Omgosh I took my sons dog Marley here for the first time and they're amazing!!! She was so fluffy, happy, and looked so beautiful. Definitely going to be going back

Took our dog Toby here because petsmart complained that he is too difficult. We're really impressed with this place! They were able to relax him and get him through the grooming without causing stress. We're coming back!

They are very knowledgeable about how to and how not to trim different breeds. I had a conversation about how difficult it’s been keeping my pets clean where I live. She made my life easier with the cut she gave my Pomeranian.

They really need to work on their customer service. If you make eye contact with a customer waiting outside, you help them. Not just ignore them. I think the woman who we’ve encountered really needs to work on how she deals with people. Treating them like they’re stupid will get you nowhere.

I don't know if he's ever looked so hambsome! He's definitely never felt so soft! They did an amazing job, love the staff very friendly and great at what they do.

They always do amazing job. The only people that seem to be able to trim the puppy's nails.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I scheduled my dog for a cheek shave because he had a hot spot. When I got there, there was a miscommunication so my dog was grabbed a little late. The groomer explained to me that, bc of the breed, I didn’t want a shave, just a cleaning. (I thought shave bc the vet had shaved him for the first one). She took him back, cleaned all the ick and scabbing off his cheek, came out and told me how to care for it and what to look for. Then she didn’t charge me! Wouldn’t take my money! Totally unnecessary, but so kind! It’s sometimes hard to find a vet or groomer that is friendly AND cares about your pet more than $$$. Tales of Mischief is the kind of place you hope for your pets. We will be back for sure! Can’t wait to see them tackle my other dog’s nails; I’m sure they’ll be more than up to the challenge!

I made an appointment for my sister's cat. This would be her first time at a groomer and of course I had planned to take her but when the day came my sister ended up being the one to take her. The cut was done very well and I'm happy she's feeling better with all her mats off.... However because I didn't take her I couldn't tell the groomer that I absolutely would've rather you NOT express her gland which I was going to take it and leave it at "oh my sister wanted that I guess" but when I asked my sister if the groomer had asked for consent to do this the answer was "no" This process is incredibly invasive and uncomfortable for the cat and it would've been nice if you had at least asked for courtesy sake.

My fur babies are always taken care of. They make sure my boy is happy and groomed for his breed.

We've been very happy with the service we received, they've always been friendly and their prices are fair and our dog always seems happy when we pick her up!

I've been taking my maltese here for the last year and I'm always pleased with the results.

I showed them a picture explained how I wanted him cut.i combed him for over a half hour before I took him in combed down his back up his back down on both sides and up on both sides and decided the hair in sections to make sure he had no mats when he came out he didnt look like a yorkie at all they had shaved almost everything.she tried to tell me he had mats down to his skin.and when I got upset and talked firmly to her she said I was being aggressive.i didnt think being rightfully upset is aggressive.you get charged enough you should be able to trust them to do what you ask.o asked if how would she feel if she went to her hair cut and they wacked her hair off and didnt do as she asked. She had no reply to that.In case people do not know groomers are not regulated at all all they have to have is business licence to open the doors.telling people there dogs are matted seems to be a pat answer which realy means I did it the easiest and quickest way for them I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They do a great job, reasonably priced and I trust them. I think that's very important when taking care of my four-legged babies.

These ladies are wonderful. The thing is that when you have a very old cat the groomer should never rush them through the process of the shampoo, drying, combing, nails, and all the other wonderful spa treatments for my 18 year old fur baby. They are a drop off service then they contact you when kitty is ready to come home. This works very well.

We love bringing our dogs here to get their nails clipped. Great prices for a job well done.

My dog doesn't like people but they said she did awesome. Staff was very friendly and patient with her.

They were not able to fully groom my cat. I'm sure she was being difficult. However, my cat was there for over 5 hours, and I did not hear from them until it was nearly their closing time. If I lived any further away, she would have been there past their closing time. I wish they had communicated with me at the 2 hour mark (the time they estimated they would need for grooming her) what progress they had made and let me decide if I wanted to leave her there for the remainder of the day. I don't know if she had access to food, water, or a litter box. Though, I do appreciate that they only charged me for the work they were able to accomplish regardless of the length of time she was there, and I do really appreciate them trying to work with my cat and not forcing her to endure something just because I had requested it. I wish there had been more communication throughout the day.

We moved to SE Portland a little over a year ago and began taking our beloved Asher to Tails of Mischief. They are always professional, communicative, and all the professionals they employ CAN GROOM, and WELL! My boy is no walk in the park when it comes to grooming and does not require any sedatives while getting groomed here. Also, I have seen all types of dog walking out looking stunning. This is an intimate, privately owned shop. I would 100% recommend.

My family has been going to them for years...cat grooming & nail clipping for our dogs. They've always done excellent work without traumatizing. They take the time to keep our pets from being over stressed.

Love this place. They are careful, thorough and loving to my very large older dog who no lo get hears very well. He looks forward to going. And gets excited every time we take a trip from Sandy Oregon clear over to the King Rd. 82nd Avenue area where they are located.
