Good place to go to adopt your next ferret friend. We went there to adopt one ferret and came home with two. Now we have 3 ferrets and may get more. Ferrets are FUN. Got more ferrets - now we have six. They really a fun, a lot of work but FUN. Just learned they are closing. Sad day for all the ferrets that need a good home. They will be missed. Wish them the very best and thank you for all the great work you did with ferrets.

Much better than buying a ferret from Petco. Rescue them!

(I payed 100$ for a 60$ ferret and am not happy about it!) I am only 17 and was inexperienced with ferrets when I bought a ferret from here and didn't know how to tell a ferrets age, petfinder said that this particular ferret was a 1 year old. Then when I called she said that the ferret was 2, and I thought oh okay she probably had just turned 2 and that's fine. But then I buy this ferret, and she writes on the paper that she is 4 years old! And later on I rescued a ferret on my own, one that was 7 months to a year old, and then I realized the extent of how much older this ferret was. She has to be around 6 years, she's super frail and inactive compared to the young one. Although I am very happy that I adopted her, and sure the ferret shelter has good intentions, I'm not so happy about being told she was 2 when she very clearly is not and being tricked into paying the higher price for a young ferret. I'm glad I can give her a good home for as long as she's around.

We had a terrible experience with the "ferret lady" (I say ferret lady because she refused to tell me her name when I asked). We had Garrett The Ferret for over a year. We loved our little buddy. My friend/co-worker's daughter really wanted a ferret. We felt that our ferret might have a more enjoyable life with a girl who would play with him, like he would always play with us. Unfortunately, the new home didn't work out for Garrett. They ended up surrendering him to the Ferret Rescue. As soon as we heard this, I called to see if we could get our ferret back. I could not believe the response of the "ferret lady." Not only was she extremely rude, she contradicted everything her business was about. She wants to find good loving homes for the ferrets? We have one. When I asked my co-worker about "rescue" environment that Garret went to, I was appalled. She said that the garage was filled with cages stacked on top of each other. There were numerous loud barking dogs, and my co-worker could not get out of there faster. When I brought this up to the "ferret lady" she said he was happy playing with other ferrets. I simply asked if she could send me and email/picture to put my mind at ease. She responded by telling me how irresponsible I was to give the ferret to a 9 year old girl that "was the least bit interested" in the ferret. I apologized for the mistake and tried to explain our reasoning, and how much we wanted him back (rather than in a cage somewhere). She was not interested in listening to me one bit. I asked if she ran the organization, she said yes. I asked her what her name was and she told me "you don't need to know my name." I said yes, I need to know who to ask for when I call back. She said "do not call back" and then hung up on me. DO NOT GIVE FERRETS TO THIS RUDE WOMAN. Ferret rescue? Or Ferret hoarding???

Very kind and caring couple, helped us pick out the perfect ferret companion. They're very knowledgeable on all the animals they keep, which reassured us that we made the right choice in picking this shelter. Loved talking with them and learning a bunch about our new pet, thanks so much for bringing Pipsqueak into our lives! ????

Ferrets. The Owner knows her business, and is good at explaining things for new ferrants.

They really care about the animals they bring in and their boarding service is like a mini vacation for the fuzzies.
