PetSmart Beaverton, Oregon

We've been taking our dog there for several years for grooming. We have noticed that lately, the grooming department's professionalism and customer service has been slacking. Today was the final straw as they miscommunicated with us about our grooming time, refused to compensate us for their inability to communicate and book clients, then proceeded to discriminate our dog because of her age. They rejected our dog because they noticed a "limp," mind you the "limp" was because her hair and nails were long at her paws, so she was slipping on the linoleum flooring (hence why she is there for grooming!). The manager talked to us with attitude, like we were an inconvenience to her, when THEY were the ones that miscommunicated our scheduling. We are never taking our dog back there and I strongly suggest that others find a grooming team who will treat you and your dog with equity and care that you all deserve.

This used to be our go to spot for grooming - everyone was really nice and the service was great. COVID has taken its toll here - everyone seems super jaded & calling for an appointment is pretty much impossible. They hung up on me 3 times this morning lol, not going back.

They have a lot of items, for your pets. But My goodness the prices are so high, No Wonder we spend millions on our pets!

I bought a snail for my fish tank a few days before but was having a hard time getting her to come out of her shell. They were very informative and everything worked out great! She is happy and healthy!

I go every week to get crickets. Everyone is friends and helpful. Straight forward service.

Excellent store, now that Banfield is no longer there.

I was in a rush and stuff helped me to find the carrier for my kittens and also He helped me to build de case. Great personality !

Good selection call before you go of you are looking online and it says in stock it's not always accurate

Drove here after going to the one in Cedar Hills because we needed prescription food which can only be sold at PetSmarts with a banfield, and this location showed a banfield on their pictures, so we thought they would have it. They don’t. If you need prescription food, you’ll have to go to Tanasbourne for it. Wish they would update their photos.

Hmmm.. I don't have no plans to get back there. People working there is OK. Store is ok but in general only ok.

Employees are always super friendly and store well organized

There was only one clerk with no one at the counter when I walked in and they kindly greeted me, then after shopping a bit and not finding anything else I wanted I proceeded to the checkout to pickup my online order. They were helping another customer there with a question about an item and took way too much time to pass it off to another employee so they could get my order and only did so when the customer told them to help me.

I’ve never written a bad review anywhere, but I felt this one was needed! The first time I took my German Shepard mix to get a haircut, he came back with mats all over, a shaved belly, smelt like wet dog, and they didn’t clean up his hinds at all (the biggest thing I made clear I wanted short!) I spoke to the manager, who was very pleasant, to get a free cut because of the quality of the haircut my dog received. After his next grooming, I took him home to cut out yet another mat around his groin area, and it seemed as though they didn’t brush through or trim up much of anything! The worst part, and why I’m taking the time to write a review, is because they left a decent sized cut on his leg. He came home limping and salivating because of all of the stress. I won’t come here again for their grooming department.

Jessica at the grooming area was so nice. My puppy is wild and though she couldn’t groom him because of his behavior, she referred me to an experienced groomer and set up the appointment for me. Super sweet!

Good prices, i can always take my puppy there and know she will be able to pick out her toys, and get her food and treats for a good low price.

Great variety for pets, friendly staff!

I have been a regular customer at this store for a number of years. For the last few months it has been impossible to buy the brand of cat food that I need and the employees are not helpful at all. On my last visit I inquired about the empty shelves and I was told that they were doing inventory and they had stuff in the back that they could not put on the shelves because it would mess up their count. I understand the need to do inventory but I can't stop feeding my cat for a week because it would mess up your numbers. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was looking for some canine aspirin to help my four-legged friend with a muscle strain. This was the only pet store at all in the area that had any in stock! And the sales associate was really kind knowing my dog was in discomfort. This Petsmart is very conveniently located in the beautiful Cascade Plaza which is right near Washington Square. It is super-easy to see from the road and there is generous parking for the whole marketplace. I definitely recommend giving them a try!!!

I trust my dog at petsmart because I love my dog who is VERy important to me.
