We got a standard poodle last spring and shopped around for a groomer and Foxy Dog came highly recommended by our neighbors. We tried a couple other places anyway and had good experiences, but Foxy Dog hooked us. Our dog always comes home looking amazing - great cuts, good nails, clean ears, the works. Their prices are competitive, particularly considering the high quality of service. It's easy to get an appointment if we call in a few weeks ahead. We have had a lovely experience with the groomers there, and are particularly in love with Tracy so always request her. ???? We love Foxy Dog!

I have been taking my two chihuahuas Foxy Dog for a couple years for regular nail trimmings. Every interaction with the staff has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Tracy does an amazing job with both my dogs! She’s always sweet to them and gets the job done quickly. I highly recommend!

I’ve known the staff at Foxy Dog for many years, professional reliable and compassionate grooming. Interesting that a prior review mentions being kicked out of the shop as they are still not allowing customers into they store due to their Covid protocols. Thank you Foxy Dog for keeping your customers and clientele safe!

We have been taking our standard poodle, Willy, to foxy dog for years and have only ever received amazing service. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Tracy is an amazing groomer and takes great care of Willy.

I brought in my extremely fuzzy, large and chubby cat for grooming. He needed some mats removed and since it was nearly summer we decided to go for the full shave. They did an amazing job on him. He smelled so nice that our other cat didn't recognize him and hissed at him, lol. They did a fantastic job on our boy. He didn't even seem very traumatized. Well worth the price and we will return next time one of our cats need a shave. I understand they are having some problems with staffing as everyone else is, but I think they're worth it.

Our normal groomer was unavailable for a few months so we checked with The Foxy Dog and they were able to get our two (Tank and Foxy) in pretty fast. They were excellent at communicating, met us at the door and were a good price for grooming. They were very understanding and sweet towards my anxious dog and both of our pups came home smelling great and totally happy! Will definitely use them again in the near future!

We have been using Foxy Dog for 3 years for our Standard Poodle and we adore all the staff! Everyone there loves their jobs and our dog knows his groomers name and gets excited and runs to the car when he knows it’s time to go see Tracy. He always greets her with a big hug! Like many other businesses CoVId has had its toll on them. They are working extra hard to keep staff and pets safe and always doing it with a smile! Make sure you plan ahead and schedule your appts in advance because it lightens their load and limits the phone calls that interrupt grooming time and also saves them money because they don’t have to send out reminder postcards. Their prices are super resonable in comparison to other groomers, also just a reminder to tip to show them you appreciate their hard work! ❤️????

I just moved to the area and had to find a new groomer to trim my two little dogs nails. This place had decent reviews so I went ahead and took them in. The entire experience was AWFUL for both the dogs and me. Firstly, they kicked me out of the building without even asking what I needed. Secondly, they never bothered asking the dog names, introducing themselves. I asked for nail trims and buffs and they only cut them and severely unevenly. BOTH OF MY DOGS CAME OUT BLEEDING and yet I was still expected to pay for the service. And don’t get me started on how ghetto the place is too. Will never go back. DON’T TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE!!!!!

Please disregard what any former employee who was fired said in their fake review to try to get back at the owner. This is hands down the BEST grooming shop in Eugene! The owner, and all the groomers, are kind and compassionate. They do an amazing job grooming all different breeds. They truly love the dogs they groom. None of them would EVER hit a dog!!! It simply would not happen. These groomers have nothing but love for these dogs. They are professionals. Their work is excellent. Shame on you young lady for trying to make others pay for your bad decisions. Take responsibility for your actions.

I worked here for 6 months and saw the owner, Jessica, hit dogs for not behaving. Groomers were constantly yelling, cussing, and screaming at the dogs. They are unnecessarily mean to the dogs and I wouldn't let them within 100 yards of anything I love.

We love this place! Our dogs are very well taken care of here.

This groomer takes cash or check only. No credit or debit payments at all. Had to go back home and reschedule with another groomer. I won’t come back here! Very poor business decision to NOT take debit or credit cards. What if a person has a prepaid Visa card as gift to pay with. Not coming back!

First time getting my 9 month old long haired GSD groomed. Foxy dog did an excellent job! My boy looks and smells so nice and they did everything I asked :) I would attach a picture but I can’t get my boy to stay still for more than .5 seconds great job and I will be back!

Sweet, down to earth great grooming experience.

Foxy dog washed, brushed and clipped the nails of my dogs for the first time yesterday after relocating from Seattle.They look and smell amazing with no dangling tufts of fur and all evidence of their many recent visits to the dog parks gone! My dogs were happy when they came out yet not frantic to leave as they have before.Clearly they were comfortable which is a first. All for much leas than we paid in Seattle. We will be back!

We were told this groomer had experience with old dogs and would be able to take extra good care of our 12 year old husky. I spoke with the receptionist upon arrival and explained he has bad hips and I would much rather his experience be as painless as possible, rather than recieve a perfectly clean pooch back. I had told them to care more for his well-being than the brushing. They let me know that was no problem. They called me over 3 1/2 hours later. When I arrived they said it went great, and yet once they brought my dog outside he could barely stand or walk due to overexhaustion. I paid and left a tip, but made sure to explain my deep frustration. The response I received was not apologetic, they gave me excuses and said my dog was already in that bad of shape when I dropped him off. I did not feel like I was heard at all, but instead given excuses and told my dog is old so that's how it goes. The compassion and care I had hoped to see for my old husky boy was no where to be seen.

Took my Gucci here for the 1st time. I was super nervous because my dogs never been to the groomers before but the lady that took Gucci was super sweet and reassuring. He came out looking handsome. In all honesty I was super skeptical because the outside of the building looked unpleasant but was super satisfied and happy with the end results and the customer service. Will definitely bring my puppy here again.

I brought my little dog Archie in for a Lion cut. He immediately bonded to Tracy, who did the shampoo and cut. Archie looks beyond adorable. I’ve already gotten so many compliments! They followed my instructions perfectly, and I feel like it was great service at a reasonable price.

My husband realy liked Sara's hair cut he liked the fact that you also gave her a bath it was inclued in the grooming cost the price. for the dog grooming I think the price is a little high but I can under stand alot of dog S are not to friendly.

Friendly staff who work miracles on my old pup. Midnight always looks (and smells) 10x better at pick up than he did arriving.

The groomers here know their jam. One of them in particular was VERY understanding of my chow mix and how scared he is with people. And he warmed up to her on spot. If that doesn't tell you how amazing they are with dogs, I'm not sure what will. Also, sup with miguel? He seems real mad about not understanding the basics. Maybe he shouldn't own a dog.

I recently had a negative experience (3/14/21). I arrived with Brody (Goldendoodle) for an appointment at 9am. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the the groomer. I I attempted to provide her with a picture of the haircut I desired for Brody. She declined to see it and stated that she would only be able to give him a “buz cut.” This baffled me, as she was able to give him a great haircut three months prior. The groomer further explained that she didn’t have the time to give Brody a proper haircut. The groomer continued in a condescending and passive aggressive tone. After minutes on inquiry, I decided it would be best to forgo the haircut. I scheduled an appointment in advance because I believed that foxy dog could provide my dog with a tasteful haircut. Today’s experience is counterintuitive to that. I don’t normally provide reviews, but this one is intended to covey my frustration with foxy dog. I will no longer be taking Brody to foxy dog and I suggest you think twice before taking your dog there as well. Sincerely, Miguel (Military Vet).

I have been taking my pomeranian/german spitz/unknown other breeds mut-mix into foxy dog for about a year and a half/two years. My boy is the sweetest, gentlest, friendliest dog you will ever meet… that is until you take shears, nail clippers, or a brush anywhere near him and he goes absolutely ballistic. I'm talkin' biting, screaming, thrashing, the whole nine yards. It is BAD. Despite this, these ladies always do an amazing job (beautiful, thorough, just fantastic, really) with him and never have a single negative thing to say about him or his behavior during his stay with them. They genuinely seem to care about him and his well-being and he always seems happy and chill after his visits. If you have a difficult dog and/or a breed that has especially time consuming coats, it can be a little spendy, but not unreasonable at all in my opinion, and they are worth every cent. You get what you pay for if you do have a dog that falls into this category. Can't recommend them enough. I'll keep using foxy dog as long as I live in Eugene.

Foxy Dog does a phenomenal job making our sweet golden doodle look and feel so pretty! She is always satisfied with the way she looks when she gets home from their great care and attention to detail. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and they are always on time!

I took my guide dog in today! Very happy with the end result. Staff was very friendly. They trimmed my companion up awesome!

These people know and love dogs. They are consistent, you can usually get an appointment within a day or two, they do amazing work and alert you of any issues, and, seriously, my dog loves going there. He hears me say, “Foxy Dog” and he gets so happy and excited. And he comes home looking and smelling amazing. I don’t care what they charge, my dog and I both love them. (I don’t know if it’s fair, it’s the only place we’ve ever gone.)

We've taken our poodles twice for bathing/grooming. They do a great job! Prices are reasonable as well.
