We scheduled an evaluation for our dog about 6 weeks ago. It is a process that involves a 15 minute preliminary evaluation, where you are asked to wait in case your dog immediately fails, and then a subsequent several hour eval. during which time you are allowed to leave and the establishment will call you later to come pick up your dog. We know this because of calls/emails we exchanged with them and we had planned accordingly (we live roughly 30 minutes away). We also exchanged a couple additional emails with evidence of our dog's vaccination status between the time we initially scheduled and our actual appointment date, and yet for some reason when we showed up for our appointment today we were turned away. They claimed we were not scheduled. Even after we showed them our appointment email, they said there was nothing that they could do. They took down our phone number again and said the owner would call us, but we have yet to hear from them. This is especially frustrating when the evaluations are only done during mid day/mid week. We had to take time off from work to make this evaluation just to be turned away. Almost 2 months of planning this evaluation for nothing. Very disorganized establishment. Thank you for wasting our time today and our time in the future since we will now have to repeat this evaluation process at a different business. Most importantly, we are upset because our dog was really excited when we pulled up and could hear all the other pups playing behind the gate. What a let down!

Tails (pup) goes to DDI for Grooming and Doggy Daycare. Grooming - friendly staff, easy booking process. After the initial meeting i was informed on areas of the coat to focus on to avoid matting, and also given advice on tools that would make grooming at home easier. For puppy owners, they offer a puppy intro session to help get your dog acclimated to the noises/tools, and i would highly recommend Daycare - for puppies, they offer a puppy social for dogs under 6 months old which is a half day of supervised playtime with other puppies. Tails absolutely loves this and honestly doesn’t want to come home. When he does get home he is so tired for the rest of the day he just falls asleep! So basically you get a full day of day care if your dog is like mine! They also post videos to Instagram sometimes that shows the dogs playing, i love that! Overall i am very satisfied with the services we have tried at DDI, and would recommend to other puppy/dog owners. Make sure to book well in advance as things tend to sell out

My dog loves it here. I tried out a few places and this is the one she is pumped to go to and to leave. She doesn't even look back when I unleash her.

Great staff all-around; good with communication, great knowledge of dog behavior. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care.

A wonderful place to take your dog fir training and train him/her yourself with guidance. We love both the day training classes and the night/weekend train-your-own dog classes. Kind, firm and loving training!

Our pup is enrolled in their puppy socialization program and she absolutely loves it! After the first 2 weeks, we really started to notice how she picked up some good behaviors from this puppy social, and now every time we drop her off she excitedly runs in! They keep you updated on social media with pictures and videos of the puppies, which is really nice. They obviously care about the dogs and it shows!

I love what they did to help people (and dogs) be safe. So happy they're open now. ????????

A really great spot that my pup can't get enough of! They have updated the facility and it looks great - not to mention is now improved for COVID safety as well. Really love this local business and encourage you to check it out!

Ayla LOVES going to daycare and I love knowing she is living her best life while I am at work. I love the drop off process and parking is always so easy!!!! My girl comes home exhausted from all the fun and I sleep well knowing she did!

This was Jasper, our non-Standard Poodle's first visit to Dogs Dig it. Nancy (Groomer) was amazing and thoroughly explained the process, greeted us warmly and did a wonderful job on him. A veritable paradise for pups! The staff take such thoughtful care of the dogs, and there’s a constant environment of joy and wellbeing surrounding the entire space. What lucky pups who get to spend their days at Dogs Dig It!

My rescue dog is very skittish and scared of a lot of things, but his nails were so long we were worried about them hurting him, so trimming his nails was a must. They handled him very well, despite him thrashing around quite a bit, and I will definitely be coming back here soon. Very good service! Would definitely recommend to other dog owners.

The groomers here are PHENOMENAL!! The head groomer Nancy apparently has been doing this for well over a decade and the well of knowledge she provides on overall pet care and wellness is nothing short of a God send. Best part I dont have to wait 5hrs to pick up my dog. I drop him off and and he later hes looking amazing and is always in a better mood than when I dropped him off. 100% The best groomers in PDX!!

Nancy is fantastic! She’s seriously talented and does such a wonderful job with our mini doodle. We get stopped on our walks at least once a week and asked where our dog gets groomed.

I couldn't recommend this daycare enough. We've had trouble in the past with our (very stubborn & loud) dog and finding a daycare that works for her. She's responded well to this environment and all of the workers are very in tune to each dog. I've noticed they learn each dogs' quirks and how they communicate, which I really appreciate. Someone even put a sweater on our dog because she was cold, it was very thoughtful. An added bonus is that the place does not smell and my dog never smells bad after leaving daycare.

For ten years they have taken care of my Labrador Lobo when needed...they are the best in town.

We've been bringing our dog to DDI since we moved here in 2016. It doesn't seem like much from the outside but on the inside there is an amazing staff ready to hangout with your dog all day. They know our dog's name (Mari), and when we go to pick her up they'll tell us how she acted/how much she played. The outdoor spaces for the dogs (there is 4 technically) is all they could ever want. Plenty of space to run, shaded areas, fans, toys, and even a kids jungle gym to play on. They also have a lot of great resources on their website from pricing to live webcams of the yards. If you have a social pup that loves to play I HIGHLY recommend Dogs Dig It.

As we approach Dogs Dig It my dogs get super excited. They can't wait to get inside. The staff knows my dogs and always takes great care of them. Couldn't recommend more highly.

We had an amazing grooming experience here! It was our goldendoodle’s first time getting groomed and Nancy was extremely patient with our dog (who was being a handful). She was a great listener and gave her the cut we wanted. I really appreciate how considerate she was about putting our nervous dog at ease. Great work and amazing service!!
