Wow! My 10 year old finicky poodle princess loved her examination today~ that’s a first. Maybe it was because Chris, the veterinarian was kind, gentle & engaged with her. He did the most thorough eye exam ever…I had some concerns about her vision. He reassured me that she was fine. He added that if her condition progressed there were definitely treatments available. I felt relieved & assured that he would be the person to care for my extra family member. Thanks you Dr Chris

Latest update 01/15/2022 I'm pleased to say, Sequoia is still following covid protocols. Everyone is always so friendly. My "maturing" cat Max appreciated all the extra attention and pampering during his annual wellness visit and shots. I have always been confident in the vets at Sequoia. Ms. Jackson our primary vet has seen all of our cats and dogs since Sequoia first opened in Canby. She has helped us through good and bad times with them, and we trust and appreciate all the care she provides them. Latest update 12/31/2020: These are difficult times...curbside "everything" but our vet is like our close friend. Our older cat gets special attention and care and understands ours cat's history. Always feels like bringing your "kid" to someone you know cares. We will always appreciate that and still know that our cat gets all the attention he needs, even as we all need to sit in our cars waiting to hear. Good job, Sequoia, and a special shout out to Terry Jackson, our vet. Previous post: I am always served by friendly, caring and professional staff and doctors. Don't know how you can improve on that ;-) I know that any time I bring Max and/or Luke in for any medical need or exam they are going to be handled with understanding and care. I'm glad you all are in Canby. Everyone at Sequoia Vet treats Luke (our aging dog) and Max (our aging cat) with a smile, friendship and care. I cannot ask for better. Thank you. Updated 12/22/19: How can 'warm, friendly, personal, focused concern for my pets' really be improved upon. I'm always very confident that Max (our old kitty) and Luke (our old puppy) are getting the very best.

Always able to get in the same day, if it's urgent. Always friendly and professional! Been taking our dogs their for ten years and never had to complain.

All of the veterinarians and techs are amazing. I drive 45 minutes each way because I know my fur babies will be taken care of. They are up front about costs and will work with you to make sure your animals are taken care of. I can not recommend them enough. I have gone through having 3 critically I’ll pets in the last year and they have helped me nurse them back to health and make plans for keeping their long term needs met.

The staff are friendly, courteous and professional. They truly care about your pets and treat them as their own. One thing I am greatly appreciative of is the fact that when they say they are going to do something or have the Vet call you back, they do it. You’re not left wondering what happened. I have seen both of the Vets here and their care is impeccable I highly recommend Sequoia Veterinary Clinic.

I love everything about Sequoia bet clinic. They have been there for the ups and downs of all of our dogs health concerns and preventative care. They are professional, caring and reasonable when it comes to cost. They are great about follow up and communication and I feel like they love my dogs as I do and take care of them as if they were their own as well.

We swapped vets since moving to Canby and oh my goodness we didn't know what we were missing. While I felt like our prior vet took care of us, I feel that Sequoia goes above and beyond. The follow-up calls and check-ins just make you feel like they are invested in your pets health. It's been very refreshing.

Dr. Chris Ryan is incredibly calm, professional and knowledgeable. Over the past two years he has treated my pup who has some unique health challenges. I am a helicopter dog mom and super high maintenance and he seems to always remember my pups story and is willing to discuss treatment options at length. He is an experienced, expert vet who is compassionate and respectful.

I can't say enough great things about this Clinic! I am a first time pet owner and when my kitty got sick I was a anxious wreck. Dr. Butler and her staff went above and beyond to help, they were booked out for weeks and I'm pretty sure Dr. Butler saw Lulu on her lunch break. It's clear the whole staff cares about what they do and any animal will be safe when left in their care. They deserve more then 5 stars! I also talked with Dr. Jackson over the phone and she was just a wonderful!

I called in right as they opened to get my baby an emergency appointment and they were able to get her squeezed in the same day within a few hours. And the appointment went really quick, and I was able to walk away with meds. They also called me back the next day with the test results. I love this vet for my children they really do care about your pets like they are their own.

I couldn't be happier with the care my pup has received at Sequoia. The entire staff has been wonderful with my pup. Dr. Jackson is a fantastic communicator and has been wonderful to work with. My 1 year old Lab jumps out of the car and runs to the front door tail wagging!!!!

Its a mixed bag. One of the doctors is sarcastic, challenging and uses vulgar language if questioned. Was compassionate when my pet was in need. I will take my business elsewhere.

They saved my dog's life when other veterinarians places didn't know the issue. One doctor kept him for the day and ran tests and found out what was wrong. Everyone I run into, I tell to go there, even on Facebook's Canby Now I suggest they go there. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I needed to find a new Vet for my dogs and I was referred to Dr. Chris Ryan. The staff at Sequoia Veterinary Clinic are simply wonderful. They went above and beyond for me and my dogs and I greatly appreciate them. Dr. Ryan is the best! He is professional and took his time to answer all of my questions. My girls were very calm and relaxed during the entire exam. I never felt hurried and left with complete confidence in Dr. Ryan and his staff. I highly recommend Sequoia Veterinary Clinic.

After reading all the reviews I could find on line, I called the clinic to set up a 1st appointment. The team dazzled me with their willingness to take us on as clients and lived up to all their excellent reviews. Our initial visit was fabulous. The entire team was patient, caring and explained everything we needed to know in terms we could understand. A follow up call was made to check the status of our dog. Thank you Sequoia for your professionalism and everyone that showed us respect and care.

Our diabetic dog has received amazing care from Dr Jackson. Tucker was fitted with a continuous blood glucose monitor and Dr Jackson has been extremely helpful tracking blood sugars and giving advice. She called several times even over the weekend to check on him and get updates. I highly recommend Sequoia Clinic. We've had several pets cared for there and it's always been a good experience.

We are new to the area and Sequoia Clinic got us in right away when we called about our elderly Boxer having digestive issues. They followed up the next day to check on her, and have remained attentive and thorough in their explanations and treatment plan.

Squeezed me in when they were booked solid

Had great experiences with them for over 2 years. Most recently, 2 very negative experiences. Spoke to management and they showed little concern or remorse. Will be finding a new vet soon

I had to call them on very short notice due to an emergency (and when my regular vet of over 20 years refused to try to get us in) and they were absolutely wonderful. The end result was that we had to say goodbye to our amazing pooch, and they were so compassionate and caring. Dr. Ryan came out to our car in the parking lot to see our old guy, and they gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. They were caring and compassionate and explained everything along the way. THEY are my new vet clinic!
