Didn't go in due being so far booked out, but had a great phone interaction that helped refer me to another local facility to help care of my kitty. All places I called were a few months out, luckily we got a cancellation at another place they recommended and my baby is healing quickly. Thank you guys!

Really poor staff that cares only about money and not your pet. Will deny you service even if you've been coming for years without warning. Front desk lady is the worst next to that money grubbing doc.

While currently, this business is very busy and booked out months in advance, I managed to get an emergency appointment for my dog. The staff were friendly and took great care of my dog. The Dr. took great care to explain what was going on with my dog and helped me make the best choice for my animal. I think it was well worth the 3.5 hour drive to get here from my home in Central Oregon.

Really friendly staff. We had a drop off appointment and the clinic was out to get our pup quick and was easy to communicate with. Our dog had a bad bacterial infection and if she went any longer without meds should could have gone blind, super grateful we brought her in to the experts. She’s doing a lot better now with her special drops.

This is where I take my dogs for their eye care and I have been completely satisfied with the service. Dr. Kurshner and her staff are completely professional and compassionate in the services they provide. This is the only ophthalmologist for animals I have used so I cant speak to the value for the price of service but the cost for services I have had rendered feels reasonable to me and the meds my dogs take are reasonably priced as well. Dr. Kurshner has also always given me prescription discount cards for things when applicable but the cost has been so reasonable for their meds that I haven't needed to use those to get the best price.

Our sweet girl ???? had a piece of sharp grass stuck right in her cornea, front and center. Our local vet knew he could not remove it without potentially damaging her eye because he didn't have the equipment. She was so uncomfortable, we couldn't possibly wait FIVE days until other places said they could fit us in because the 4th of July holiday. I googled around and found Dr. Kirschner, highly regarded animal opthomologist (2 hrs away). It was our lucky day. The compassionate staff was able to work us in to the schedule. Very professional, skilled, and equipped. This was a tricky procedure and Dr. Kirschner called us within an hour, having successfully removed the grass, gave us treatment instructions, charging us a more than fair price- all over the phone because of Covid 19. We felt 100% cared for. The staff was compassionate with our VERY vocal, squirmy dog. They actually liked her! Other vets get annoyed with her ???? So grateful.

Too make a very long story short, we had a very rough time and stressful time finding an eye doctor for our rare and special breed female dogo, who had an eye disorder in both eyes that we never even heard of before until that day at the vets office here in my town who couldn't do anything for our puppy. I searched everywhere for a animal eye doctor in my area Washington, and every single office was booked and busy, didn't care about our dog, didn't do anything for us but make us worry.. Until we found Dr. Kirschner, who was in a different state, she was booked but she made our baby priority.. She was completely worth the drive, Her bed side manner and natural caring nature is what put me at ease, she took amazing care of our special rare Argentina dogo, i knew immediately she was the right doctor for our puppy when she introduced herself , we are so very grateful for her excellent service and staff... These women are little angels.. Thank you for helping our baby be a puppy again.. ????

Dr. Kirschner has been treating various Pugs of mine since 2000. Despite the best efforts of my animals to scratch their eyeballs, and push their faces into bushes and other sharp and pointy environments, Dr. Kirschner has been able to keep their sight going. This is an honest business, too. I have told her that I’d bring my dog there for check ups as often as needed, but once the problems are fixed we’ve ended up on yearly checkups only. Great business for a fair price. And you can tell too that she honestly loves your animal when you come in.

Dr Kirschner is a gem. Our 10 yo shih tzu has glaucoma. His Banfield vet recommended enucleation right away and we knew we had to go check other options. I’m so glad we did and found Animal Eye Doctor. During his initial check, Dr Kirschner provided us with three options, enucleation being the last. We opted for an eye injection to relieve the pressure and it worked. Now we are doing the daily eye drops and so far our little boy is doing good.

Please, please take your pet here if they have any eye issues. They have the best staff, so professional, helpful, knowledgeable, n did everything they could for our Spencer. Only wish our Vet would have recommended Dr. Susan Kirschner a lot sooner. Don't hesitate to take your pet to her. I appreciate that she took time to explain the situation with Spencer in language I could understand. Thank you Dr. Kirschner you are a caring n amazing person.

Laughed when I asked if there was an appointment available! My cat could be dying from melanoma per the Dr through email. I'm cash strapped and she said if she gets worse to make an appointment. If I had known them that appointments were going to be booked until January 2021, I would have gotten in line then anyway as this cat is the love of my life. I personally rescued her after hurricane Katrina while volunteering with the HSUS. This is not knocking the doctor by any means, but the receptionist who laughed at me. I had been up all night crying. That's not kind or helpful in any way.

I have found that this doctor is the most kind and understanding individual I have ever used for the eye care of my dog. She saved his eye from removal , as was suggested by commercial big store Vet. My dog and myself are very thankful.

My family had a mini Aussie go completely blind at an younger age than you would think and after some contemplating the decision was made that she needed her eyes back, so we sent her up to these dr's and after about three months of check ups and recovery our fam lil girl has her eyes back 100% and happier and more full of life than she ever was. Great staff, they do great work and are friendly and professional and reasonably affordable.

I loved the doctor, the condition of the spaces could use some improvement. The doctor engaged with my scared little dog so wonderfully and with care. She also compared to the eye doctor in Vancouver, told me what actually needed to happen with my dog instead of giving me everything but the kitchen sink and leaving me to choose. This doctor kept simple which was so helpful!

Saw Dr Kirschner for a 2nd opinion before deciding whether to have surgery for a small growth on my girls eyelid. She was very helpful and took the time to thoroughly explain what the growth was and outline treatment options. The ONLY reason I gave her 4 stars instead of 5 is because she doesn't accept CareCredit. If I could have paid that way, she would have been a definite 5 star.

There is no reason for anything less than 5 stars. Dr Kirschner is one of the very best, but insists on staying small, local and affordable. My rowdy mini schnauzer hates everyone but his Family and Dr Kirschner. 'nuff said.

The Dr. Was very patient with me to answer my questions about my min pin s eye challenges. And she was very thorough and gentle with him.

Not good for annual OFA eye exams. The staff was clueless and didn't allow time for dilating the eyes, and the clinic doesn't have a scanner for reading chips and verifying ID.

The vet here is amazing. She is helping us save and heal one of ours cats eyes. I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am with how we are treated here.
