Very good with their work and they are nice women. I really appreciate that my dog isn’t afraid when I bring him like he was when I would take him to Petsmart. The little bows that he gets in his hair after they are done grooming him are cute. Going back as much as I can.

Please avoid this place. Prices are way too high and they literally just make up prices and add on services without your knowledge to justify it. We have a small goldendoodle that we typically pay $60-70 for a full groom. This place charged over $200 the first time we took our dog for a groom and $150 the second time!! The groomer claimed that our dog’s hair was matted, which was not the case (we brush her every single day). Even when I asked upfront what the cost would be, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. They’re scamming. Stay far far away from this place and it’s questionable business practices

Yappy Dog Grooming is fantastic. We ask for a lion cut and nail trim for two tiny, fluffy, and neurotic dogs. For as wormy as these two dogs are if you even so much as think about them the groomers manage to get a great trim in. About $90 a head for haircut and nail trim. Most importantly when I go to pick up my girls they don’t come out with shell shock.

We have a Welsh Terror, I mean Terrier. So sometimes he can be a bit of a hand full. Sharon is excellent with Arlo. He went in as a Wooly Bear and came out as Dapper Dude. He seemed happy to see her and was wagging his tail at the "tailend" of his visit when still on the table; he had also given Sharon doggie kisses. ❤ this was Arlo's 3rd visit at Yappy Dog. Thank you Sharon for taking time to befriend Arlo.

Being new to the area I was looking for recommendations for a dog groomer. I met a woman in the park walking her dog and she highly recommended Yappy Dog. My dog is 15 and usually nervous. The groomers took her time during drop off getting to know my dog and she was very relaxed when I left . When I picked her up they gave me some good advice about her skin and fur. I highly recommend this groomer. They're friendly with great service and pricing.

They seemed to have gotten “Chutney” nice and trimmed. Looked really nice after that. Thanks Yappy!

Absolutely the best grooming experience ever! Sharon got the Yorkie cut perfect. She even cleaned our little girls teeth. White and bright and no Yorkie breath. Yappy dog is a keeper!

I tried Yappy Dog once before and wasn't overjoyed, but not unhappy with the grooming experience. My dog was returned clean, tidied up and the charge of $85 seemed consistent with the market. I decided to give it another try to see if I could develop a relationship with this shop so close to my home, even though the shop is small, a little chaotic and has lots of noise with more than 2 dogs inside. WRONG! After explaining to Sharon that I didn't want a summer cut and that I wanted her to be bathed, left a little longer, tidied up with no beard this is what I ended up with. AND, to top it off, she said she was going to have to charge me $120 (last one was $85). I flipped out - boy did she get a lap full of my outrage. She tried to say this cut took her extra work... on a dog that had NO mats and has been brushed every day of her life. She did what she wanted to do, completely disregarded what I requested and then tried to gouge me for it. I'm posting a before and after picture. Judge for yourself.

Sharon is very sweet, friendly, and caring. However I'm giving it a 2 star because my pups had to stay at the shop in a crate for 8+ hours with no water and no potty breaks. I moved away from petco and petsmart grooming to private dog salons because P and P ask people to drop off the dogs early in the morning, and they just hold the dogs in the crate until it's their turn to get groomed. Yappy salon operates like that too. One of my dogs is 16 years old, half blind, and has extreme anxieties (which my vet says it could increase the chance for cancer). I do not want my pups to be in a high stress environment (with dogs crying and blow dryer going off every 2 seconds) for that long. Most private groomers I’ve had would schedule the appt based on their grooming timeline, and will start working on your dog as soon as you arrive and finish within 2 hours (like us human salons). When I picked the pups up, they were dying to go potty and they were also extremely dehydrated. If your pup has high anxieties, i would recommend to go somewhere else.

Awesome job with first time grooming for my 4 month old puppy! The owner explained what she was going to do for his grooming so that he’s comfortable & will enjoy grooming going forward. Pricing was fair & I was able to book an appointment the following week instead of other places that had a 4-5 week wait time. I’ll definitely be coming back & highly recommend them.

They do a nice job but they are extremely expensive and don’t give a price until afterwards which is unusual.

Nail trim on my 50 lb hound took 5 minutes and my dog was calm! Fantastic

We trusted Yappy Dog immediately, and we are glad we did. Iggy is especially soft, with a balanced coat and the best nails we have ever seen. He was relaxed when we dropped him off, and was equally composed when we picked him up. We are not dreading our next groom, and it is a good feeling.

I have two schnauzers, this is my first time to Yappy Dog Pet Grooming. The staff were supper friendly, they asked my preference of the cut, and this is first time I have heard of Japanese style cut for schnauzer. I love it! It is more like a puppy look, very Cute! They also use the special shampoo for the sensitive skin, they cleaned the ears, and detangled the hair. Will definitely visit them regularly!

Our dogs came home clean..

We have a labradoodle named Rick Bobby. I take him fishing, hunting and all my activities. His fur was matted, dreaded, full of burs, and more. The team at Yappy did a great job with ricky and took wonderful care of him. I’ll be a customer for life.

We just had a black lab stink crisis of epic proportions and Yappy Dog saved the day! Charley somehow, I don't know where or how, found some fish infused animal poop to roll in and it covered him from head to toe of his 100 lb body. Just horrific. Sharon at Yappy Dog was phenomenal and gave Charley THREE baths to get it all out. We are forever indebted and Charley will be back every six weeks. He looks beautiful! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Yappy dog was wonderful with my little 5 month old pup! He has black nails, they are so hard to trim and I couldn't get the job done on my own without hurting him. They were so kind and gentle, one person clipped his nails while the other comforted his nerves by giving him scratches and kind words. We were in and out in 5 minutes - very good service! We've been there twice now and same exact quality both times. Highly recommend for any dogs, even nervous guys like my Pep. :)

I just picked up my dog and her hair is softer than it's ever been, she smells amazing, and even had a skin treatment for the dry skin on her belly! The other groomers usually charge a lot for a brush out over 5-10 minutes and any kind of skin treatments or special shampoos but the extras were all included (even the cute bow). I was able to schedule a same day appointment and I'm so happy I did. My dog Sriracha is FLUFFY with a super thick undercoat and a top coat that clumps together like dreads. It takes a lot of effort to brush out (the Petco people tend to complain about it and tell me I need to reschedule for a different type of appointment weeks out) but I cannot stress enough how soft her fur is right now. I have had this dog for 5 years and her fur is so soft that I wrote 2 paragraphs about how awesome this woman is at her job. Thank you so much for squeezing me in today! My pup looks great, I feel good about spending $60 at a local business instead of $85 at Petco, and I found my new groomer! She was super nice and clearly cares about my dog.
