Dr. Nelson and his staff are wonderful! Our Jack Russell had an exam and dental cleaning. The exam was very thorough. Even though our baby had to have 14 extractions he's had minimal pain. We definitely have a new vet!

They are a great team. Warm, caring, explain treatment and needs , etc. We are sure our family members get the best care possible :) Thank you.

I find Todd Nelson, DVM , to be a kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, veterinarian....that is if you get in to see him especially when your pets life is at stake.. But....... Charlie is dead !!!! Charlie the 8 month old kitten ,was the only ,and absolutely perfect answer, to end our dog Kira ,6 months of unending mourning for her sister/ bestest friend Juno our Great Pry. When you take on a human, or an animal client as a doctor, it's for better or worse. With me out of my mind trying to nurse a cat who was in terrible pain, while babysitting my grandson , and being told "the doctors out for lunch, and when he gets back, he's got a full schedule" is unacceptable! I have not a doubt that should that same employee have the need for immediate care of a beloved pet ,the response of "he's too busy" would not have been given ,or accepted. I had no idea there's a priority for only dogs as patients, but I sure found that out ,as Charlie's life slipped away, in incredible pain ,over the next 5 hour's.. During that time I had called and left message at 6 places with not one call back. My neighbor and a friend were busy calling any places open or set up as emergency medicine capable. Again no response until.finaly Cats Meow said yes. Unfortunately by then all she could do as Charlie had slipped into shock ,barely registering a temperature, was to allow us kiss's, pets ,goodbyes, and thanks so much for helping out Kira and mercifully put him to sleep. Not a call back asking about him from Pet Vet .. Not an offer of them finding a needed doctor. An animal clinic, especially when in dire need , is only as good as it's front staff ! As a stand alone veterinary clinic there should be a system already set up for emergencies that they aren't up to caring for per species ,or too overwhelmed to care for ,due to bookings . No one else who Todd sees for shots or checkups should ever get a "were too busy and you might try...." in an emergency. Sadly lacking it appears, is any thoughts beyond normal activities. A lesson learned by me ,and anyone who asks me for a vet recommendation.

My kitten Charlie was hit by a car and died yesterday. We have used Todd Nelson for our animals since we moved here. We called immediately. The front desk person said the doctor was at lunch and was booked and they wouldn’t see us. She is a heartless B. Not to even check with Dr Nelson was reprehensible. If it were her cat this wouldn’t have happened. It took us 5 hours to reach a vet who would see us. By then it was too late and Charlie could not be saved. Unless they hire a compassionate front desk person DO NOT GO THERE!

Great staff! Great vet! We will be taking all of our pets there. Awesome communication. Refer to all my friends. What a GEM to find.

I absolutely love the doctor and staff at Pet Vet. Great customer service, prices and care.

They got us in quickly as this was a pressing issue. I didn't feel like they rushed care because things were busy, but that they took all the time needed to diagnose the problem and offer treatment options.

Have taken our furry family here for years. Good doctor and nurses.

I dropped my fur baby off today to get some flea meds and bloodwork done cause he hasn't felt good. They were so informative and understanding. They did amazing. Very thorough and fast. I think he was there for about an hour.

Pet Vet - Todd A. Nelson, DVM I shopped around to find the best price for dental cleaning in addition to possible extractions. I went to Pet Vet to have all 3 of my Long-haired Chihuahuas dental cleaning done at the same time. I was very pleased with the price and results. I always recommend Pet Vet. Dr. Todd Nelson is caring and honest.

They are always so nice, straightforward and honest. Our dog hates the vet but they make it quick and easy. They never push you to spend as much money as possible. They just recommend what’s necessary.

Love the thoroughness of Dr Todd, so great with my dogs and answering all my questions and concerns. Trust him completely with my fur babies.

I truly appreciate the time and effort Dr. Todd and his techs put into each exam and procedure. My dog has been seen 3 times in the past month for wildly different things (lipomas, a dental that also turned into a tonsillectomy, and a spinal injury) and each time I was very pleased with the thorough exam, the explanation with what is going on with my pet, and the ease I felt leaving him in their care. Very professional. Very thorough. They allow you to watch the exam through a window. Which is nice since most veterinarians are curbside. We definitely will be back. Also the neutering fee is reasonable.
