I’m not so sure that I Trust bringing my dog in to this facility anymore. Two days after a dog dental visit, I gave my dog a bathe and I discovered he had a large contusion to his lower L hind leg. In addition to discovering the large bruise on my dogs leg, they missed clipping one nail. I was told over the phone by the Dr. That he was not going to charge me for my dogs nail clipping. It’s not okay to just say I won’t charge you and sweep it under the rug and not be transparent if there was difficulty in handling my dog. My dog already has anxiety going to the vet but it now makes me have anxiety bringing him to the vet. Sad, My dog won’t be going to this location again.

Wow...just wow. I reallllyy worry about my pets now taking them here and the service being unfriendly and immature is just one reason to feel that way. These guys USED to be decent but in recent months, they have some of the worst employees I've yet witnessed. Everyone has ADD, they don't listen, don't notate or it's notated but they don't read anything until you get there ....what's worse is they used to have good doctors that really seemed to care about the animal and were thorough (thank you Dr.Olsen, come back!) but they've moved to other locations. Would highly not recommend you trust your pet to this location. Who knows what they're not telling you...

You sign up for a plan, but they don't have available appointments for sickness. My dog is sick, and I could only find an appointment within 2-3 weeks but this location had an opening sooner (not my usual location) even though it was far from home. There was an accident along the route so I was 15 min late. They admitted it was only part way through my appointment time but refused to see my dog. My dog is otherwise super healthy and has regularly been seen for well visits. She suddenly has an infection that has rapidly worsened. It would take a quick moment to see her and figure it out if you're a good vet. They refused to see her, after I explained that I already drove an hour to get there and it would be a whole hour to get home. No compassion for people or pets. Not to bad mouth all Banfield locations though. My regular place agreed to squeeze us in first thing tomorrow.

Always a terrible experience when I go to a Banfield pet hospital if my family didn't have pet insurance for my dog I wouldn't go to this location. They attempted to charge me for medication without explaining the rationale. The doctor wouldn't let me ask questions and the assistant had no idea what I was talking about.

Our family wanted to take time to thank three amazing members of the Tualatin team clinic: Zack, the amazing nurse Jamie and Dr Abbey for going above and beyond and squeezing our pet after we called 5 other Banfield clinics for a scary and rapid spreading abcess type looking lesions around his snout. We couldn't get an appt nor anyone at the 5 bandfield clinics we called to be willing to take a quick look at him to confirm whether this was a true emergency or not. "Sorry we have a full schedule and otherwise take him to an ER pet clinic" is all we heard. Most emergency clinics take >8 plus hrs to see your pet when they are "stable meaning nor dying appearing" and of course they bill you at least 300$ just for the consult added to everything else is done" We were scared, frustrated and felt huge indifference by all the 5 clinics we called. Only Zack, took the time to listen and his cool, and very welcoming demeanor offered to consult w his team. Both nurse Jamie (who better consider becoming a Vet herself in the future) and Dr Abbey showed true compassion as they offered to examine our pet and after seeing him chose to add him to their already busy schedule for prompt follow up and care. We can only but express our gratitude to you 3, Zack, Jamie and Dr Abby for going above and beyond and encourage all the Bandfield clinics to try and mirror this compassionate behavior.

Very nice people and they were able to actually get our dog in when others were much longer wait times. Not impressed any more with the staff at the WA Square Banfield.

I was hesitant to write this but I feel it has to be said. My rating is only because of one of the front desk staff who I have now had several bad encounters with which leads me to believe this is just who she is. Her name is Amanda and she is one of the rudest, most unprofessional people I have encountered in a long time. She seems to hate her job and having to help people. Do not walk into the lobby without calling first or she will get very upset and start saying rules about COVID and you can not come in without asking her permission first. She is very unpleasant when answering the phone and seems as if she is annoyed that she has to pull your file to look something up for you when asked to. The final straw for me that lead to writing this was witnessing her the other day berating another staff member while I was in paying for my next heart worms pill for my puppy, I feel bad for those who have to work with her as well as the other clients dealing with her on a daily basis and something should be done about her as she seems to be the main person you deal with when calling or having to pick up medications. I do not believe that Banfield would want someone with that behavior representing their hospitals and maybe they are just unaware of what is going on? I will say that I moved to this location several months ago and Dr. Abbey and Dr. Olsen have been wonderful! I have also had great experiences with their technicians who have been wonderful with my puppy and answering all my questions, if you go on a day that Amanda is not there then it’s a great place and I highly recommend their VETS and TECHNICIANS! They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately I will be trying a different location from now on, I loved the Drs there but i cannot support her behavior and attitude towards others. Maggie will miss her friends there, she is always excited to go in and say hello to everyone, never showed any signs of being nervous about going into the bet even with me not being able to go in with her. maybe we will be back one day.

I've gone to many vets over the past couple years to try and get me dog help with rash flare/being itchy. Nothing's ever worked. With just a couple days after our first visit, my dog is doing so much better!! I'm extremely pleased with my experience with Banfield. And I feel my dogs visit was reasonably priced! Too many times ive been overcharged, and considering they were of no help to my dogs health. ????Ezra says thank you!

I feel bad because I normally don’t leave bad reviews and I usually have great experiences with banfield..however I showed up for my appointment today and they told me it was cancelled and that they had already contacted me to tell me that. I never received a phone call, voicemail, or email telling me it was cancelled. Only an email confirming my appointment. My cats already been throwing up for five days luckily I was able to make an appointment for tomorrow at another location. I’m not trying to be rude I know things happen but I felt I had to share this so other pet owners don’t depend on them in emergencies because this might happen to others as well.

The Vet was super personable and kind when our 1 year old puppy was sick. They did imaging and labs and prescribed meds and fluids and he is doing great now!

Not available to take care of pets when they get sick. You pay for a plan what they say is preventive but have to make appointment for future sickness. I don't have future knowledge. Attached is a picture of my dog who they refused treatment when he got sick. He passed away.

Very Paw-fessional. The staff was so sweet to my puppy Koa. The vet explained in detail what our options are with vaccinations and other health options (we don’t want to over vaccinate). I would recommend doing a wellness package with Banfield. The bonus is you don’t have to pay the $50 walk in fees , you can come in whenever...and all recommended wellness services are included. A bonus of the wellness package is it comes with a DNA blood panel for your dog!

If you sign up for monthly charges for your pet's vet services for first year they will either make it a pain for you to cancel (can only cancel on that month you started, not able to cancel at front desk etc.) or they will tell you you have cancelled and continue charging you. I signed up for this, then read reviews after warning me about this. They told me they cancelled, then continued charging anyways and acted like it was my fault. Recommend finding someone else who conducts honest business. Vets did ok though.

This location has been our veterinarian for 10 years....in my opinion it would be hard to find a veterinarian that would take as good care as our pets have received.

Extremely unprofessional front desk employees. Rude from the moment you walk in to when you walk out. Now with Covid they are worse. I don’t mind waiting outside or what ever before going in. However, when I went and picked up a simple prescription for my dog. I waited outside when there was no one else in the waiting room. Then the lady handed me the meds, and then slammed the door on my face!! I will never be back.
