We really appreciated finding this very as our cat has a rare skin disease and it was getting costly at our normal vet. He has plenty of experience with this type of thing, so it was helpful.

Kona has been going here for 1 1/2 years now. They have helped her so much. The staff and Dr Plant are always so welcoming and knowledgeable. If your pet is having allergy issues I would highly recommend this clinic!!

Poor customer service from front office staff. I will take my pet elsewhere. At the fees being charged they need to put the pet first always. Dissapointing.

First visit with my cat, who has an ongoing, intermittent skin issue. Dr. Plant was very knowledgeable and spent the time to explain all my questions and put my kitty on the path to a cure.

Phenomenal! I have a cocker spaniel who's got some special needs. She has chronic ear infections, glaucoma, cardiac issues and epilepsy.  At this point, we are used to seeing a specialist - Dr Plant was amazing! He knew her health history and prior medications, in fact he knew the drug names that I forgot we had tried last year! He was thorough and the follow up with the office has been fantastic. I went back to work after the appointment and immediately told EVERYONE how great he was. He treated my pup like he would a real human! He had notes (that he ACTUALLY reviewed before the appointment) and then spent what felt like 30 minutes with her. Care plan made sense and we have had multiple opportunities to ask questions. Hands down would recommend.

This place has some amazing customer service and is extremely knowledgeable. Cost us a pretty penny, but was expected when coming to a specialist. Hoping we can finally give our fur baby some relief from his skin issues.

I have a complicated English bulldog, I tell them my concerns an they meet or exceed my expectations.

We were referred by our dog’s physical therapist because of ongoing itchiness. They saw him for ten minutes and charged over $200 for basically nothing. They offered to give him a cortisone shot which we declined because steroids seemed unnecessary in the situation. They didn’t ask about his food, diet, etc. He has always had ear issues but were told they skipped the ear exam because they didn’t want to sedate him (he’s a pug and isn’t a fan of having his ears looked at but he is NEVER aggressive, just will try to squirm away from you) but there have probably been 20 other vets who have successfully examined his ears over his lifetime with little trouble. I called and voiced my concern about the high exam fee considering the minimal care and was brushed off. I do not recommend.

Dr. Plant and staff are awesome! Paris, our kitty, was really tired from a year full of vet visits. Skinvet was gentle helping her relax and trust again. With her improvement she has had so much energy I can't believe it. Thank you so much!

My dog has an allergy that they were able to diagnose and offer several different treatment options. We moved forward with one and have been able to stay on top of it ever since. My sweet baby is no longer itchy and miserable and you can't put a price on that piece of mind. Both doctors and all the staff are great and know and love my little drama queen and they are reasonably priced. I bring my fur baby in anytime a skin concern has come up. Thank you Skinvet! I am just completely at a loss for words. The people here are kind but that does not exceed our experiences and the amount of time and money (what feels like) wasted. I called in and spoke with a lady via phone about your procedures, the efficacy of your solutions offered, the cost, and the types of allergy issues my dog had been experiencing the last few years. So you could imagine how excited I was to come in and finally get the answers and relief from the Dermatologist specialist! 30 minutes into our initial consultation and we were already well over the $$ quote that I was given. I left the clinic with a $1000 bill that, over the next two weeks, seemed for absolutely nothing. The VT’s/Drs were kind enough to correspond via E-mail a few times following her procedure as her skin seemed to get more inflamed and itchy. It wasn’t noted until I went in two weeks later very concerned that I was told “these are possible effects which is common, so we encourage you to lower the dosage of immunotherapy.” GREAT! I was excited to give that a go. Here we are almost a month out and her skin is 100% worse than it was before we went in, she is so miserable and itchy, and INFLAMED like never before. I am left with no where else to turn and nothing to be proud of. My dog is my entire world and this is so devastating to see her go through. I feel like for the time spent in the clinic and absolutely the money spent, we shouldn’t be 30 steps back from where we started. Had I of not declined a few different shampoos, flea treatments, and other suggestions to continue tallying up the $$$ I would have definitely spent another $300+. I cannot say that they value money over animals here because they have been really kind to us but I will say that living in LA and Denver for multiple years in each (two of the most expensive cities in the US) the Vet/Dermatologist costs here are astronomical and the results just don’t measure up... at least for us. Im one devastated doggie mom.

I would recommend Skin vet clinic to anyone! They have an extremely caring and dedicated team! Dr. Carnett has gone above and beyond expectations for our dog. I am grateful for the love, compassion, and knowledge this entire organization has offered for our dogs condition.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with this clinic. All staff are amazing. The doctor is patient, understanding, and really doesn't seem to mind a gazillion questions. If you have a dog with skin or ear issues, you really can't go wrong here.

I would like to thank this clinic for taking care of my doberman. She was having skin and weight issues due to her thyroid issue and this clinic was gentle and sweet with her. They put her on the correct medication and she looks amazing! Thank you Dr. Carnett and your staff.

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU for giving my kitties their lives back. I have two kitties that see Dr. Carnett. Dr. Carnett, the receptionists and the vet techs are all wonderful and supportive. One kitty has severe skin issues, and I’ve spend an abundance trying to figure out the issue. The whole team has helped give her have a better quality of life. One thing people need to know is allergen control is an on going thing, and this office will work with you for the long haul. They get back to me quickly, answer any questions I have and are always able to get my kitty in whenever necessary. The other kitty had her ear scoped and as a nervous cat mom, I felt as ease leaving her here in good hands. I can’t recommend highly enough. I feel like, dermatology for animals does come at a cost, but I feel like everyone here is in it for the care of the animals. Do yourself a favor and start here! Don’t waste your time and money elsewhere like I have. You won’t regret it!! Thank you all again so much for taking such good care of my babies!!

This place saved my bulldogs ears!!! They are so kind and sympathetic. My bulldog is very cranky at the vet and they know how to handle them without me feeling stressed. Highly recommend this vet for any skin or ear problems.

They are the best & everyone is so nice!

All of the staff that we interacted with were kind and compassionate. Dr. Plant was extremely generous in adjusting his busy schedule to see us with an urgent issue despite being fully booked. Our dog is making a full recovery and feeling much better thanks to their team.

After a year and a half of dealing with a sever skin issue Dr. Carnett got us on the right track and resolved my dogs skin issue!!

I definitely recommend taking your dog here if he keeps getting breakouts from allergies. My dog is much better now

Took our dog in there close to 3 weeks ago for some growths that it had to get them checked out. After it was determined that we weren’t there for a skin disease/rash the doctor measured the growths, took some fluid samples and was going to get back to us in a couple of days... We have yet to hear anything back from them..., ended up visiting our standard vet who was able to assist us better.

Everyone is really sweet,and they handle my scary dog very professionally, thanks lady's ????

Medication for life was our vet's prognosis, so we reached out to SkinVet and couldn't be happier. We now have options and a plan in place. We know what our boy is allergic to, and working on desensitizing him. The staff at SkinVet is wonderful! So nice and caring. They take the time to answer questions and address concerns. I highly recommend SkinVet to anyone looking for solutions for their pets skin issues.

Have to drive 5 hours to SkinVet and will continue to do so. Had a terrible experience in Boise where they charged $500 and couldn't diagnose. Dr. Plant did accurately diagnose and his staff taught me how to prevent the reaccurance in the future! If not for SkinVet, my dog's eardrums would have been ruined from a growing fungus. Incredible practice!

Dr. Plant is fantastic, and the staff is terrific as well. They made an astronomical difference for my dog, and we were beyond desperate. He isn't pushy and doesn't nickel and dime you. I am so grateful that I was referred to him even though I thought it was silly at first. I highly recommend this practice.
