They fit us in when 4 other places, including our vet we've been with for years, couldn't. Compassionate, attentive and considerate of our needs. We plan to keep going to them.

Please! Take your animals here! They are very sweet, and they truly care about your animals. I bring my pitbull here and they treat her with the utmost respect and love! Even though most people fear a nervous pitbull, they understood that she is still the sweetest dog in the world and would never hurt anybody! That alone makes them amazing, but then they go a step above by being easy to work with and knowledgeable about many different situations. They have helped me out more times than I could possibly count!

If you have a million dollars to spend it's a great place I can go out to my local vet out in Eagle Point and spend less than a quarter of the money for the better service

The trial sample of cat toothpaste was $7??? They need more flora out front and in the office, the cats and dogs need to stop and smell the flowers too. The fish were cool though, and one did upside down spins ????

I started using VCA in Redding after my home and vet office burned down in Paradise! I really liked the Redding office. So when we landed in Medford I was happy for a smooth transition to the VCA office here. I knew I was paying a higher price then almost every other Vet in the valley. So because of that I expect 5 star service. Well my last visit was barley a 2 star experience. I walk in and am standing there for 5 minutes and nobody even acknowledges me. I finally just say I am here for my dogs appointment and go and sit down still not being acknowledged! I wait for 40 minutes while my dog is scared and whining the whole time(she has had PTSD since the Camp Fire). Nobody says anything like hey it’s gonna be a little wait or anything! The two customers that came in after me were greeted and told that there was an extended wait time! When I finally got called into a room the service was just ok not 5 star. I honestly felt like I was an inconvenience to the girls in the front! I honestly am disappointed at the customer service and because of that I am transferring my vet care to another provider!

We took our baby girl to see Dr. Chilton. Our baby was 17 years old and she had cancer. Dr. Chilton helped us do all we could until it was time to say goodbye. She was so professional and caring when the hardest decision my husband and I ever had to make came around. She made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen and was very kind hearted about it. Thank you Dr. Chilton.

My first experience was with the veterinarian side of the clinic. They deserve about 3 stars. They told me that my dog didn’t cooperate and that I would need to try to administer medication into my dogs ears. Then they prescribed him a sedative for a return visit for them to administer another medication. I appreciated the follow up visit and that they didn’t want to stress him out too much. It was pricey, but the level of care was at least professional and the end result was a healthy dog. My experience with the grooming side was terrible. They only deserve about one star. I called and asked when their next appointment was available. They scheduled the appointment at 1:30. I showed up on time for drop off, and they quickly came out and got him. That’s where it went down hill. Closing time was 4:00 and I was assured that he would be ready near that time. I called at 4:15 to check on him. They first transferred me to talk to another person who was grooming a dog with the same name as mine. When I spoke to the correct person, I was informed that he was not finished and that they would be unable to give him a cut until next week. No attempt was made to reschedule him, no attempt at contacting me to even just discuss the situation. I feel like they forgot whose dog he was and didn’t know who to call about it. They seemed inept and incapable of doing the job they should be proficient at and did so with zero tact or professionalism. I paid $60 for a bath and brush and my dog was in their possession for over 4 hours. I would rather have been scheduled at a time they could actually finish the job or have gone elsewhere… they will not receive my business again.

Due to covid you have to drop off your pet and wait outside in your car. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Vet gives you detailed information of treatment required.

Wow, so saddend by the events of today. We have taken both our cats to this establishment for all of their needs (except emergencies when they are closed) for 3+ years. We have never missed a check up and do all the preventative stuff for our kitties. Today we are moving to another city, 4 hours away, with moving van and crew rented and a very tight schedule. One of our babies woke up with a swollen eye and we don't have the time to take him in for an appointment. I called and explained the situation to the receptionist and asked if there was any way they could prescribe some antibiotics to reduce the swelling, since our cat is known to them and is up to date with all preventative treatment, until we could get him to a vet in Salem. I explained that we usually would not ask for such a thing, but we just can't make it in for an appointment. I didn't even get a call back. My baby is still swollen and will have to make the long drive in so much discomfort. I will never take my cats to any VCA ever again!! Too bad for them, I guess, since we spend quite a bit of money there with checkups and grooming, etc. *Edit: the call was returned 6 hours later when we were already on the road. They denied us antibiotics but told us to flush the eye with saline. Like no kidding anyone who knows anything would know that that can be helpful if something is stuck in the eye, but this is a soft tissue swelling around the eye, so it won't help. Heartless veterinary office with poor judgment. Do not take your babies here.

What rubbed me wring was when they wanted $500. To take my dog and keep her comfortable. All I had was $400. On me I live out past shady cove I told them I could go get the money and come back and the lady talking to me told me that I was going to have to have the hole 500 before they would look at her or take x-rays. I know they don't cost that much. It felt like they wouldn't even do what my money would cover to at least give me an idea of the extent of her injuries. I took my dog to another vet. I was glad I made that decision

I’m so disappointed in the lack of care they provided for my dog. I took him in today to get his ears looked at as he’s been itchy. We have to wait in the parking lot due to Covid which is fine, but as I was waiting I witnessed a community service officer with a dog in the bed of his truck needing emergency assistance and they REFUSED to help this poor dog!!! Sent the officer clear across town when the dog may not make it!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Isn’t this an animal hospital? Makes me sick. And on top of it, they wanted to run all these expensive tests for my dogs ears and refused to prescribe him the same drops they have before for the same issue as he’s had in the past. I will never bring my dog back here again! *Update- The poor dog that’s needed emergent care didn’t make it. I was there when the officer brought him back to meet his owner and it was devastating to witness. The staff at VCA should of helped. I’m appalled!

I have nothing but respect for Dr. Harder and his staff at VCA Jackson Animal Hospital. He has been our go to Vet since 2005 and our daughter's vet before that. Dr. Harder has helped us care for three dearly loved pets and was comforting and gentle when the time came to say good bye. He and his staff are again providing our two new(ish) poodles with excellent and compassionate service and care. I highly recommend VCA Jackson Animal Hospital for you fur families.
