Ark Animal Clinic Bend, Oregon

I called Ark because my puppy was sick and Dr. Long spoke with me over the phone and fit me in to see my puppy within 1 hour of my phone call. He talked with me about care options and answered my questions. He helped me set up a treatment plan that worked for me and my puppy. He and his staff are caring, reasonable in approach and cost and easy to work with.

We came to Ark Animal Clinic because My 10 year old Pit Bull had just had surgery to have a large tumor removed from her chest and we were in DESPERATE need to change vets. I called Ark Animal Clinic and not only did the vet himself get on the phone to reassure me, but they squeezed her in at the end of the day to simply take out the two last Staples that our previous vet had randomly left in her chest. When I told them the horror story of this surgery, they welcomed me and my Lady Dog in with open arms. *(As a lifetime Pit Bull mom, I can tell you first hand that's unusual. Even in a vet's office)* By the end of the visit Lady Dog was belly up, tail wagging, in the lap of the vet tech giving face kisses through masked up staff. ???? This team is not only professional, they are kind. 10/10 Would recommended. My Lady Dog's records have already been transferred. ✨????✨

We've been bringing our adult Lab to Ark Animal Clinic since adopting her 4 years ago, and have been very happy with the care provided by Dr. Long and the entire staff. I would highly recommend them!

First visit and I’m very impressed! They had a sad emergency when I arrived. I still didn’t wait long for my dog to be seen! Just changed vets after 10 years and very happy I did!!

When we first moved here, my cat immediately got a crystal blockage due to the dryer atmosphere. Frantically trying to find him some help, I reached out to the closest clinic to us, and it was Arc. So helpful, great experience and well priced. They weren't able to take him under his special circumstances, but referred us to the Bend Animal Hospital. I also recently took both my cats to get their annual exam and vaccinations. Another great experience, and it was really lovely they let us in to be with them through the whole thing. Thank you guys for all you do!

The Ark Animal Clinic feels like home. The staff is always so welcoming and know our dogs by name. They all take time to greet our dogs, AND us. Dr Long is so personable and willing to take time to make the visit worth while. I highly recommend this veterinarian.

The staff at Ark Animal Clinic are friendly and responsive to the needs of your pet. They discuss with you about any problem they may have found with him/her, what they feel should be done and the cost before it is done. They show care for your pet making sure they are comfortable before any procedure. Appts are made to accommodate you.

We love the staff at Ark Animal Clinic. Everyone has been wonderful and very accommodating with our new puppy. They even have a mature GSP that sat with our GSP puppy after a traumatic injury. Really appreciate the personal service.

We've been bringing our pets to the Ark for over 30 years and couldn't be happier with our experience with them. Have tried other vet clinics but there's no place we'd rather be with than the Ark!

I recently moved to Bend (07.07.2021) and called every single vet clinic in the area. I was determined to find a clinic that had the most reasonable pricing for exams and labs, as well as friendly and well educated staff. The receptionist that answered the phone was not only incredibly friendly, but was also the only one who asked for more info on my cat (age, weight, breed, name) after I asked her about potential bloodwork. I continued my search, but ended up calling this clinic back and scheduling my cat (very quick scheduling). The vet I saw was so nice and good with my cat. He took the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend going here.

Can't say enough positive things about Dr. Long and his staff. We had to go in for one of the worst type of visits, as it was our elderly dog's time to pass. Needless to say it was very tough for my wife and I, but Ark made it as easy as it could've been. They were kind, and gentle with our Charlie and the simple things like taking our payment while we were waiting for the process to happen so we didn't have to go wait in the lobby after, to letting us stay in the room with him as long as we needed to. They even had a paw print made up and gave it to us which was above and beyond. Hopefully you aren't reading reviews for this type of visit but do know that Ark will take care of you and your pet. We will be going back here for all of our future dogs needs. Thank you guys!

This veterinary clinic is excellent. The doctor and staff are very friendly. I needed an urgent appointment for my cat, and she was able to be seen that day at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this clinic!

The entire staff, Dr. Long, Receptionists, Vet Techs are all knowledgeable and willing to assist and accommodate Clients and their fur babies. I had an urgent situation and they were willing to work Kenzie into their schedule. They give clear information/instructions and also give Clients a chance to ask questions. The staff is always fantastic! Dr. Long is my puppy's favorite person and my super skittish cats are always calm with Dr. Voss. All of our animals have gotten excellent care from Ark for almost 15 years now!

I recently took my dog to Ark Animal Clinic for her annual exam and vaccines. The staff listened to my concerns and Dr Long discussed them with me. This was a routine visit and all went well. I've been a customer for many years and know that I can rely on them to be there for my pets and me for routine care, emergency care, and end of life care for my pets. When they say they will call you back, they do. They really care.

Everyone at Ark Animal Clinic are simply amazing! My dog loves going in and seeing Dr. Long, and all of the amazing girls that work there! They take great care of your pet and don’t over charge for silly things! So grateful we found them!

My dog loves going to her vet, even when all chewed up by another mean dog and she needed lots of staples. They got us right in and put her back together.
