The vets and staff here are professional and compassionate. They took care of my dog for years. But the way they cared for him after he passed truly touched me. Thank you so very much.

These people lost my dog some where in central point and just handed me my dogs leash and said good luck finding him I looked from about 3 o'clock in the afternoon till 6 that evening once it got to dark to see luckily a kind person brought him back the next morning and then called and ask if I was coming to get him I asked if they did the job they said no so I asked them to help fix his ears and flee probably I had just rescued this dog about 3 weeks prior once they said they did the job charged me 350 and gave me a tiny bit of meds he still has flees and his ears are still full of gunk and he can't hear I am worried this might make him def so now I will have to take him to another vet and pay them a chunk of money to do the job these people never did. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE they will loos your dog not do the work and still charge an arm and a leg for nothing

They took such good care of my sweet and stubborn Mini Schnauzer Tank. After 3 days and 2 nights stay we were expecting a bill that was going to cost both my husband’s and my arm and leg. We were pleasantly surprised at the value of care he got for the cost. Thank you Roxy Ann Veterinarian Hospital!

2nd generation Vet in our family. Hid father was my parents Vet. He genuinely cares about our animals.

Our breeder referred us to the Roxy Ann veterinary hospital to get our Doberman pinscher puppies ears cropped; it was about an 8 hour drive for us but there were no reputable veterinarians in our area that specialize in ear cropping. Absolutely couldn’t be more pleased, their shapes are perfect (we provided samples of what we were looking for) and since this was our first experience with the process we relied on additional information/tips from their staff along the way. Very helpful every time we needed to calm then for reassurance. Scary process for the first time and these folks sure helped to calm our nerves. Thanks so much Roxy Ann Veterinary Hospital and staff ????

Our family has been with Roxy Ann Veterinary Hospital since the beginning! We've occasionally visited others throughout the years due to our place of residence, but no one has ever compared to Roxy Ann! They were and still are worth seeing even if the distance may be further away than others. The staff and Doctors are fantastic and genuinely compassionate and caring towards each and every animal. The doctors are patient and make you feel like you're the only one there, when in fact there are many animals that need their care as well. They will always suggest what your pet needs, but they don't pressure you. They are very aware that not everyone has the finances to get all labs, exrays, MRI's and ect.... They are in this field for their love for animals, and not just for the paycheck. Veterinarians like these at Roxy Ann Veterinary Hospital are hard to find!

While Roxy Ann Veterinary was recommended to me by a friend I was not comfortable at their clinic. I was treated well by the staff but the care and communication was not for me. After my dog spent 3 days there due to some swelling on his muzzle I brought him home and never once did the vet talk to me about what was going on. I called and asked for him when I brought my buddy home to better understand and felt like he didn't really know what the issue was for sure. I found a other vet in town that actually communicated with me and that's what I expect Sonam happy now.

My go to place. They are quick to get you in for an appointment and the entire staff there is so sweet and caring. They are also super reasonable in price compared to most vet places around town. highly recommend!

This hospital/clinic goes above and beyond, they literally have saved Mr.Chow's life several times and are so compassionate and loving. Its rare to see a business ran with concern and care foremost!

I never met the doctor. I only was able to interact with the front staff. It's hit or miss with them. The customer service is directly connected to which attendant you get. When I arrived to drop off my dog for a neutering, the attendant was kind and patient. When I came in the afternoon to pick him up (without a call to say he was ready), the afternoon attendant was very rude and curt. I was asked if I had a coupon for the service. I answered no and then for some reason she asked, "Are you able to?" I didn't understand what she meant so I asked her to finish her sentence. "Are you able to pay?" I was surprised so I tried to joke it away with, "Well if I want my dog I guess I have to." But looking at her face she was serious. I was offended as I handed her my plastic. That is not the worst of it however. When my dog was brought out he wasn't in the carrier I brought him in so he was thrashing about trying to get away from the vet office. I was given one medicine and told it was pain meds to be given every 12 hours. Then sent home. I didn't trust that it was pain meds so I called my regular vet for a refill of my dogs pain medication we give him when he throws his back out. I was glad I did because what she said was for pain was really antibiotics. Imagine having surgery with nothing for pain afterwards! My dog stopped whimpering after I gave him an anti-inflammatory and a pain pill. I went to that office on a referral from SNYPS. The clinic was more affordable than my regular vet. You get what you pay for. I can somewhat get over the office rudeness but not sending my animal home to suffer. I also did not receive a document verifying my pet had been neutered. I had to go back for it. I can't recommend this vet based on my only experience with them.

Monday late afternoon I brought my very young bunny, Linny, into Roxy Ann Veterinary. I wasn't sure if he was injured, had a seizure, was ill or one of the other countless possibilities, so my four children and I quickly rushed him to the nearest vet. The receptionist/vet tech took him back immediately. When she returned a few minutes later she said that Linny had a broken neck, most likely from a sibling fight, and would need to be euthanized. She went on and on about how rabbits are not social animals and need to live in solitude. We have been been rescuing and caring for rabbits for years, and that is far from the truth for the majority of rabbits. While a fight between the very young bunnies was a small possibility, I was shocked at how uneducated she was on rabbits, and kept trying to feed me false information. At that moment I brushed it off and just wanted to focus on Linny and providing my children with emotional support. I was heartbroken and, but wouldn't think of letting him suffer. She said she gave him a sedative so he wouldn't be in pain, handed me two forms to fill out and said she would let me know when the doctor was ready. She was fully aware that my children and I wanted to tell Linny goodbye and let him know how much he was loved. The five of us waited in the reception area, tears in our eyes, anticipating one last goodbye. She returned approximately 15 minutes later directing us to the front counter. On the counter was a box with our Linny in it, already euthanized. My stomach sank. I asked her why she did it without our consent, why she didn't have us come back when the doctor was ready, and reminded her of our conversation just 15 minutes prior. She just kept replying with nonsense " I didn't know..." "I thought...". Another receptionist/vet tech that was listening to the conversation rushed to the back, returned minutes later and directed me to leave. They knew they were in the wrong, and did not take a single ounce of responsibility. No one apologized, and the veterinarian did not even have the decency to come out from the back. There was nothing I can do to change that Linny had to be euthanized, but the manner that it was done is completely unacceptable. I have never come across such irresponsible, disrespectful, and careless veterinary care in my life. The bottom line is that they took a life without proper consent, and have left a family in despair. Please think twice before coming here and placing the life of a loved one in their hands.

Took puppy in for shots and claw trimming. She came out with a cut on her paw and eye vessels popped in both eyes and was terrified. Won't be going back.

The doctors are great but don't expect a nice experience in the office. Today we spent 2hrs (with an appointment) to get a health certificate for my granddaughters dog. The office smell burned our eyes, it was hectic, the staff coming & going like no person knew what they were doing. Will never visit again.

Even though I had never been to this clinic, we had a dog in labor who needed a c-section, called the vet and he told me he would meet me at the clinic. He did the c-section by himself, saved my dog and her puppies single handedly, it didn't matter that we had never been there before. He didn't require money upfront and afterwards the bill was blessedly doable.

I wish I could give negative stars. Beware this vet was the cause of an entire litter dying. 9 gorgeous puppies! I have had the #1 dog in the country several times and the female on a prestigious breeding had her water break. I instructed the owners of the female after 2 hours post breakage to get her to the vet immediately as there was something wrong and she needed a C section or the litter would die. This guy was busy with a friend and didn't want to help the dog but instead of sending them to another clinic he assured them they could wait until the following day. 18 hours later and 9 DEAD Puppies! Shameful turd.

This is far most the best experience with any vet hospital I have ever had. I took my dog in critical condition and they saved his life on the edge of death. Thank you so much Dr Starnes and staff.

Terrific Veterinarian. Everyone there cares so much, and the doctors know what they are doing. No rush job here. They give you all the information you need even when they are super busy.

WORST EXPERIENCE AT A VET EVER!!!!! I never write bad reviews I just ignore it but this is my exception. Do not under an circumstances take your Furbabies to this vet! The staff is terrible, even just trying to call them to get them on the phone (the are not busy, as I have sat in there and watched them on their cell phones) and when you do get them on the phone they place you on hold for 15 minutes. I took my two heeler pups in to start them on the every 3 week shots and the vet asked me to bring in a stool sample and I was told everything looked great. My male dog was so sick 3 days later with an incredibly large amount of worms. I know this wasn't the vets fault as most litters of puppies get them but he did tell me the stool sample didn't show anything. At the 6 month old mark I took them in for a spay and neuter, rabies, license and microchipping. They asked me to not give them any food/water and bring them in at 9 am the following day. I called at 4 to check on them and was told that neither had undergone surgery yet but they would be getting to them soon. I called back at 6 and one of my dogs was in surgery. Had I know that they would not undergo surgery until that late in the day I would of kept them comfortable at home with me. Also, I am no vet but the idea of my pups not having food or water from Midnight to 6 PM (18 hours) upset me. They kept my dogs overnight and by 11 the next day I couldn't wait any longer and called. "Yep they are sitting here been ready for a while" My dog had a complication during the surgery as her uterus was attached to her kidneys. They made it seem so simple, nothing to worry about. I checked the box marked give my dog pain meds but I didn't receive any or a cone. I bathed them the night before, they smelled great and were soft and clean. When I picked them up they smelled like they had been on the bad end of a dirty shelter for 6 months. They smelled so awful! I was told I cannot bathe them for 2 weeks because of the stitches. My male dog didn't have any problems but my female wasn't doing so well, she was in a lot of pain and couldn't get comfortable and I didn't like the swelling I was seeing around her large stitch area. I took her back to the vet and they wanted to take her back without me? I said no I am staying with her and I had to wait a wile. I was told that "they have never seen anything like this, it's only in text books and have done 1000 of spay/neuters" Why wasn't I told this when I picked her up? Or given antibiotics for preventative measures? They then tried to charge me $25 for some amoxicillin and said that she looked ok. I then asked for my vet records and they didn't want to give them to me right away! I got them, didn't take the medicine and took my dogs to a completely different vet. I am incredibly disappointed as this vet was recommended by a family in law member. A mutual acquaintance from high school even works there-she is the only one worth talking to at this place. This was the worst vet experience I have ever had and I come from a large ranch on the coast and have taken many animals, big and small, to the local vet office and have never had an experience like I did at Roxy Ann.

This was by far the WORST, and most unprofessional experience I have had at ANY business in the Rogue Valley, not just a vet's office. I had scheduled an appointment at 8:30 AM for my dog to be treated for a potential bladder infection and to have her teeth cleaned. I was told that I would be called to pick her by 3 PM. I did not receive a phone call from the office. I called myself at 3 PM and was informed that my dog was JUST being seen... 6 hours later than her scheduled appointment. When I expressed my concern to the receptionist about my dog's appointment being pushed back so late, which left her without water for upwards of 17 hours as a result of fasting for anesthesia, she informed me that they had 2 other larger dogs come in that apparently took precedence over my dog and her well-being. I scheduled this appointment less than 24 hours before.Throughout the day I was NEVER informed that my dog was not going to be seen at her scheduled appointment time. I am not a vet, but I do know that if there is a possibility that an animal has a bladder infection, denying them water is not a very humane or wise thing to do. I do not trust anyone at this vet clinic and will not trust the health and welfare of my beloved animal in such unprofessional hands. In addition to poor communication, the vet tech's do not seem to have much knowledge of animals or any customer service skills that I could see. I felt like my dog and I were just a number to this establishment. There was NO CONSIDERATION for me and my concerns or more importantly, my dogs health.

Great service, very kind and caring people at this clinic. Our dog is old and on her last leg yet the crew at Roxy Ann treat her like she is a number one priority. We all recommend Roxy Ann to our family and friends. Never had a bad experience in 17 years of doing business here.

I have had four animals with this vet and love this office! Have I had a large bill, sure have, but once in a while the care of animals can get expensive. My pets have always gotten exceptional care here. This office always seems busy and yes at times I have had to wait, but I think this is because they are so good that they have a large client base. I don' worry when my pets have to stay here because I know they will be well taken care of. The Staff remembers me and remembers my animal as well as what is happening with my pet. I have never had a rude experience here and I have been coming here for about 15 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Starnes, and Squiggy thanks you too. Along with all our other family pets that are not with us any longer If you have a bad experience here, I say try again, this is an excellent office and staff.

About 8 years ago we rescued a little dog, we had no idea how old she was and she was a real Alpha. And we have always taken her to see Dr. Starnes and his staff at Roxy Ann. Dr. Starnes has a way with animals; it is wonderful to know he comes with such expertise, education and knowledge. This "little free rescue" dog has come with her fair share of issues. She has had complicated surgery's, she gets all of her checks up and shots at Roxy Ann. Recently, she became very sick and I actually was preparing myself and thought it may be the end for her. She stayed for over a week. I spoke to Dr. Starnes or one of his staff every day. They always had time to talk to me, they let me come see her during "visiting hours" and they explained everything about the issues and the care she was receiving. BUT she got better and made a full recovery, I was so relieved. And I owe it to the care she got... I am certain of this. The STAFF loves her almost as much as I do and they always tell me how sweet she is when she iis there. On her overnights, they have special personnel that come in and take all the dogs outside and make sure they are resting comfortably (even on Saturdays and Sunday) Roxy Ann comes with old fashioned values and a history that goes back to Dr. Starnes father. You don't find this longevity in many other service industries. Yes they are busy BUT I have never been put out or turned away. I don't know about anyone else, BUT I find it comforting to know that I am not the only one that knows was a great place this is to take your animals.
