2nd round of heart worm treatment for our 4 legged family member and he did so well. The staff treats him as their own. He loves them too.

First of all, customer service is severely lacking! Receptionists who answer phones always have attitudes like you are bothering them. Maybe hire people who know how to speak to the public and are a little more compassionate? They also are usually very behind and slow as well so be sure to prepare to wait minimum 30 minutes. Second of all, very expensive veterinary practice to go to which is another reason I think I will switch places to get the best care for my animals without feeling taken advantage of. Third of all, customers shouldn’t have to come back in and pay ( on top of the hundreds of dollars they were just in for) after you clearly make a mistake/screw up and something went wrong. Very unprofessional. My family will be taking our animals for better care elsewhere

This place was awesome up until the past few months! The vets are awesome they just need someone new to answer their phone for that person is very rude and a liar. I myself, as well as many people I know are unsure about this place because of her. Not professional, get a new receptionist!!

They are horrible. The only reason I scheduled with them (despite what everyone was telling me) was because they see bunnies. And I need my bunny spayed and they're the closest. They scheduled my appointment for November 27th then called me a couple days before my appointment and said they have to cancel my appointment because the doctor will no longer be in that day. Frustrating but whatever. They rescheduled my appointment for December 3rd, then proceeded to call me a week or so before my appointment to tell me that the office will be closed that day! Nope, not going there asked for my refund and was informed they can't issue it until Monday. It's now Thursday. Still no refund and they are not answering the phone or returning messages. Disputing my card. Don't do business with them. UPDATE: my husband finally got ahold of them for the refund. Save yourself some trouble. Go to a reliable caring vet.

Amanda Abbott's review is true and SHE IS A CLIENT. She is my daughter and she took our family dog George to Best Friends Animal Hospital. I am not sure why they are claiming that she cannot be verified as a client. Also, I took George in to Best Friends as a new patient in 2020 when we adopted him. But they could not find his records in 2021. Not sure why. I had heard good things about Best Friends from other people and had high hopes but my poor dog didn't fair so well. My experience was not so good. They refused to fit him in even though he was in very serious condition, couldn't find his records, and misdiagnosed him. They also said they would call me with the results of a blood test they did on him, but they never called me. I had to call them back a few days later to get the results.

First time visit with two little additions to the family, everybody was wonderful and came in to see how cute they were, the vet was professional and asked questions to make sure they got the care they needed

I’m so blessed to have Dr Jeannine taking care of my precious little guy. She’s dedicated & also knowledgeable about many aspects of an aging pet with multiple health issues. My dog wouldn’t be here with us if it wasn’t for her compassion & loyalty to these little hearts that bring us the greatest joy.

WORST PLACE EVER! I bring in my dog in because he has a cough. Did even look at him no chest X-ray they did nothing but gave him a small dose of a antibiotics and sent him home. In less then 48 hours I had to rush my dog at 1:00 am to the er vet to find out he has pneumonia and if he wasn’t admitted he wouldn’t make it through the night. Spend almost 3,000 dollars in vet bills. Called Best Friend back to explain what happened and tried to schedule a follow up visit soonest they could see him was 3 weeks even though I had a early appointment already scheduled for nail clipping but they said I couldn’t use that one due to the visit being for a different reason. Fast forward call them the other day at 8:00am as soon as they open to explain to them that the symptoms are back and there worst. They advertise they do emergency visits if you call between 8:00-8:15am. I call at 8:00 they refuse to see him then place me on hold for 20 min and then answer and say they are now full for the day. Take my dog back to the ER vet to find out the lower lobe of his lungs haven’t cleared of the pneumonia and he’s back in antibiotics. This whole process Best friends has been awful to deal with. Was even told by the ER vet that I needed to look for a vet that cares.

Friendly staff, calls are answered quickly & short wait time. I am a new customer & my cat was well taken care of for her first wellness check. Appointments book quickly, so calling in advance is a good idea.

An associate came to my when after I called, and picked up the feces sample. The next day an associate left a message that the feces sample was clear of hookworms.

Emergency visit for our dog. Vet did everything she could to see what was wrong. She explained things well also. Very nice and professional. Too long to wait in car before we were escorted in, but it was an emergency.

We first started using Best Friends is 2018 when we found a young kitten that was very sick on a holiday weekend. They worked him in and Dr Grove was amazing with him. Last year when the same cat started developing fevers of unknown origin they kept following up and working with us until he was fever free and feeling well again. Our other two cats have seen them for wellness and annual vaccinations and we've always been impressed with the care and attention to detail they take with them.

Called for a same day appointment for an emergency and got in right away, as we normally do. We just adore Dr. Elena and are lucky to have her ????

I've been taking my 8 month golden retriever to Best Friends since the day we picked him up and I am so glad to have found such an awesome place. The staff is always extremely friendly and my pup is wagging his tail on the way in and on the way back out (even after being neutered). A day after surgery, he wasn't feeling the best, so I called in and got a response from the vet extremely quickly. She gave me great advice and a comprehensive and easy plan to follow that didn't require a trip back in yet. She truly showed true concern for our little man, which speaks volumes. I could go on and on about the quality of the staff and the care they give, but you should take your pet there and see for yourself! We are switching our older golden over as well and plan to best friends with Best Friends for life.

You all always treat us well and take excellent care of our fur baby, Maggie Mae. The only thing that was frustrating was that I was the second car in the parking lot to drop Maggie off for surgery at 8 am. I actually got there a little earlier. I called the number to check in and your phones were not on yet. Then one by one the parking lot started filling up and then your line was busy. So everyone that got there after me was waited on before me and I sat in my car for 30 minutes. I don't know how fixable that is but I think that process should be examined

They are very knowledgeable and when I have been in with my cats or dog, have usually found the problem. However, I believe their prices are a bit high. Also, I understand that vets have a busy schedule & can “Sometimes” get backed up and have delays. But , so far, EVERY Single time I’ve been there, I’ve had to wait close to 30 minutes! At this point, I’m wondering if, when scheduling an appt., I should just automatically show up 30 minutes after the alleged appt. time. One more thing that was upsetting. We had to pick up insulin for our cat, and they told my husband that they had not seen our cat in a while & that we’d have to have an appointment before they would give him insulin. This was on a weekend, & had my husband not been able to find an emergency vet to give him insulin, he would have died! I understand that they have to adhere to certain guidelines to be in business....but they should have contacted us earlier & forewarned us...not just explain that to us the day we called to pick up insulin. Yes, & I saw your comment below....so I have edited my review! Please explain how not giving us any notice that we were aware of and denying us insulin for our cat on a weekend, which could have killed him, has to do with the legal guidelines that I understand you have to adhere to. I wrote in my post that I understood that! But again, I still think the professional, caring approach would have been to give us the insulin, (it being on the weekend and us having received No notice), & to tell us, then, IN PERSON, that ‘Otto’ would need to be seen before you could give us his insulin in the future! These games you play, at least in our case, have cost you our business, anyway...not that it matters to you.

I had the pleasure of taking my two puppies for their first check up to Best Friends Animal Hospital. Dr. Elena and Teonna were awesome. They are very kind, personable, and very knowledgeable; they gave me lots of information. I look forward to receiving such quality care for my two fur babies. Thank you.

My dog's surgery went very well. She is doing great. But what upsets me is that we still can not go inside with our pets. And the wait in the parking lot is extremely too long...30 and 40 minutes to be seen is much too long. If we were 10 minutes late we lose the appointment...but we can 40 minutes to be seen with an appointment. I realize emergencies happen, but surely not every visit. The woman in the car beside me had to return to work and had been waiting 50 minutes to be seen with her old dog. They were very professional and kind. The vets and staff are 5's but their office practices need changed or more staff hired.
