They were awesome Due to plauge, had to wait, but we were still taken care of

My cat was projectile vomiting among other symptoms brought him in, they were unable to tell em what's wrong with him and sent him home with a medication and was told if he pukes again to being him back. ($240) The next day he puked again so we brought him back. The again could not tell us why he wasn't improving or what was even wrong with him. Gave us more medicine and sent us home. ($350) Told us if he doesn't improve tomorrow bring him in AGAIN for an ultrasound. Why wasn't that done initially? If they think it'll find the problem why not do it? (They said the ultrasound person wasn't there today but will be tomorrow) So yeah don't take your pet there on a Thursday if it needs ultrasounds they can only kinda be a real clinic on certain days I guess. I am hopeful that WVAH will reach out to me to make this right (somehow) but I don't understand how you can be open but NOT have everything needed to treat. Had I know you were unequipped I would have went ANYWHERE else that was. Maybe Jack (my cat) would be feeling better by now had I made a better choice. I guess the fault is mine.

Called the clinic, was put on hold; however, after being on hold for a while I got hung up on. So I tried calling again just in case it was an accident. Same thing was put on hold and got hung up on once again. I did not receive a call back.

Very affordable, caring and compassionate staff! I love that you can drop in for medical care for pets. It's one of the few places you can do this in Portland. Highly recommended!

Amazing amazing amazing! Affordable, knowledgable, compassionate, beyond caring. These people will go out of there way to help clients and I feel so fortunate to have found them. The pandemic is what forced me to come here & it's the only good to come from it. I just would have assumed it solely for emergencies & high priced. Not the case, the most affordable veterinary care my pets have ever received . God bless the everyone that works there!

Love this clinic. My cat had mystery symptoms and they got me in the same day. Helped me figure out what was happening very quickly and thankfully no tests were necessary. Turned out to be something simple but other clinics MIGHT have missed it?! It's hard to know. But he's doing better now. The vet and tech were both wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Great clinic. Doctors are awesome front desk staff are super helpful and friendly. My dogs and cats always get the best care and the prices are very good.

I can not emphasize how fortunate we are to have Willamette Valley Animal Hospital in Gladstone that offers veterinary services. I have really loved all the vets I've used over the years but accessing veterinary care has become increasingly cost prohibitive everywhere and when I needed to take my new to me 10 year old cat for help, Ijust assumed that this would be a similarly big bill especially because Polly needed to be diagnosed which requires tests....the vet (or near vet doing clinicals?), Britt, was sharp, compassionate & beyond helpful. Polly had a radiograph, ultrasound, x-rays, blood work and we left with asthma medication for a month- $207 plus change was the final bill for all of that! I would have considered 2x that amount a bargain compared to what I paid for x-rays about 7 years ago! I'm just so impressed with the level of commitment and care the staff there go to. I can't imagine taking Polly anywhere else! Huge debt of gratitude to every employee there, especially to Britt!

Great prices. Took a bit to be seen but I was brought right back. Very friendly didn't try to have every test ran.

We had to take our 20 year old dog CeCe here to cross the rainbow bridge. The whole staff was amazing and very sweet. We appreciate what you did for our family during that difficult time.

It's really hard not being able to make an appointment for a very sick pet.

Vets and staff were good. Long wait of over two hours in the car even with an appointment. Very little parking.

COVID-19 has made coming to the vets just as rediculous as going to the hospital for people

We are visiting in town from across the country and our little guy, Beaux, was showing symptoms of a UTI. WVAH was AMAZING! They quickly got us in for a triage to make sure he wasn’t blocked, gave him some fluids and meds, and had us on our way in about less than an hour. They’re customer service was amazing, everyone was caring and you could tell was diligently working. From what it looked like on our end, they were stellar at they’re triage and getting animals in and out. We are highly recommending all of our family to use WVAH at Gladstone as their new veterinarian.

I have been to the clinic a few times. Today was a very long wait..Which I get its walk in, but when I asked Dr Romero if there is a better time to come she was quite rude and very short. Seemed like SHE was having a bad day. It just went down hill from there. All the other veterinarians I have seen there have been very nice, hopefully next time I will have a better experience then today.

They were great. Able to see my cat the same day with only about an hour total wait time. The staff and doctor were friendly and warm to both me and our cat. The vet was able to determine the issue quickly and provide an effective solution. The prices were very reasonable and our cat is already feeling much better. Will definitely be going back when vet services are needed

Staff is great! Being put in an examine room and left for over an hour is a bit ridiculous. Especially after waiting over an hour just to get into the room. I know they are busy, but you gotta figure out a better system because what you currently have sucks.

The people here were so nice to Athena! Dr. Wardford was amazing. I will definitely be bringing my animals here again!

Long wait but they do a good job and the staff are feiendly.

The vet was very friendly and gave us the information that we needed on what kinds of special diets that we could check out for our dogs allergies he has with dog food. She prescribed the best medicine that doesn't have major side affects. She even told us what the side affects were. They have a wonderful staff. They are kind, the have courtesy, and respect your privacy. The bathroom, waiting area and patient rooms are very clean, and neat. I would highly recommend Willamete Valley Animal Hospital to anyone.

Urgent care with no appointments. Very considerate, friendly and the doc was super decent and knew what was wrong with my kitty. They were extremely affordable. Also my kitty appreciates not having to wait in a room full of dogs and other cats. You wait in your car or nearby and they call you to come in. A far more humane system! The only downside is you do have to wait for quite a while to be seen. Call before you go and they will tell you on the phone approximately how long the wait will be. My kitty and I will be going back.

I went with my puppy tried to go back on the same day cause he still wasn't ok , but they wouldn't take us by the time we got to another vet he was so bad that he ended up dying. He was 9 weeks old and with me for 2 1/2 days. I'll never go back
