him. We had to go back to have her put down. Dr. Amber talked with us. All in all, they made a very bad experience a little better. We are actually taking our newly adopted Calico to be checked out by Dr. Jacobs tomorrow.

I have had Dr. Prior since he took over for my old Vet. Always caring for our furry relations with love. They go that extra mile. Great family oriented Vet. Dr. Amber & their newly added doctor have been kind. Thanks.

When someone asks me if I know of any vets in our area, I automatically think of Dillsburg Veterinary Center. Dr. Amber is the only one I've dealt with over the years, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. She takes the time to answer any questions or educates me in what to look for in our older puppy. The desk staff is always friendly, proficient and keeps me up to date. Thank you to all the Dillsburg Vet Staff!

Very professional, very nice office. I guess everybody in the office was vaccinated since no one was wearing a mask.

Just how could you do this to Speranza they have given you so much business for you to just up and say no more you should be ashamed of yourself / business

After using Dillsburg Veterinary Center for the care of our adopted dog through Speranza, we had begun treatment for an infection that was going to require multiple doses and visits to ensure he was improving. Upon calling to schedule our follow up, I was rudely told “you’re gonna have to call Speranza to figure that out because we aren’t working with them anymore”. Didn’t care that he was already adopted out to us, didn’t give us the option to continue treatment and pay for it ourselves as we intended, they just heard the name “Speranza” and said they wouldn’t see us. A treatment plan that had already been initiated and issued by them for our dog was just “no longer their problem”. It’s obvious that the concern is not for the animals that we entrust to their care, and I am severely disappointed in how the reception staff handled that entire phone call. Lots of owners are no longer going to be “your problem” as they seek out professionals who put their patients and animals first.

Such a shame that you care not to do business with Non-Profit Organization that put you in the Spotlight!!! Shame on You!

Started treatment for my dog and because they dropped speranza they won’t finish it. They told us to figure it out. I don’t know of ANY vet clinic that would just leave an animal hanging like that. Stay far far away from this place. It’s clear they don’t truly care about the animals.

Extremely overpriced for basically all services. Will not send medications to a pharmacy, including veterinary pharmacies, so they can collect 10x on the medications.

Laura and all the veterinarian assistance and doctors are very helpful and show so much concern not just for the animal before the owners thumbs up keep up the good work May and her family loves you

Way over priced they were going to charge me $880.00 plus for a neuter for my newfoundland that weighs 120lb I called another vet its only going to cost me 300 and that includes everything they were offering plus a microchip. So they are definitely overcharging for their services.

Dropped Speranza Rescue as a client after the rescue spent over 300k a year for years with them. Many clients went to this vet based on the reviews Speranza gave them. Not good for business to drop one of your biggest cheerleaders!

5 Years ago when I rescued a very neglected English Bulldog. At that time, I went to Dover Animal Hospital. I wasn't having very good luck with her treatment and after seeing Dr. Pryor on television for treating Libre, I was compelled to transfer to Dillsburg Animal Hospital in hopes that she would be treated properly and recover from the terrible condition she was in. Dr. Pryor was amazing and we were able to collectively get her issues under control and give her the life she deserved for so long. Sadly, she passed after 9 short months with me at the age of 9. Fast forward to 2020. I relocated back to the area and I have another rescued English Bulldog. I contacted Dillsburg Animal Hospital and had her records, from out of town, transferred there. Much to my surprise, when I arrived, I found a brand new, much larger building. While I admired the new facility, I was expecting my appointment to be with Dr. Pryor, as it always has been. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, when I was seen by another doctor. Since returning, I've had the worst experience in all my years as a pet owner. Just trying to get a return phone call is impossible. I never expect the Dr. to call me back directly, but I do at least expect the receptionist or the kennel help to call me back and tell me that the Dr. will not be able to return my call for 3+ days, and that's if I'm lucky. Hopefully your pet doesn't have an emergency, even during regular business hours, because you're NOT going to seen here unless you have a scheduled appointment. Instead you're given telephone numbers to 4 Urgent Care Vet Hopsitals in the area and sent on your way. Back in the day, when you had an emergency, they would work you into the schedule or stay a little later to see you. Well, that's not the case anymore. Personally, I feel as if the attention this facility recieved from treating Libre, has made this once small and compassionate hospital into a money business where they are unable to keep up with the demand and no longer put your pets health needs before the "next visit ~ the next $80 office charge". It's in and out, "that will be $300 please". I've spent thousands of dollars here and I'm treated no differently then the next person with deep pockets. Over the last 2 weeks, I've felt defeated in obtaining the proper care for my girl and I've expressed my frustration with friends, colleagues and other veterinarian offices and Its obvious I'm not the only one who is having this unfortunate experience. If you are a fortunate pet owner who's pet only needs seen for routine visits, this business will work fine for you. But if you're looking for long term care, frequent visits and regular communication on your pets condition/treatment, this is not the place. It's a sad day when you have to end your relationship with your pets doctor because they are too busy to return a call, let alone see you. I'm looking forward to my girl being seen, in her time of need and being cared for like a member of the family, at a different hospital who hasn't yet, knock on wood, reached stardom & fame and forgot why they became a veterinarian in the first place. Shop around, ask questions, get recommendations from other parents and chose wisely, your PETS LIVES DEPEND ON IT.

The people at Dillsburg Vet Center clearly love the animals they take care of. They are thorough and take the time to explain any issues and treatment options.

I went with my sister for her two dogs. She loves this vet and even after he moved farther away from her, she still continues to go to him. I personally don't have a relationship with him.

was in town visiting mom and dad when my minpin hurt her leg. they got me right in and fixed her up. they even had laser therapy on hand to help improve the healing process. the doc was great. the staff compassionate. lots of little things. like her name written on the mat. little touches here and there that, while not a big deal, it shows that attention to detail and a willingness to do and be a bit more. while i hope i dont need their services again... if i do, i know where im taking my dog.

Staff explained everything in detail and were very friendly. They provided a cost estimate with no hassle. Price was much better compared to other vets in my area (Camp Hill). They called the day after my cat's appointment to verify she was doing well. Staff seems like they are very compassionate.

I took my 15yr old Maltese to see Dr. Pryor today for the first time. I was so afraid he was going to tell me I had to euthanize him. He was biting everyone, you couldn't pet or love on him and he kept falling. They did laser therapy on him and I have a new dog again! I'm disabled and have cancer and live on a very small monthly income. It was the best spent money ever!!!!! Thank you Brittany for your precious time you spent with my sweet Charlie dog!! Don't let money stand in the way of giving your beloved pet a chance for a much better life! Thank you to all of you!! Can't wait to come back for more laser treatments!!!!
