Truly heartbreaking hearing about the story of the mysteriously "missing" dog Pistol while in his care. How does this even happen and why doesn't he have any answers? Extremely suspicious. I would be devastated if this were my dog. Please do not leave your animals with him.

We recently adopted a pit mix from the local shelter. Lizzie was well behaved for the first two weeks until she became destructive in our home. Shawn came out and assessed our situation and coached us on how to incorporate a new dog into our home. Things have been going so well with her in our home since Shawn’s visit. We start basic obedience with Shawn and Mannerly Canine next week! We can’t wait!

Shawn and Mannerly Canine helped train our cockapoo who had resource guarding issues. After we completed the training with Mya she was so much more focused and motivated to behave for us before. It’s been 10 months and we haven’t seen one ounce of aggression from her. She’s such a better and well behaved dog now. Thanks Mannerly Canine!

Our family rescued a three year old golden retriever last year. Sally had such bad behaviors in the home because she was kept outside most of her life down south. She was so destructive that we had two options. Give her back to the shelter(which wasn't an option for me) or get help. My coworker recommended Mannerly Canine. We couldn't be more happy with the results. Sally has adjusted so much quicker to living in a house after training. The Lambert Family cannot thank Shawn and Mannerly Canine enough.

5 months later and still hasn’t helped to find a dog HE lost. Calls the police on anyone who looks. Very unprofessional and rude.

Shawn worked wonders with our dog Bosco. We adopted Bosco at 2 years old. he was great the first month or so until he got comfortable with us in our home. He then started resource guarding our children's toys. Shawn's guidance and coaching helped us overcome Bosco's issues. He's now a wonderful companion. We HIGHLY recommend Shawn and Mannerly Canine. I bought my parents 4 training sessions through Mannerly Canine a couple months ago to help with taming their dogs and could not be happier with the service. Shawn was very responsive, professional and very knowledgeable.

After going through several different trainers locally with no results we were referred to Mannerly Canine by my cousin. Our Doberman was attacked by another dog while walking him in the park. After that our Russo developed preemptive aggression on the leash towards other dogs on the walk. It got to the point I would only walk him at night because his behavior was so extreme. Shawn saved Russo and gave us our dog back. We'll always feel indebted to Shawn and Mannerly Canine.

My family has used Shawn for the last decade off and on for different dogs. He's always delivered results with our dogs. We'll keep using Shawn and recommending Mannerly Canine as long as we have dogs, despite the one star reviews given to him by people who have never met him, never used his services and have NO CLUE how much dogs mean to him. The internet is a scary place with the angry mob syndrome.

I’ve known Shawn for many years. He’s always exceeded expectations and helped rehabilitate a dog I was close to giving up on. His passion are dogs... or animals in general. He’s great with all animals. It’s like he has a sixth sense. Honestly, something I can’t comprehend. Shawn is a great human being. I recommend his services. Wish there were more people like him in the world.

We recently had Shawn and Mannerly Canine help my girlfriend and I train our greyhoun, Lucy. Shawn really did a wonderful job helping us learn how to read and communicate with our girl. Lucy is a smart girl and like Shawn says "that can be a double edge sword if you're dog is not learning good behaviors. After several lessons it all started coming together. Lucy is now awesome! Our home is so much more peaceful thanks to Shawn. I highly recommend Shawn and Mannerly Canine! If I could give 10 stars, I would!!

He lost a dog while in his care! Who takes a shower and leaves a dog outside alone! What is wrong with this guy. Would never leave any animal in his care. He is not to be trusted. I dog sat with my sons who accidentally let the dog escape and we stuck it out searching all day till we got that dog back. And if he is a trainer he should have known better. Or it is just a cover up for something worse that he did to this dog Pistol. He needs to fess up and tell the real story!

Lost a dog and is no help whatsoever. No communication, no explanation. NOTHING. Should be charged and locked up. Completely irresponsible and rude. Do NOT book your dog here.

Lost a local dog while under their care and will not even help the owner look for it. Completely unprofessional and my heart goes out to the owner. All sounds really fishy to me.

He lost my friends beloved dog while in his care, all of it is suspicious from the timeline to how it happened. He is not remorseful and doing nothing to be helpful or provide answers. No dog should be in his care, period.

Shawn took great care of our Pit mix. From top to bottom he was fantastic with our dog and all the training he provided. Dogs are his passion in life, I would recommend Shawn to anyone and everyone. His expertise and years of experience made our decision to use him an easy one.

Hands down our experience with Shawn and Mannerly Canine was top notch! We'll definitely be using their services in the Future. Our dog is light years ahead of all of our neighbors dogs.

Lost a dog in his care and then doesn't help find it? Sounds off to me. Maybe because he knows there's no sense looking because the dog can't be found. HEARTBREAKING! This guy should not be trusted with any animal.

I wish there was an option for 6 stars because that is what Shawn and Mannerly Canine deserve. We first met Shawn in 2009. He helped us train our Maltese, Betty. He helped us tremendously with her. Betty has since passed away. Two years ago we got a wheaten terrier named scooter who was a little hellion. Scooter is such a wonderful dog today and we owe it all to Shawn and Mannerly Canine. If you need the best dog training in the area get in touch with Mannerly Canine and Shawn!

This “trainer” should take responsibility for what happened to Pistol. It would be an absolute nightmare to drop your beloved dog off at a place they’re suppose to be safe at, only to be told that they went missing. Very shady. How heartbreaking for the owner. I hope she gets answers.

Shawn is a great dog trainer and has helped us out tremendously with several dogs over the years. We can’t recommend him enough. All these people coming to his listing and giving him a one star review have never worked with him and have no clue how great of a man he his. Good ole “angry mob” of social media. Easy to hide behind a keyboard. We will use Shawn until he retires or we stop getting dogs and will continue to recommend him!

Don't take your dog here unless you don't Want it back. Owner is sketchy and already"lost" a dog and is doing nothing to help

We enrolled Zee our French Mastiff into lessons with Shawn and Mannerly Canine last summer. Zee was impossible to walk and his manners were just horrible. Shawn helped us gain control of our unruly teenager in just a couple of weeks. This dog would've taken years off my life if it wasn't for Shawn and Mannerly Canine! Thank God my sister recommended them. I definitely recommend Shawn and Mannerly Canine to everyone wanting to have a better life with their dog.
