We have the care club here for our cat and they're always so good to us and him. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I'm very happy with our choice of vet and would recommend them to anyone.

I adopted my dog, Doyle just over a year ago and from the beginning VCA was my trusted partner for caring for my new fur family! VCA has helped care and love my dog like he was theirs. I moved 3 hours from my vet but cannot even image taking my Doyle to anyone but Delta Oaks VCA so we just made the trip up for the yearly exam. They are the most amazing people, wonderful veterinarians, amazing techs, and an awesome front desk! I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done!

I had previously left a 5 Star Review when Dr. Schulke saved my senior cat Vern from a life threatening Diabetes Emergency last Xmas. This review is an update of my most recent experience. I ALWAYS take Vern to see Dr. Schulke, he is the best choice for Cats, and specializes in their care. I am more than happy with him. Vern recently came down with some congestion, and it sounded like fluid in his lungs. He also had some abnormal behaviors, like circling the house, vomiting, repeated trips to the litter box, diarrhea, and bloody stools. He is a senior cat with Diabetes in remission, so he’s bound to have some struggles, and I understand that. I had to see a different Vet this time named Dr. Samuel. I trusted VCA Delta Oaks, because of my previous positive experience with my regular Vet (Dr Schulke). I am horrified at what I just experienced the one time I had to try someone else, because my regular Vet was out of town. The only reason I agreed to it, is because I was afraid the respiratory distress my Cat was having was serious, and having him seen sooner, rather than later is best. Especially, after a recent 6500.00 hospital stay. I stressed to this new vet (Dr. Samuel) that he had Diabetes, and recently had a life threatening issue. Dr. Samuel gave his advice, by stating that he is not the expert on Cats, and that’s Dr. Schulke. Then proceeded to tell me that whatever my Cat has is on the way out, and to call, and fill a prescription if symptoms worsen. I remember acting hesitant, saying, are you sure? Dr. Samuel claimed that it was nothing too serious, so I took my Cat home. A few weeks later, Vern started to sound terrible, I was pretty worried. I called in, and wanted to bring Vern back in, but the receptionist insisted that Dr Samuel left a note, that she can just fill the prescription for a respiratory infection. I questioned that as well, saying, “well I’m not sure if that’s the medicine he needs, he hasn’t been in for weeks, and I’m not entirely sure this is a respiratory infection.” They urged me to come pick up the prescription so I did. I gave Vern his Clavamox for 7 days (which I’ve read after the fact, that it doesn’t agree with Cats well). He threw up on the last day of his meds, but was still eating, and acting happy, but sounded only a little bit better after his full dosing. A couple days after that, I was about to take him back in, and the night before I was going to call VCA: Vern ended up having a heart attack from congestive heart failure, which is extremely common in Cats, this shouldn’t have been missed!!! He vomited 3 times, choked dramatically, went limp in my hands, and died on the way to the ER in my carrier, in less than 5 min he was gone. This Cat should have been examined further, I’ve done my research, and his symptoms were serious, and were ignored. Then when I asked for help again, they prescribe a medicine that would do nothing for the emergency my Cat was experiencing. They should have been way less negligent. My Cat of 16 years is never coming back, because they ignored serious symptoms, and Dr. Samuel had me fill prescriptions weeks after the cat had been examined, with no curiosity of re-examining him to see if the situation had worsened, or changed. I lost my world, and I’m positive more could have been done for my sweet Vern. Only go to Dr. Schulke for Cats. The receptionists, & other staff members are wonderful. My main issue is with the new Vet, and why was I scheduled with someone who doesn’t have expertise in Cats? Especially, Cats who have special issues like mine did. ????

Top notch... come with confidence your loved one will be well cared for & loved as you would expect. We've had care for last couple years for both our Tea cup Yorkies here including everything from general care, shots, chips, nails etc with regular checkups, but also major & concerning service like tooth removal & neutering ect. With any pet you need special care but with micros it's even more critical & special care must be taken even further. I feel like everyone here has been amazing everytime & our dear little micros don't come out traumatized. On the contrary they come out happy & we'll cared for with follow ups when needed. I recommend highly & appreciate them being here. Thank you

These people are the best! They texted me the day after my cat got his shots to make sure he was doing OK. Dr Dave explains what he is doing during exams. They even have a candle in the lobby to let you know if someone is saying goodbye to their pet ???? Basically I'm convinced they are the best practice ever.

New to the area and needed a new vet. I called one nearby clinic, but they were 6 weeks out on appointments. They said that VCA is scheduling one week out. I'd never done a "chain" vets, but was very happy with all aspects of our visit.

They are amazing, the staff makes both of my dogs calm, they are always helpful and anytime I have had an emergency I get in typically within a day or so, if not same day. I can't say enough!!

I love everything about this vet. They are so patient with my animals, clearly care about their clients, and are incredibly thoughtful with their work. They always check in on my animals after their visits, and answer all my questions honestly and thoroughly. Hands down the best vet staff in Eugene.

I just called too ask a question a quick question from my vet about my appointment 3 weeks ago I was told that I needed a appointment for this question to be answered I needed to pay for this question to be answer the front desk lady was really rude unprofessional and didn’t not seem like she cared to even talk about the situation definitely would not recommend this vet to no one unless it urgent feels like your pets Heath is unimportant unless there making some kinda profit i should be able to ask my vet a question about my check up that I paid for without me making a appointment to ask a simple question but the veterinarians here are great the service was not

Awesome staff who treat your pet as if they are family. I highly recommend it for the unique approach to treatment in the age of Covid-19.

I’m so happy to have found VCA Delta Oaks. I was in between vet offices when I noticed a very concerning issue with my cat. I called 15 different offices (including the one that we left most recently where we had a poor experience) and everyone was booked out a month! I called VCA Delta Oaks in the morning and got a same day appointment. My cat was seen promptly, the doctor and staff were communicative and sympathetic, and they quickly found a solution for my cat, who was in a fight (and lost) with another cat. I am extremely grateful that they were able to get us in on short notice and am excited to make them Guy Guy’s primary vet. Thank you staff and Dr.Lahm at VCA Delta Oaks!

I came to VCA Delta Oaks as a new client with my Golden the other day for a check up. They were very responsive, kind, communicative and treated us great. It was a quick appointment and the vet answered all of my questions and gave me enough information to be able to make a decision about my dog's care. Something that they did which my previous vet did not do is actually contact other vets we have been to in order to gather information on my dog's vaccinations - the dates for which are now conveniently located in the myVCA app on my phone that's super easy to use! I also got a great first time patient discount. This was the best vet experience in Eugene I have had so far and I will only go here from now on.

VCA Delta Oaks is my favorite Animal Hospital I’ve been to in Eugene! I’ve seen Dr. Schulke, & Dr. Rensema more than multiple times for my Cats, Vern & Tobie!! The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and polite! They helped save Vern’s life, and are a huge part of why he is alive today! I couldn’t be happier with how compassionate, knowledgeable, & attentive the Doctors are at this Hospital! Forever grateful for such a caring Animal Hospital! ????

This animal hospital is fantastic. We just moved to the area so it was out first visit and we felt so safe and well taken care of. I didn’t mind waiting in the car and talking to the vet over the phone. They followed the COVID-19 protocol perfectly! The vet addressed my concerns and suggested appropriate treatment. He even considered my budget and made suggestions to help me save money too. Grey came out smiling with a goodie bag full of treats and toys! We could not be happier. Thanks VCA Delta Oaks!!

They provided our aging border collie with PRP injections. He is up to 45 minute walks and off his pain medicine. Wonderful vets and staff. Excellent personal follow-up..

To say i appreciate this guys doesnt go far enough... I took my sweet baby girl (kitty, Jenny) of 18 years in to get checked out after she was found limping. After a few visits and some tests I found out she has cancer. They have helped me in so many ways... from helping me keep cost down, helping me keep her comfortable, to taking my MANY anxiety riddled phone calls. I will take every pet I ever have here because I trust them and they REALLY care. Especially Dr. Schulke (I think thats how its spelled??) He has been so patient with me and treated her with so much care. These guys are the real deal and are truly there to help you and your pet, not out to make a buck. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ????????

The single most terrible vet in Eugene and Springfield. Don’t waste your money with these UNPROFESSIONAL people! Check out Q street hospital in Springfield, way nicer staff!

My dog is 2 and very healthy, we don’t have to use the vet much. However she had an eye condition that we ended up in the emergency vet clinic for one evening. The following day I called VCA (my primary vet) to inform them and they immediately called the emergency vet to get the files on coco. On top of that the vet (Dave Samuel) then personally called me to ask about the treatment and if I had any further questions or concerns about my dogs care. The service was remarkable and so greatly appreciated.
