VCA Keizer Veterinary Hospital Keizer, Oregon

I called to pick up a prescription food for my cat and was told I need to come in for an appointment in order for a vet to examine my cat to make sure she needs it. I told them I had a prescription for my cat at another VCA location in Fort Collins, CO and asked if I could have the CO location send records to prove my cat needs the food for her condition. I moved here not long ago and ran out. I was told that I still would have to have her come in for an exam regardless, which is a lot of extra money and effort. This makes absolutely no sense and feels dishonest, I know VCA locations run individually, but why can’t you take records from another location to get your clients what they need? That’s just terrible customer service and makes clients spend more money than necessary. I’m very disappointed in how these clinics are run, these policies just take advantage of people and feels heartless.

They make sure my pet is good...

Since VCA Iris closed they told me I could get my dogs Bravecto for a one month supply IF I scheduled an appointment with them for an exam. When I told them I scheduled an exam with a different location they then told me that I could not get the one month supply anymore since I was not paying for the exam with them. After this phone call I have realized they do not care about the well being of my animal. It seems they only care about the money.

The vets are knowledgeable and friendly, and you don't have to wait for hours to be seen.

The Veterinarian is incredibly rude, busts through the doors without knocking almost hitting her newborn patient in the face.

We took our cat in for her first appointment today and they were really fantastic! Everyone was so kind and we got in right away. They were really clear about our billing and what was going on with our cat before anything was done. Really friendly and professional staff. We will definitely be returning ????

I’m so appreciative of the Drs and staff at Keizer Veterinary Clinic. They were so caring as I had to say good-bye to my sweet Libby, my 13 year old cat. It was such a heartbreaking time for me and they were so very understanding. About a week after we put her to sleep I received a very sweet sympathy card signed by the Dr and the staff. They have been our choice for a veterinary for a number of years, and they will continue to be with our future 4-legged family members. Thank-you to Keizer Vet Hospital!

Friendly staff and great vets!

I needed Rabies shots for my 2 cats. Went in last Wednesday, had the shots done today. I needed this for a property management company. Wonderful staff, great coffee too! I will go back to get the rest of shots later on, I am so grateful.

The front office staff is extremely helpful, understanding, and very nice. The Vet and the techs are also friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable.

Love it here Dr. Virgin takes care of my dog. He is a true veterinary doctor. I recommend all my friends who have pets to come see him. He is the best.

I was anxious taking my cat in but as soon as I arrived...The clinic cat came to comfort my howling cat, nice care at the receptionist area, vet tech had excellent customer service and the doctor was very thorough. Whew, another smooth yearly exam. Two more cats to go!

The staff is wonderful, but they are a bit pricey.

Staff is top notch. Pricing seems a little high. Priced teeth cleaning and came back over a grand. Paid under 500 dollars several times in the past

Our oldest dog was recently seen at VCA for diagnosis and removal of a mass cell tumor and I must say that Dr. Skillman and her tech did a wonderful job and we are so very grateful for their professionalism and vast knowledge. Thank you so much. It's worth noting that this is the VCA hospital across from the Pour House on the corner of Dearborn and River Rd. With that said this location is my preference and will now be our dog family vet.

The staff is extremely friendly. They clearly love animals. They did an excellent job of making my anxious dog comfortable and were even able to trim his nails which is something I can't even do. The only reason for the 4 Star instead of 5 is because of the new electronic record. I was the first getting a quote for surgery so that took them awhile to figure out. They also didn't have the next months schedule templated (so nothing past 2 weeks and minimal openings). Check out took a very long time because of this.
