Easiest nail trim experience ever! My terrier has a lot of anxiety about nail trims because of a long ago instance where another groomer cut her nails to the quick. I've been taking her to Lexi for the past 5 years for nail trims. It takes less than 10 minutes and they have never once hurt her. It's also really affordable and the customer service is personable.

Really cool place for your pup to network and make doggy deals and connections. Seriously, the staff is capable and trustworthy toward your canine companion. They truly care there.

Lexi Dog is fantastic. Been bringing my dog here regularly for since early 2019 and have only had wonderful experiences. Especially love the daily report cards!

My dog Remy loves coming here for daycare! They're the only ones we trust with our delicate flower when we go out of town, too. John is always so friendly and goes above and beyond. Kali is also amazing and is Remy's favorite person in the world. Remy was terrified of other dogs and humans when we adopted him. Lexidog was the only daycare willing to work with him. He has become a completely different dog! He's way more confident and friendly. Thank you all for everything you do!

I do NOT recommend! I used to work at this location, and I was appalled at how poorly run this business is. Daycare is too small for 40+ dogs, there are no planned activities, dogs get bored and bark all day, and then get screamed at by the clueless staff. Dogs get hurt and their injuries are not seen and taken care of right away. There are safety concerns for the staff and dogs, some negligence and sanitary issues. There are questionable management methods, disrespectful staff members, unethical treatment of staff by the owner, an unorganized system, and outdated business practices. There is a high turnover of employees, no training offered in dog behavior or first aid, constant miscommunication between staff members, and passive management who refuse to fix ongoing problems. All the incompetence at this business constantly puts the dog's safety at risk. On a daily basis during nap time some dogs are put into crates, then stacked on top of each other and put in a small closet with the door closed for over an hour! I was blamed for something that I didn't do, was screamed at and told by management that I couldn't leave, it was traumatizing. The owner has questionable judgement, and uses manipulation and intimidation to control her employees. The owner doesn't give the employees their tips! Not a safe place to take your dog and a terrible place to be employed. Over 10 years of being in business and they still do not have their act together! Suzanne you need to do better and treat other women with respect. I will never forget my traumatic experience working for your company so I will keep updating my review so you will never forget about me. :)

Getting a dog's nails cut once a month is important. I have learned this the hard way with an older dog. But it is worth it

I brought my Labradoodle in for his first grooming and just got a "tidy up' and bath and brush and he is so shiny and fluffy and adorable!! The price was also way better than any other place I looked at. 10/10 would recommend these ladies! Super nice women at the front desk as well!

Always great customer service and they do a great job grooming my dog. I would highly suggest this place plus they have doggy daycare and doggy play times for when it gets rainy outside and the dog parks are wet and muddy. You can bring your pup here and play in the playroom with other dogs. It's a great place and I would love to go there more often just to go shopping and to drop my dog off for daycare, which she seems to enjoy.

I took my Boston Terrier here for daycare and asked that they trim his nails as well. When I picked him up he had blood in both of his eyes. They said he strained so hard during the nail trim that he popped a vessel. Nobody called me. I’ve never had issues trimming my dogs nails. He doesn’t even flinch when I do them myself. I have no idea what they did to him but it must have been horrific. And then to not call me and let him stay at daycare for the day... that is just negligent. I had to rush my dog to the vet to have his eyes looked at. Thankfully he is fine but it was very scary. The lack of professionalism and care at this place is disturbing. I would not recommend Lexie to anyone.

Heather our Groomer is the best. For several years now she has taken care of our dog who has such high anxiety he has to be on Prozac 3 times a day to survive life. Most Groomers won’t touch him and have refused to groom him except 2 and Heather is one of them. She has a wonderful way with dogs. I’m more then happy to drive 1.5 hours round trip for her to give our dog his scheduled 90-120 day shave. He always looks so good and smells so good after Heather is done with him. She has a gift... I highly recommend Heather

I would not recommend this place. My sister took her dogs in for a consultation. The owner stated to leave her dogs for a couple of hours so she can get a feel for them to leave the next day. We return in a couple of hours to get the dogs and find out if they are ok to leave the next day, the original day we needed the daycare. First we get charged for the couple of hours " feel for the dogs" and then the owner states that she will not accept our dogs the next day, which is when we needed it originally. Bad customer service and communication.

Thank you Hazel! First time customer and Bruiser and I had an amazing experience. Thanks to the friendly and talented Hazel my little 8lbs. chihuahua can walk and jump better after his nail grooming. Fast, friendly service. So many treats and accessories to choose from. If you haven't been there yet, try it! 5/5 ????!

We started bringing our puppy to daycare at the Pearl location several months ago, she's attended 30 to 50 days, but we will not be returning. As mentioned in other reviews, there are some serious hygiene and cleanliness problems at this location. There's an overwhelming smell of urine that they try to mask with candles and neutralizers, but thats a minor concern compared to the health issues that we have experienced. In the last 3 -4 months, our puppy contracted kennel cough, a bacterial infection, and oral papillomas. It's also worth mentioning that the manager, Lia, is faintly aloof. Every interaction with her has left me feeling completely underwhelmed. I've also witnessed their groomer treat her customers with complete disdain; she is rude and belittles them in front of other patrons. I do not recommend them - go elsewhere!

This place COMPLETELY wasted my time and money. I called them beforehand explaining I had a 3 month old puppy that I needed emergency daycare for, for one day literally two days away so I was in panic mode trying to get something set. They knew my situation and about my pup prior to me showing up. They told me to come in for an evaluation to make sure she was friendly...etc. So I did, I hurried down there at 5 during rush hour. They wanted to keep her for an hour to see how she did in the back. I agreed to that as well. I was told multiple times that she did fantastic and they "were pretty sure she would be okay" but they wanted to double check with their manager. So I didn't make any other daycare plans since they seemed so confident in their answer. Fast forward to this morning: I get a call saying they won't take her all the sudden because she is 3 months. Which is hilarious because they all knew that PRIOR TO ME EVEN COMING IN. Did I mention they also charged me $15 FOR THEIR EVALUATION???? Yes. I got charged, told my dog did good in the back and then they decided they wont even take her. Stole my time and money basically with the most lack luster follow through service I have ever seen. Luckily I found a wonderful place willing to take my pup tomorrow last minute. Moral of my story: Don't waste your time on Lexi Dog. Find somewhere that actually cares about the owner and dog.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! For the sake of your dogs health, I urge you to look elsewhere. I started bringing my Golden Retriever puppy to this location after receiving all of his vaccinations. Within the ~20 times we brought him to this location (in a 4-6 month span) he came home with kennel cough twice, giardia once, and most recently oral papillomas (mouth warts). Apparently they had an outbreak of oral papillomas at this location and didn't bother to tell me before I brought him in. This daycare is overcrowded and hygiene is obviously a major issue - there are tons of similar negative reviews on the web from customers who experience the same problems. The health issues my dog has returned home with after daycare have cost me hundreds of dollars in vet bills, and now because of his warts I am forced to keep my puppy out of any daycare (or allow him to have any social interaction with other dogs) for 3+ months while he is still contagious. I cannot stress how irresponsible the owner is to allow this to happen, and for employees to not inform their patrons when there is a health issue or outbreak going on. I will be having a conversation with the BBB about this.

Absolutely love LexiDog!! I take my dogs here for daycare and boarding and they are always dragging me down the street when they see the purple building. It is so heartwarming to know how happy my pups get when they see the staff and get to play with their friends. The staff is very professional and very nice. I get updates on my pups when they are boarded and report cards for daycare. Highly recommend!!!!

as dog friendly as Portland may be for visitors, it was great to find such a nice place to leave our puppy for the afternoon while we did some work.

I've been taking my dog, Abby, here for 6 months. The staff treat her as if she's one of their own... it really is her home away from home. And she always comes home EXHAUSTED! Great place. Highly recommend it.
