I have an older pitty who has hip displasia and doesn't like getting her nails trimmed. These guys did such a great job, and were so accommodating to Lucys needs! They were thorough and communicated well. Lucy came out happy! They made the whole experience easy for both human and dog.

We have taken our Westies Riley, deceased, and Cody, our current westie, to Send Rover Over for about 12 years. It's hard to find a groomer that can do a good westie cut and they have done an excellent job every time. They are kind and gentle to our dogs as well. I highly recommend them.

We switched from Petsmart to this place. What an improvement! The folks at SRO are heads and shoulders above the PS folks in terms of quality of their work and their professionalism. Plus, the shop is closer to parking and has a lot of cool stuff for dogs, some of it made locally or in Oregon. Why did we wait so long to switch!

I have been taking my little guys here for years! One being a very timid little shelter boy that screamed when his feet were touched. I of course informed the staff of his sensitivity and fear and they were more than happy to take extra care and patience. The proof is in the pudding because after each visit he would mind less and less for even myself to touch his feet and he hasn’t had any fears for quite some time now. The compassion and kindness is just above and beyond! ALSO my boys are always super adorable when they leave so rave reviews all around from me for Send Rover Over!

MacKenzie has groomed our spaniel mix Harley a few times now. He grows a LOT of fur between his toes that catches a bunch of junk when he walks. We've tried to trim it ourselves in the past with pathetic looking results. When MacKenzie works her magic, he always ends up looking great head to toe.

My dog (Great Pyrenees) looks great after getting groomed yesterday! Love how quick they were and appreciated their covid precautions. Highly recommend them.

We have waited months to get our dog in for a trim and haven’t heard a single thing back from them. Multiple emails and voicemails... I understand these are “hard times” but come on at least answer your customers back. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Will not be back..

Anna is the best groomer that our 10 year old cockapoo has ever had!!!! the store carefully adheres to covid protections, and we are confident that we'll not bring home the virus.

They are really nice and professional! The first Monday is ONLY Cat Day, that is so sweet for cats which will feel nervous with strange dogs. My two fur friends enjoyed taking a shower at here!

Love these ladies and the professional, and very competent work they do. After two very bad experiences with groomers in Florence, I am happy to drive an hour for a groom at Send Rover Over. I would recommend them to everyone. Treated my big baby like their own, and actually groomed him like I requested.

Kate and McKenzie handled my ridiculously hyper dog masterfully and on top of that they were really chill about how intense she is! I would highly recommend coming here.

My dogs look great and are handled well. They are always happy to see Marit. I've been using them for 7 years and wouldn't consider switching.

They are expensive, and very difficult to get into because they are always booked out. They do a great job, and I was happy with the service, but not the right fit for my anxiety ridden girl...

Poor cut and impersonal service. Staff did not require vaccination information. Worst of all, my baby cowered in my arms at pickup. Would not recommend this business. Update: It's difficult to understand when a company's review of service that didn't meet standards is turned back on the unhappy client. Indeed, we ALL had experienced the fire ON 11/08/18 , but this was months after and our pup had been "back to normal" for several weeks and was why we had waited until then to take her in. They were told ahead of time in order to exercise extra care. Bottom line...if your too busy and can't treat your clients as you would your own pets, then DON'T take it out on the animals. My dog had been to another vet initially in So. Cal and checked out, spayed and vaccinated WITH NO ADVERSE BEHAVIORS.

I was ask to not bring Oliver back because it took two people to wash his tummy and cut his nails. He is a twenty lb dachshund, I have no problems washing his tummy. He hates his feet being touched but he doesn’t bite, just pulls back. I have taken him here for months and they were never very nice. Each time they missed cutting two or three nails.

We have taken our dogs for grooming with the business owner, Marit Vike, off and on for about five years, returning only because she did a very good job on the grooming itself. However, we would periodically stop going there for two reasons, the most important being that we would occasionally find out after our dogs came home that they had been shaved much too closely in some area of their bodies—usually around their anuses—and sent home with raw abrasions that clearly had to have been painful to experience. To make matters even worse, after these occasional negative experiences, when we attempted to discuss our disappointment and dismay with Marit, we were always met with absolute denial on her part that she was responsible for these injuries. She would talk over us and make false claims that our dog(s) had come in for grooming already having been injured, which we knew to be untrue. She always had an excuse or a ready “story” and never once accepted responsibility for her actions, never once apologizing or offering to make amends in any way. The second reason we found other groomers periodically was because, over time, her prices became ridiculously expensive and totally out of line with other area grooming services. We have recently decided, after yet another experience where our dog came home with an open scrape, that we will never use this service again. Once again, we called and spoke to this business owner directly about this problem, and once again, we were met with falsehoods from her about the origin of the injury. We had brushed our dog only the day before taking him in for grooming, so we knew for a fact that he had not had this abrasion before taking him in for his appointment. I would encourage anyone who takes their dog in for grooming at this business to thoroughly check over his or her body afterward to be sure no injury has occurred.

Unlike with other groomers, I have never had to worry about whether my dog was being treated well at Send Rover Over. Having this peace of mind has been worth driving out of my way, paying more for their services, and working around their limited availability in the past. Unfortunately, as this business has grown over the last few years, so have their prices. I was paying a little over $40 per appointment when I first started taking my 15-pound poodle mix to them. These days, I'm paying nearly $60. Recently, I missed an appointment for the first time and was told I would need to pay a $57 cancellation fee. Their work is solid (nothing extraordinary, but definitely solid), and while I trust them with my dog, I can no longer afford them. Ultimately, if money is not an issue, they're not a bad choice. They're clearly not hurting for business and are happy to make preexisting clients pay more to keep up with demand.

Yesterday was my dog's first visit to Send Rover Over for grooming. She's a long-haired dog that has received some unfortunate haircuts in the past, but I couldn't be more pleased with her appearance! She looked so well taken care of (a night and day difference from when I dropped her off) and the cut was exactly as I'd hoped it would be. She can be a bit of a handful at the groomer and I do my best to make sure she'll be as calm as possible, but I was extra relieved that they appeared to be very capable of handling her and it was all taken in stride. This is the first groomer I've really been excited to take my dog back to and I've already scheduled another appointment.
